Bill was easy to work with, provided a timely quote and showed up on the day scheduled to perform the work. He took down a very large tree that was up against our house and fence, there was no damage to either when he was done. The tree was cleaned up and hauled away when we got home (very nice if, like myself, you do not have a pickup truck!).
Description of Work: Bill cut down and removed a very large blue spruce tree that was overgrowing our driveway, fence and house.

I was extremely pleased with Bill Agnew's work and wouldn't hesitate to both hire him again and recommend him to others. He works alone (a huge plus in my opinion!) and definitely knows what he is doing. Bill was an easy person to interact with. It's clear he wants to understand the customer's vision, and throughout my project would periodically check in with me to be sure we were still on the same page. He listens, but also doesn't hesitate to interject his helpful advice and opinions. My cedar hedge had been largely neglected in the past few years. What a difference after Bill was finished! My burning bushes, barberry and dogwood were "opened up" by prudent thinning and then trimmed so that they all have shapes again. In addition, he took down several limbs from a mature maple tree that were getting too close to a barn roof, as well as a few limbs from a serviceberry and Japanese lillac. Bill has his own chipper, so he was able to take care of all the brush on site and right along as he worked, and then finished the clean-up with a thorough hand-raking. They say you get what you pay for. This was money well-spent.
Description of Work: Trimmed an extensive cedar hedge, pruned & reshaped several bushes, removed several limbs from trees of all sizes and types

We met Bill for a mutual friend. He has a lot of experience with other tree removal companies in the area. He offered us advice and gave us a quote. He was professional, courteous and cleaned up all the mess. (He offered us the option of taking the brush away ourselves and would not charge us for that - I liked being given that option.)
Description of Work: Removed several trees, pruned and reshaped our hedge.

He has always been extremely good at taking down trees without any damage to property in close proximity. Bill is very easy to work with, respectful, fair, and does a great job. The trees were removed, the final cut on the tree stump was ground level such that stump removal was not necessary since I may add some topsoil to this part of the yard. Great job. May ask Bill to do more also as an Arborist as he has a background in this area.
Description of Work: We have had Bill Agnew remove numerous trees over the past 5-10 years. These were very large trees which he climbs and takes down in pieces. Recently we had two large pine trees, and three smaller trees taken down, hauled away, and the site cleanup. The three smaller trees were good for firewood. Bill cut these to length.
