Live in a 10 room house. Moving to the 6 rooms on the first floor. Movers were to arrive at 8:45 AM. At 9:30 AM I called to see were they were. Their GPS in the truck was checked and I was told they were in route. 10 minutes later I got a call from the company. Seems they got pulled over in one of those surprise safety checks. They were in line for hours. Company was in communication with me and them. Arrived at 1:10 PM. 2 guys, great workers, professional and courtious. Moved something upstairs, other things downstairs still others into different rooms on the first floor. I could not have asked for a better pair. They worked well together and quickly. I was very happy with the service when they got here.

I contacted Booska while I was browsing for moving services for an estimate. They responded promptly. I needed my belongings to be held overnight and most other companies charged to hold anything in their truck. Booska told me there would be no charge. I explained that we were selling our condo and buying a house so I wasn't sure what time the closings were but they said it would be no problem to hold our things until we called after the closing. We decided to use them for this reason. All of the other companies that we contacted charged at least $100. We were Hickok and Boardman clients and as such, we were told by Booska that we could get up to $100 in free packing materials. When the movers arrived, they complained that we had not labeled any of our boxes. I explained to them that we didn't need them to put the boxes in each specific room, they could leave them all in our living room. They said for next time, we should label. Then they asked me to sign for a charge to hold our belongings overnight. I had asked several times if there would be a charge and was told that there would not be, which is why we chose them over another moving company. I explained this to the movers so they called the office who said that they would not charge us. Apparently they normally do charge if they cannot deliver your belongings before 7 AM. I had explained from the beginning that there was no way for it to be possible to move our things into the house until noon at the earliest. The movers were a little late coming to the house the next day. They moved our things in very quickly and put the larger items where we had asked. Then we received our invoice. We had been charged for the packing materials that we had picked up and we were told that there was a 2 hour minimum for the day so we would be charged for 2 hours although the move in only took an hour and fifteen minutes. I had to tell them that the moving materials were supposed to be free because we worked with Hickok and Boardman. They removed the charge for the packing materials. I told them that I was never told of a 2 hour minimum but they said it was company policy and could not be changed. Overall the experience was OK. The moving itself went quickly but I was disappointed with the customer service and communication between employees.

The company was prompt and reasonable. They were professional, didn't break anything, and took our things directly to the storage facility. They forgot to drop off our ladder and realized this after they had left. They returned to the storage facility and left it with the manager and then called us. They did a nice job.

Everything went extremely well. The estimate was very close to what I paid, the sales person was polite and professional, the movers were great. They were both very professional and personable, got right down to business, were very careful with my belongings and got things done very quickly. I would highly recommend them.
