No accountability no solutions you can see the pictures before and after the work . When the guys built the deck, they carried everything down. was not expecting a piece of equipment, and not to protect my yard. The work was performed looks good, but there’s no accountability .I’ve had to repair the yard myself. I’ve reached out several emails several text messages. Mike shows up unannounced when no one’s home I’m just asking for some grass seed and some topsoil. Beware make sure you get it in writing before you hire them.

We were extremely pleased and very happy we chose Mike. We started the foundation on our raised deck about a year ago, but never completed due to many circumstances. Needless to say, not everyone was interested in finishing what we had started. But, Mike promptly came to assess what we needed, provided a reasonable estimate and worked us into his schedule. We could not be more pleased with both his workmanship and professionalism and look forward to enjoying our finished deck. It turned out better than we envisioned. Thank you!

My husband and I were looking for a good company to install a new privacy fence. We contacted Mike Tyndall's Custom Decks and Privacy Fences twice through Angie's list and twice by phone. Had to leave messages every time. The first 2 contacts were made in March and the last 2 were made in June. It's June 20, 2014 now, and they still have NEVER contacted us back so that we could arrange for someone to do an estimate. Never even returned the call! Beware of this company unless you don't care that they won't contact you.

I got three estimates for the deck and two estimated the deck that we originally requested, one was cheaper than the final price we paid and the other more expensive. Mike listened to what we wanted and recommended possable options, some we took and others we didn't. The crew took 5 days to complete the deck and it ended up being gorgeous, including three flower boxes, a bench and a slab for a fire pit, all his suggestion. When the crew left everything was cleaned up and was spotless. we noticed two planks that were very slightly misaligned about a week after it was done, we called him and he was out in two days to realign and do a final inspection. Mike did everything he was requested to do at a very honest price and I would hire him again.

beautiful deck. not the least expensive but nice work

Mike Tyndall and his crew built a beautiful Azek deck for us in our backyard. I did a lot of research and chose them based on their reputation in the area, It is truly a work of art and the focal point of the backyard. We were so pleased with their professionalism that we also had them install a fence in the back. The workers showed up on time, finished the project in just a few days, followed up to inspect their work. We could not be more pleased. Another neighbor of ours used them to build a patio and outdoor porch/TV area and were pleased as well. I would not consider using anyone else for work like this.

Here is the story: My daughter and her husband decided to replace their deck. As all smart shoppers, they received quotes from multiple contractors, Mike Tyndall being one of them. They decided to go with one of the other vendors (John Harrell Fence and Deck, who did a nice job for a reasonable price, thousands below Mike Tyndall) After the deck was completed, Mike Tyndall decided to drive by their house (on his own, because he wanted to see who they chose instead of him). Driving by wasn't the problem. The issue comes when Mike Tyndall decided to knock on their front door criticizing the work done by John Harrell, being unprofessional. Calling John a fence guy, not a deck guy. It didn't stop there, a few days later, Mike Tyndall decided once again to drive by, BUT this time ILLEGALLY TRESSPASSED on their property, opening up their gate and walking in their backyard to take unapproved photos of their deck. LIttle did he know, that my daughter is a stay home mom and saw him (I guess he thought he would stop by when they were at work) and called the cops because of a strange man in her backyard. The cops issued him a warning. Do you believe this guy! I am still completely awstruck of this kind of behavior..all because they chose not to use his service. So to all the people thinking of using his service..beware of what might happen if you choose not to use him.

It went very well. The company is responsible for everything from the design (including helpful suggestions) to getting any required permits, getting and installing and cutting as needed the Trex materials and staircase, etc. The crew was very professional, responsible and hard working in hot temperatures (it was near 100 several work days) and they went out of their way to make sure we understood the process and even thoughtfully created a temporary fence for our dog while her old yard next to the deck was in use for construction. The job was virtually complete in less than 10 days.
