Terrible! This company tried to rip me off! They responded to my call in a timely fashion but all went downhill after that. They called and told me coil needed cleaning ($150), they wanted to hook up their equipment to determine R-22 (refregerant) needs ($450) and to replace three simple screws ($120). This is after I paid $50 for a diagnostic! Why would I pay more to hook up monitor to determine r-22 needs? This should be part of diagnostic as advertised. I won't even mention the three screws for $120, talk about ripping me off! I reluctantly declined the service except for coil cleaning as they said this may be the issue. It was not and AC did not work after. I called another company (Smiley's) who informed me I got ripped off on coil cleaning at $150 when it should of been $50 and coil had nothing to do with issue of unit freezing up. Also, they installed the three screws at no charge as they cost under $1 at Lowes each at laughed when I told them this company (Classic Air's) wanted $120. Also, they gave me the r-22 I needed and everything said and done costed me $250 with Smiley's. This company, Classic Air's, wanted close to $1,000 after fees and taxes for the same job. DO NOT GET OFF BY USING THEM! Stay Away. I talked to manager ERIC on phone and he did not care and did not offer any discount at all even though I said I would still pay for the call. He said they get the $120 all day long for the screws and does not care what I think. I have never had such terrible service by an AC company and will never ever call or reccomend them at all. You want good AC service, call Smiley's AC in Virginia Beach, they rate an A on this site!
