David came to survey the work and emailed his estimate the very next morning. After notifying him he had the job, he came the very next day to do the demo portion of the work. He'll return when I am ready for him to put up the rest. He is more than willing to work with my schedule (I'm doing it as I have time). He also solved a mystery for me at no charge while he was here. 2 outlets in my living room had stopped working and he determined the wall switch that controls them had been turned off (by the cleaning lady). I never used the switch so I had not paid any attention to it.

Mr. West was wonderful to deal with. He was professional at all times. The one day he was running late but immediately contacted me and notified me it was because he had the wrong part on the truck and had to swing by the distributor to get the correct piece. He gave me a detailed estimate and kept to his original price quoted despite having to come back due to a seized meter base. David West was prompt and cleaned up after the job was complete. Very respectful and answered all my questions.

I liked the price and his approach to solving my problem, so i agreed to move forward. He ordered the equipment, and began installation a couple of weeks later. Although his crew encountered many surprises during the rewiring process, they were able to overcome each and every challenge, and a week or so later, I was fully powered in case of emergency. The installation crew was friendly, professional, and clean. They came in the first day and poured the concrete pad and trenched for the gas line and conduit for the electrical feeds. While there was sometimes messy things going on, our house was respected, as was our privacy, and they cleaned up every evening during the installation. The outdoor work was very neat and unobtrusive, and the indoor work (panels, wiring, etc) was neat and workmanlike. David took care of all permits, inspections, and interaction with the city and the gas company. His plumbing subcontractor also did an excellent job. He and David were there for all inspections and testing, and David was very involved daily to make sure everything went as planned. He did and excellent job of project management. I found West Electric to be an excellent company to do residential work, and will call them any time I have a need for an electrician.
