Black Beauty Driveway Sealing

The crew and owner were very professional and did quality work! I had to have 3 holes repaired and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company!

I have used Black Beauty to reseal my driveway for over 10 years and they had been excellent until this last time. They did the work of resealing and fixing indents in my driveway on 6/14/14. on 7/1/14 I called the owner to say that the fix to the indents was not done properly and he came out and agreed that it was not done as agreed to and fixed it. On 7/9/14 I called the owner to report that the patch repairs that he did was coming up onto the tires of my cars parked in the driveway. He said I needed to wait at least 48 hours before parking in driveway (same as what is on written estimate) and I told I did do that. He came out and fixed the patches again. I waited 4 days before parking in the driveway again and on 7/23/14 I called to tell him that the patch repairs were coming up on my tires again and he loudly and rudely told me it was my fault for going on the driveway and that I need to wait more than the 4 days due to the heat and that he would come back in September to fix. He came back in September to fix the problem areas and after a long winter I parked the car in the driveway on 5/5/15 when it was warm again a patch came up onto the tires of my car again. I will not call him again based on my previous experience.

Called on Thursday and he was there on Saturday. Excellent service and price. He was there on time, edged the driveway and sealed it. Great job.

They would get an A on everything. They came on a very timely manner. They are very reasonable. They have quality work. They just came when they said they were going to. They did a very good job.

Driveway looked great during the 4 months we had without snow. When the snow melted, the sealant had chipped off on almost half of my driveway. I called Black Beauty to tell them the bad news and was told it was due to the ice during the Vermont winter. I was quoted $200 (75% of the original price) to reseal the half of my driveway that had chipped up. Very dissapointed in the quality of work and the lack of ownership for their product failing.

This was to "re-do" what was done very poorly the year before. The sealer was peeling and flaking off all over the driveway. They tried to say it wasn't the sealer, that there must have been oil or something on the driveway (which THEY should have noticed when they did the job originally!). Big attitude problem.

It went fine. He came out and gave us an estimate. Gave us an appointment, showed up ontime, did a neat job, taped everything off and came back promptly the next day to remove the tape and check that we were satistified. Our driveway touches the house foundation and garage and deck area and the job was very neat. We have used them before, for both our house and our rental house.

Their price was fabulous. They were good.

I don't remember how much we spent. The interaction was good. We have worked with Kirby for driveway resealing and we have been happy over the years. We would use them again in the future.
