Description of Work: Replace roof. Crew that did actual roofing job was great. Dealing with the office folks leading up to the job was less than desirable. I would leave several messages before I would receives call back. The ladies that answer the phone offer no help other than to take a message. They can not tell you anything about their scheduling. | |Their website states that they take credit cards but the contract you sign states that they do not. When I ask about it before I signed, I was assured credit cards would not be a problem. Not true!!

Description of Work: "This is the second roof we have had Thomas Roofing do for us. The first was 20 years ago on a previous residence, this job was on our current home. I give an overall rating of |""A"" because the work was done on time, at the agreed price and we were pleased with the results. I had two complaints: the first, I had to remind the foreman that the attic power vent was being replaced by the ridge vent (I caught the oversight before they finished the shingles, causing the crew to go back, remove the vent, tie off the wiring and close the hole), and second we were upset by the number of nails (a large mason jar full)that were turning up in the yard below the eaves. It required a second visit by the installers to clear them out. I still find nails occasionally as I do yard work. Other then these things, I would recommend Thomas Roofing and am, in fact, going to contact them about replacing the roof on our daughter's house later this year. "

Description of Work: Replaced roof including five sheets of plywood. | |The bad: They missed a few small areas that were fixed in time (about a week), this was cosmetic only. They caused some damage to the gutters but I am planning to replace them. Several (about 8 - 10) nails were found in the yard, unfortunately I stepped on one and another ended up in my son's tire. | |The good: They are easy to work with and efficient, the bulk of the work was performed in one day. The price was better than other bids. The overall quality was very good.

Description of Work: I went to work and came home to a lovely new roof with no sight of debris or disturbance to my shrubs and flowers. Found a few nails that were overlooked on the deck but other than that, our experience was excellent. The price charged was exactly that of the quote given several weeks earlier with no surprises. Seemed to be a good, hometown, company.

Description of Work: The roofer was to caulk and add flashing to a small section of a small roof (where the roof meets the house.) The plan was to use one piece of flashing but the roofer used several pieces that did not meet and did not solve the problem.The caulking was a disaster. After several conversations (I had sent pictures because they would not send a different roofer or a supervisor), we agreed that they would not complete the job - which was way overpriced. A very disappointing time and now I must have someone else do the job.

+ -1 moreThey were easy to talk to. I really love the roof, it looks great. I have no way of knowing if it's a good roof or not as I cannot get up on the roof to inspect it, but it looks wonderful. When they first installed the roof there was a minor leak and they came right back out to repair it.

When the phone was answered the lady who asked if she could help me began talking to another individual as I started explaining what I was calling for. I advised I had called them because of their high rating on Angie's list for professionalism and would like to be able to maintain that. She was very apologetic.

+ -1 moreWorkmanship was very poor. I've had 5 leaks since they completed the work (there were none prior to their work). 100+ nails were not covered by overlapping shingles. Failed to replace tar paper under the new roof surface. Oriented plywood patches in wrong direction. Failed to properly rework flashing. Pat Thomas is dishonest. Reasonable price if the work was done right, but horrible value for their workmanship.

We are quite satisfied with their service and installation. The repairs on the roof were covered under our home warranty so the price was very reasonable.

They did a thorough clean up job and didn t leave any nails or shingles laying around our yard. They made every effort to make sure the roof was done right and to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: They tore off the old roof and put on a new shingle roof. It was about 800 square foot.

They gave us a great price for the installation and we are very satisfied with their service and work performed.

+ -1 moreThere was very little damage, but, Thomas did a great job with fixing it. I was pleased that the arrival time for the job was right on schedule and that they were so very well prepared. There were only two guys and they were amazing. I have no problems with them or the work and I would gladly hire again. I even thought the pricing was rather reasonable as well.
Description of Work: Thomas Roofing did some patch work on my roof. It was just a little section that some of the shingles had blown off of.

+ -1 moreThe roof was damaged severe enough to have this done and our neighbors had hired Thomas in the past so we did the same. They ended up doing roofing work on five different homes very close by. The work crew was well behaved and worked ten hour days in order to finish in a timely fashion. It took less than two days to complete and we are very happy with work as well as the fact the left our yard clean.
Description of Work: Thomas Roofing & Supply Company incorporated replaced our roof after storm damage. It was a done on a twenty four hundred square foot house and the wood roof foundation was replaced as well.
