We have had the pleasure of Todd's plumbing service since we moved to the area several yrs ago. We feel very fortunate to have his services: a nice person, very professional, knowledgeable efficient and completely trustworthy. He is personally very concerned that we are completely happy with his work and demeanor and we always are. He knows our Baxi system inside and out. We would never hire anyone else to do work on our heating systems.

Todd and his helper removed the old cast iron floor standing unit then installed the new 95%+ efficient wall mount unit in 8-9 hours. We went from .6 GMP (that’s right, little more than 1/2 gallon per minute) of domestic hot water to nearly 5gpm. The new NTI unit is nearly silent and was able to have our smart WiFi thermostat hooked up to it. The copper work Todd and his man (TNT plumbing) did was amazing on the installation, using special pumps on each zone instead of unreliable zone valves. His price for the install was, in my book right on for what we got. No shortcuts were taken and top of the line equipment was installed. After the unit was up and running, Todd spent the time to properly hook up my Honeywell WiFi thermostat, and to explain in detail the operation of our new boiler unit. I hired Todd by his reputation doing this kind of work and was not disappointed. Highly recommended and would definitely hire again.

The job had been well planned. Todd arrived at 8am with all material required for the job. The job was completed late afternoon. The operation of the new unit was explained to me in detail. The area was cleaned up before he left. The quality of the work was excellent. The work was performed on the coldest day of the season with no issues whatsoever. Todd rearranged his schedule to be able to work on the project immediately. He and Tom (TNT Plumbing & Heating) had a direct venting system with a NTI Trinity tx151 tankless boiler installed within a couple days. I noticed a slight issue with the zone control, and he was able to swing by the morning before he left for vacation to switch things around. Very helpful, informative and down-to-earth. We would recommend Todd to anyone.

He was great to work with... Any questions that came up we worked together to resolve and end up with a finished product that I envisioned. Unfortunately, sometimes the customer has a design idea that is not necessarily the easiest for the installer; this was the case in my location, because of a tight space in the utility closet. Todd did his absolute best to accommodate me and I am VERY happy with the end results. My house and hot water have been warm ever since the install. I will definitely have him back to hookup any other appliances that I need connected.

Excellent! We are very pleased with Todd's professionalism, work, and overall experience. Todd spent considerable time with us explaining various boilers and the requirements for our home. We appreciate Todd's honesty in not overselling us what we didn't need and keeping our costs to a reasonable level. We were very pleased with the actual installation, as Todd & his helper arrived as expected, transported the heavy boiler with care, worked without interruption throughout the day, cleaned the work area following their work, and explained all parts of the new boiler afterwards. We highly recommend Todd and would definitely hire him again!

He showed up on time, performed the work efficiently and effectively and left. He had installed the furnace two years ago so it was basically new and I didn't expect any problems with it. It had worked perfectly last heating season. The cleaning and inspection are a precaution when using gas.

It went extremely well. The new furnace is working great giving us plenty of on-demand hot water. We have not yet had the need for hot water heat, but winter is not far away, and we look forward to a reliable heating system this winter!

Todd installed the boiler when he scheduled it, and completed it when he said he would. The installation is very neat, and has been complemented by the Vermont Gas inspector along with several of my friends who have plumbing backgrounds. The boiler has worked flawlessly and our gas bills are way down this summer (hot water).

Todd told us he didn't think the boiler needed replacing, that it could be fixed. He gave us the name of someone else, who also called us immediately and came over the next day. Todd was upbeat, professional, helpful, prompt, and RIGHT! The boiler did not need to be replaced. If we ever switch to gas, Todd will be who we call.

the installation went very smoothly. it was not an inconvenience at all even when the water had to be shut off for a while. although the whole cost of boiler and installation was paid through a loan VT Gas advised us to get through Green Mt. Credit Union, the price quoted to me was still very competitive and attractive. todd harrington did exceptional work. when the installation was inspected by VT Gas later, Todd responded promptly to install the recommendations of VT Gas.

He and his helper worked efficiently and were done in about a half day. We did ask him to come back and make an adjustment to the furnace since it was taking too long to reach its setpoint. He came by within a week and fixed the problem with no charge. I respect Todd's knowledge and responsiveness, which is why we chose him. He recommended a more efficient furnace, but was willing to work with us on the less expensive choice.

Todd did the original installation of our Baxi on-demand heating system, so I asked him to do the replacement of one of the zone baseboard units in a bedroom remodel He came when he said he would and did the work perfectly for the price quoted. I also asked him to do a couple of "while you're here" things, fixing a pinhole leak in an existing plumbing joint and extending a couple of rough-in plumbing items in a wall under repair. He took all of this in stride and did it quickly. While checking out the Baxi heating system, he noticed a couple of adjustments that were needed and replaced the overflow pump that was burned out (I hadn't even noticed the problem). And he only charged me for the pump itself, even though he ended up spending another 1/2 hour on the effort. I would use Todd again for any plumbing job, large or small - especially anything to do with an on-demand heating system.

We could not be happier. Todd is a real pro. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I'll keep this brief, as I completely concur with all the positive reviews on Angies list (which is why we chose Harringtons in the first place). This is one of the coldest winters in some time and our new Baxi wall hung boiler is keeping our house very warm, providing endless supply of hotwater (tankless on-demand) and at a fraction of the cost of our old units. The 700 rebate from VT GAS is nice to offset the cost. The installation of the new unit/including redone plumbing is so neat and tidy, it's a tradesmen work of art. Thank you Todd - we'll be in touch for our first service next year.

Todd's professionalism, technical skill, knowledge and work ethic were superb - the entire job (including removal of old system) was completed in just one day. Todd's bid was very competitive and considering expected fuel savings, a real value!

In one word phenomenal. The level of service and professionalism Todd exhibited throughout the process was the best experience we have had dealing with contractors since we bought our house two years ago. He was thorough and took the time to answer all our questions. The final product is amazing and we couldn't be happier.

I have waited a few months before posting so I could see how the unit performs. It performs very well. I have had no "cold water sandwiches" that I've heard about from others. The lead time to get hot water to the tap is not as long as I had thought it would be. I had seen some reviews of the unit that it needed to be reprogrammed if the power went out. I found that this is not the case. This unit has cut my natural gas consumption by 1/2 to 1/3. And it is pretty quiet. If I had the room in my kitchen I could've had it mounted there instead of in the basement. The unit is not small, about the size of an average suitcase. And it can vent through pvc pipe so I didn't have to direct vent it. Now about the installation by Todd Harrington. To put it in short form: it was a great experience. Todd was on time, on price and a pleasure to do business with. He worked quickly, explained everything he was doing, didn't mind that I watched him work and fired a bunch of questions at him ( the installation became a running tutorial with Todd answering all questions and explained what was going on, how the unit worked, etc.). He even found some of the old gas line to be a bit loose and tightened those up, drained the old hot water heater, and tracked down a blockage in the old water pipes. Todd and his helper Jesse were troopers and I would be happy to do business with them again. I would not hesitate to recommend Todd to anyone. When the Vermont Gas guys came to pick up the old water heater they inspected the new unit. When I said that Todd had done the install they both said "We know him, He does great work. We know he did it right". They told me this unit qualified for a $100 rebate from Vt. Gas. A couple of weeks later the check showed up.
