Very pleased. Called in the afternoon one day and job was completed the next morning by 10:30. Cleaned up and removed debris. Was not an easy job but did it with no further damage to building. Obviously they knew what they were doing. Even took down a couple other branches to reduce the chances of damage later on.

He did a satisfactory job. The pricing is what I objected too. I asked him for a discount, and he said that he could give me a discount if I paid cash. I told him that I was going to pay by check so that I could count it on my taxes, and then after he left I realized that there was a senior discount. I called him back and to see if I could get $50 back because, there's a senior discount. He got disgusted with me and said that he had to pay a fee on his credit card thing, so he wasn't going to give me the fifty dollars back. I didn't like that. He was responsive.

Walt really helped us out of a jam! We hired another contractor (not from Angie's list) to remove a pine tree that rested on the property line between our house and our neighbor's house. They left a huge mess in my neighbor's yard, including about 6 cubic feet of branches and logs on their property. When the contractor we hired failed to clean up the mess, Walt's Tree Stump and Removal stepped in! We sent Walt a message via Angie's list, and he got back in touch with us the next day (on a Sunday!). He was out to look at the job on Monday, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and he the job on Tuesday. He used a wood chipper to get rid of the debris left behind by the other contractor, took care of the remaining stump, and left everything immaculate when he left! We couldn't be happier with the service, and we will definitely be calling him back next time we need tree removal services!

The guys were great. In, out and done with no mess and no fuss. Came out on a very short time frame as I had another contractor scheduled to come out to do an overhaul on the lawn and I needed the stumps removed quickly. I have other work that needs to be done at a later date and I will be contacting Walt again for sure.

I sent an email from the Angie's list web site and Walt called me the next day. He came out the very next day and looked at the stump and said he could do it for 50.00. this was my only estimate at the time,,but seemed very fair so I called him and said to go ahead and do the job. I was told he would be there either Friday or if not definitely on Saturday. He did not come either day and I was not happy. BUT he called me first thing Monday morning and apologized, letting me know that his son was the one I had talked to and the one that was supposed to do the job. He offered to do the job for nothing because of the no show and explained that he wanted to treat people the right way. I was very impressed with our conversation! He came on Wed,while I was at work and took care of the stump. thanks, Walt. I will use this company again.

Walt and an assistant were fast and efficient. We had around 10 stumps we needed to be rid of, from the smallest at a couple of inches across to the largest at maybe one foot across.They had to work around a fence to get at one of the stumps with their large stump grinding machinery (I'm sure there's a name for it - no idea what it is), and they were careful and avoided causing any damage. They also had to navigate several holes that were in the area of the stumps, and they did so creatively and without complaint. I would absolutely use Walt's Tree & Stump Removal again.

This is the second time I have hired Walt to complete work on my yard. He is by-and-far one of the most profession contractors I've dealt with. He's extremely punctual and always honest in his assessments. I never feel like I was being up-sold like I felt when others assessed the work. In the last year he has removed over 20 trees and ground down a dozen stumps for me. His work is so well done, I've had neighbors comment on his professionalism.

Walt showed up on time for my free estimate. We throughly discussed all the options concerning the trees that needed attention. Walt's suggestions made sence and we agreed on a price. I told him I was retired Veteran and a senior. He quickly offered a $50 discount from the estimate and seemed happy to do so. Several days later I called him back to schedule a day to do the work. Walt and his crew showed up on the scheduled day and right on time as promised. They started working right away and did not stop until the work was done except for a short lunch break. Everyone on his staff was courteous and professional. Walt really knew what he was doing and he stopped periodically to ask me and my wife if things were going to our liking. The crew cleaned up the yard, and cleaned up my neighbors yard as well due to the falled debris. Walt and his staff got the job done quickly and were very professional. The price was right too. My wife and I were very pleased and we will call Walt back if we should need tree work done again. Thanks Walt.

Walt came and gave an estimate for work soon after I had called. He and the crew came promptly on the date promised, and were very professional. The job was finished quickly and the clean up afterwards was very good. I would certainly recommend Walt's Tree and Stump Removal Service to anyone.

Lower limbs, had to climb really high up to get some of them. Business like and polite at estimate. Arrived when he said he would, performed the agreed on work, well and cleaned up afterwards.

Walt was doing tree trimming at neighbors. I walked down and asked if he could cut trunks down and grind stumps on 2 trees. He walked down to stumps and gave me a price. He was very polite and business like.

It went very well. He was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. I've used him a couple of times. The price was about normal for that kind of work. It wasn't dirt cheap by any means.

They came back to grind the stumps out front – looks good! I have only good to say about this company and my experience with them.

Walt and his crew were great! He was able to get us taken care of an hour after I had called for an estimate. They did a great job with the clean up and it looks great!
