Roof looks great and is a tight seal and fit all around - this is especially noteworthy as this is a 200yr old house! As you can imagine, there was quite a bit of repair to do once the original roofing was removed and there were some redirects and expansion of job scope due to this. Very neat workers and did extra cleanup at the end of every day (no stray nails!) w/o prompting. Richard is very professional and responsive to questions & concerns. Our only complaint was the length of time it took (7+ weeks!) but, in retrospect much of this was due to unknown issues revealed during work, addons by the customer (ie, my fault) and bad Spring weather. I do think they could have speeded up the process a bit by increasing their crew size (2 guys most days) but otherwise a fine experience. Even with the extras and the long timeframe the price stayed very close to original quote so little in the way of surprises there. Would definately recommend and use again!

Overall, the job went quite well, that is until we got the invoice. Parsons charged 1.5 hours travel time from Brattelboro to Wilmington, which is excessive. The total bill was $248, and this was for less than one hours work. The roof needs more work, but we will not be calling Parsons to make the repairs. I would not recommend using Parsons unless you live within 5 miles of Brattleboro, VT.
Description of Work: Three minor repairs were made to our slate roof. The flashing in a transition section had a tile replaced and an application of roofing sealer. A missing slate tile was replaced. The flashing around a chimney was inspected and re sealed with roofing sealer. Total time was less than one hour.
