The mini split I nstallers were excellent very clean and careful. They always took their boots of inside and were respectful and very professional. Paul our estimated was always responsive and was very helpful in helping us set up and learn the het pump water heater. There was some challenge with this as we came from an indirect hot water heater off the boiler which has tons of capacity and poor efficiency. Our garage was always 95 degrees in the summer because the boiler was always running. It took several visits to get the set up correct but Paul was committed to getting it right and they did an output test to verify no defect in the unit. We got everything set and learned that on the efficient mode of operation limiting shower length is key. Setting to all electric for times of high load, guests visiting, nicely ups the reserves and response. The Mini split is really awesome and works very well. Very quiet indoors and nearly silent outdoors. No more whirring vibrating window unit that I have to haul up and down every year. No issues with this install at all just a happy comfortable house. The cost while high is in line with others and significantly less than others. The professionalism sets ARC apart. I would definitely recommend them!

After setting up appointment they called and said that they not install units as I had not purchased from them. Left our family in a serious bind.

Responded promptly and provided an estimate in a reasonable length of time but it was way out of whack with other prices I received. Did not use them.

the workers and estimators are terrific - prompt, professional, courteous and capable. We used them for a major job here and many smaller jobs. the billing department (or those directing the billing departments actions) are not so hot - we are routinely billed for services that are warranteed. I can understand mistakes - but what i cannot accept is that at least one member of senior management refusesl to return phone calls, emails or work to straighten recurrent problems out. We finally had to threaten both court action and to report them to a government grant agency for nonperformance in order to get warranteed work completed. Again, the staff on the whole is fine. their work is s fine. the field reps are fine. the estimators and project managers are fine. but the management needs some serious work.

They do good work. They are on time, with reasonable prices. they're prices are very flexible.

They were very responsive, and the guy who came out was great. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

I think they did a great job. I spent $225 on that service and that included 2 hours of labor plus materials and the service manager came out to inspect the unit for the first time. The supervisor and the technician came out and inspected the unit. Everything went well and they were on time. The allotted time for an annual inspection was two hours and I think that was exactly what it took. I think that the bid was fair, it was not cheap, but they did good work. It was a system that is 1 or 13 years old and I wanted to make sure it was serviced properly so that it would run for a long time. I had a bad experience with another company, but with them it was a good outcome. They did the work that I wanted.

We have come to rely on ARC for prompt, efficient, thoughtful and courteous service on our home heating and air-conditioning system. The charge fairly for quality work.

We had just bought the house and it needed a new furnace (the existing furnace was 25+ years old), so we got quotes from several contractors in the area. The man from ARC who came to look at our old furnace and gather information for his quote was very friendly and professional and he answered all of our questions. However, when we received the quote from ARC it was nearly twice the cost of all the other quotes we had received. The other four contractors we spoke with all quoted us the cost of the new furnace and installation in the $4500 range, but ARC quoted us $8500 for the furnace and installation. I know that they were going to install a Trane furnace while the other quotes all included a Thermopride, so I imagine there was some price difference in the furnace itself. But the work that ARC detailed in their quote (fixing some ducts, etc.) seemed the same as what the other quotes detailed, so we just could not justify the difference in cost. In the end, we chose another contractor to install the furnace.

Pretty well. They were able to bill on a Tand M basis, which was fair.

They are a well reputed company locally. They did a good job. They were prompt and professional. Their price was reasonable. They were very good. They did not have any negatives what so ever.
