The project was rescheduled several times before it was started, however, the crew completed it in one day. I am satisfied with the work done.

After years of drowning at the front entrance of our home, this company completely solved the problem effectivlely and at a very fair price. I am eager to hire them again to solve our driveway drainage problem.

Bert and his crew were courteous, professional, fastidious and speedy in paving a new walkway for our home. The project looked great considering the small amount of time it took them to complete. The pavers Bert suggested looked better than I thought! Great job!

Quick response and quality service

The company responded to my request to build a patio in a limited amount of time before I had a planned function. Although rain held them up one day, they kept me informed and completed the job the following day in an outstanding manner. This company did an outstanding job and I love my patio. I highly recommend them to others that maybe looking for a contractor in their field of expertise.

Part of deal was to "grade the area prior to installing sod. Done but not well by my standards.

I would have to say that I hate the internet when it comes to home improvements. I see how some people lay sod online and I expect the same. But of course different companies do things differently. I was impressed with my new sod, although I think there was a lot wasted. No fault of the company, but it was how it was cut from the farm. All in all Hampton Roads Irrigation and Landscape did an outstanding job. It has been three weeks now and I'm the envy of the block. KUDOS goes out to the company. They tilled the lawn removed the debris, the leveling was o.k. and the sod was laid down professionally.

MARK WAS KNOWLEDGE, POLITE AND DID A VERY GOOD JOB ANALYZING SPRINKLER WIRING PROBLEMS AND FIXING THEM. COST WAS CONSIDERABLE ABOVE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE, BUT PROBLEM WAS COMPLICATED.

They recommended Bermuda grass, which they shouldn't have b/c my lawn is very shaded and BG requires full sun. After months of back and forth, with their waiting weeks between calls, per their "guarantee" they agreed to install a new shade BG -- but too late for the season (Aug - Nov). They did refund a small portion and said they would install shade BG in the spring for same price if I wanted. Don't know what I'll do. Feel more like they ruined the lawn for me. They installed irrigation which seems OK. I way overpaid for landscaping -- some very poorly done, some done OK. Altogether not up to a very high standard.

They were very pleasant and professional. They arrived early and worked continuously. I was very pleased with the outcome. I now have a lovely patio to relax and entertain guest.

I only got an estimate. Mr Voight was very professional when he came out and he answered all my questions. If I hadn't been on a limited budget, I would have hired them for the job.

I had my in-ground sprinkler system repaired (pipes cracked due to ground freeze) and also had HRI add on extra zones. I was satisfied with their work; they were prompt and knowledgeable. A few years later, I called them up to have the sprinkler system repair again (drunk driver tore through my lawn) and have my entired lawn leveled and sod put down, and to add a brick patio and sitting wall. They worked quickly and efficiently on this project as well. I only gave them 4.5 stars because it was a hassle trying to get an estimate for the landscaping work (had to call weekly for almost 3 months). Overall good experience though.
