Roy's New View

Ron Roy replaced all the windows on our house with Harvey windows last summer. Our old windows were drafty, impossible to clean and needed a complete overhaul. We got 2 other quotes from Marvin and from Anderson windows, and Ron’s quote beat them both, by FAR!! Ron was a professional from start to finish. He installed the new windows in record time and they are tight, secure, and SO beautiful! Now, with our sub zero winter temperatures, we are warm and cozy inside. He also replaced our shutters and installed a new storm door. We could not be happier with Ron’s work and we would hire him again in a heartbeat!! You will not be disappointed with Roy’s New View!!

Brad did an amazing job. Someone had previously come in and destroyed my deck. Brad came when he said he would, tried pressure washing it twice and when the damage done could not be repaired with pressure washing, completely rebuilt and refinished it. It is beautiful again. He was conscientious and punctual. He came when he said he would and called if he was going to be delayed. He gave me estimates all along so I could choose how much I wanted to put into trying to save the deck. I live in a condo. He was incredibly neat. He did in 3 days what the guy before him spent 3 months doing. I would definitely hire him again. Thanks for a beautiful job.

We highly recommend Roy’s New View! They installed siding on our house (and remove the old siding) and two new doors and a new window. From the beginning of the process the owner, Ron Roy, was extremely responsive to our inquiries, informative, helpful in making decisions, and listened to what we wanted to do. The 4 person crew was very personable and the quality of their work was excellent. They were experienced, knowledgeable, diligent and efficient, and the foreman Lee was very attentive in working with us to make slight changes as the job progressed. We interviewed several contractors, and Roy’s New View price quote was reasonable, competitive and the actual invoice came in at the quote. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the work they performed and would definitely hire them again if we ever have the need.

Ron was very punctual to my email inquiry. He made an appointment and came over to see what we wanted done. He took measurements and then left. Came back in about one week with a "contract." Because our work was extensive, he waited until the weather was good for at least a week. Ron and his team were punctual every day - they were always there between 7:20 and 7:30 every morning. They worked hard until lunch, took 1/2 hour for lunch and then worked hard again until quitting time - around 3:30. They never took coffee breaks or just hung around and talked. They worked all the time. Ron thought the job would take about 2 weeks to do - they had it done in 8 days. The guys were very professional - never had any problem with bad language or loud voices. They were very friendly to me and my dogs. They did a very professional job, everything was done 100% to our satisfaction (and we were never unhappy with the job they did). They did everything to near perfection. I would recommend Ron and his crew highly and give them an A++. Do NOT hesitate to hire them!

I had my house Vinyl sided in July, I have used contractors in the past. Some good, some o.k, and some terrible. Roy's New View, was, by leaps and bounds, the best contractor I have EVER had. period. Professional and courteous, with years of experience. Quality work, quality products for an extremely competitive price. I highly recommend Ron's New View. Simply the best!!

Ron is EXCELLENT. His team work through the worst winter months to get our project done and they were a pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them.

We got estimated from three local companies for the same style vinyl replacement picture window. Ron came out to do the estimate and and a price right away. For the same style/quality window, Ron had the best price and ordered it right away. When he came to install, they were prompt, neat, and billed exactly as quoted. Would gladly do business again.

I received 6 estimates re: residing my 3,000 sq ft colonial home. I intervied 4, and signed a contract with Ron Roy, owner of Roy's New View in Colchester, VT. He's very personable and earnest, and provided me with names and addresses of recently completed projects. Having distributed vinyl siding in the past, I was keenly aware that Ron knew all the subtleties of how to install the siding, as well as the and quot;tricksand quot; of the trade - what it takes to make a good experience a great experience. Ron and his crew of two assistants worked diligently to keep this project on schedule through the rainiest June in recent memory. Ron always was there to answer our questions and concerns, and wrapped up the project within the time frame we had discussed. The punchlist was small and Ron and his crew took care of all items on the final day with one exception: The new exterior lights we had ordered were too lare for the blocks he had installed, but he was quite willing to order larger ones for us that he would have to re-install at a later date. He returned several weeks later to install the lights; he did that within the budget. We are very pleased with the work performed by Ron Roy and his crew. They were polite, respectful of our property, cleaned on a daily basis, and exceeded the work guaranteed in our contract. I would have no reservation in recommending this man and his work ethic. The experience with Roy's New View went very well. I contacted Ron, the owner, who went over my needs with me and made some recommendations. I had also been looking at other potential service providers, and I decided on him because of price and reputation. He came over and performed the work as specified.

I cannot say enough good things about him! He's trustworthy, and hardworking. He's work in second to none and I cannot recommend him highly enough! If I could rate him higher than an A I certainly would!

I contacted Ron on the recommendation of a friend, who is Ron's niece. After asking around a bit, he seemed worth at least getting an estimate from. He returned my call promptly and we set up a time to meet at my house to review the various things I needed done. Ron arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He listened to what my plans were for the house, made some great suggestions as to some alternatives and choices to be made. He gave me a timeline and got back to me with a written estimate very quickly. Ron's prices were not the least expensive among the quotes I received, but they were in the ballpark. I liked the fact that he is local and guarantees his work and the product he uses (Harvey windows and doors) 100%. In the end, I thought Ron offered the best value for my dollar. He and his small crew (2 others) were busy at the time, and he gave me a date of a couple weeks out to get the soffit/fascia part of the project done, which met my time frame. This gave me time to explore alternate contractors for the siding and window projects as well. In the end, I was impressed enough with Ron and his crew to decide to use them for all phases of my exterior remodel. I have no regrets. Ron and his crew were prompt and professional, and the work the performed was top notch. They completely removed all my existing siding, examined for rot or damage, covered the entire exterior in Polar wrap, and did a great job on the windows, siding, and trim. Everything is nice and tight, well sealed, and looks absolutely phenomenal. Of the recommendations Ron made, I used a couple, and am very happy that I did. If anything goes wrong with my windows, I know I can call Ron and he will correct it. Both he and Harvey stand behind the product. I can highly recommend Roy's New View as a siding and window contractor. Ron and his crew are capable and professional, and clearly take pride in their work.
