won't use them EVER again
Description of Work: Steve's business is a rip off. Thought he was the only small engine repair around so took mine in, wanted over $800 for the repair. Finally got this over priced estimate 3 weeks after I dropped it off. Was provided no info that the estimate would take so long when I dropped it off. Said no thanks and found another engine repair somewhat close, who wanted $400. Half of what Steve wanted!!!

Member's Sears Rider had engine problems and as we tell every customer that drops off their mowers in April for repair, we have a couple week back log before we can look at it. It is written on the recipt and posted at the front counter. If you plan ahead and get your mowers served ahead of time before spring gets here you wont have these problems...We offer a FREE Pick-Up & Delivery service during the months of January and February to assist our customers in getting them in early. Member's estimate was only $480 which included other repairs that he could chose not to have done. We give a complete, thorough estimate of all the items that need attention, not just a quick guess... We stand behind our repairs and they are done right the first time. That's why we have such a back log in repairs. People trust us and know it will get done correctly and thats why we have hundreds of retruning customers. We only employ fully certified technicians to perform repairs, not helpers or trainees. Member has been a customer of ours since 2009 and I have no idea why this situation ended up this way. We appoligise if there was any miscommunication on our part and would like to assist Member again in the future.
