Description of Work: He walked around with us and reviewed the home. Loved his attitude, professionalism, and intellect. I put a 'B' instead of 'A' for "Quality" because I would love to have had more information with recommendations on who to use (for a new roof, for example)...but perhaps he's not allowed to do that or it wasn't his job. He's very good; I trust him.

 + -1 moreVaughn arrived early and was already inspecting the outside of the property when we arrived (on time). He was pleasant and upbeat and really thorough (it took about 3 1/2 hours for the review of the house). He caught many things we would not have thought to examine (i.e., there were supports in the crawl space for an addition and 2 of them had not been placed). Within a day or two we had a full 25 page report highlighting the things that needed to be addressed. A few days later we got the "OK" on the radon testing (though it did take a few emails back and forth to get the actual report). Vaughn did a wonderful job of talking us through the things we needed to pay attention to as first-time homeowners. He seemed to enjoy educating us on this information, which we really appreciated. We felt like Vaughn treated us like we were family. He provided several referrals to us regarding people who were qualified to do the work we needed to have done. We have also referred people to him who have posted on Front Porch Forum that they were looking for a good inspector.
Description of Work: Vaughn did a pre-purchase inspection of a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home built in 1904 that we bought. He additionally tested the radon levels to ensure they met code.
