 + -1 moreResearched several vendors both with and without Angie's List references and decided to contract with Chase Roofing. While not the cheapest, they had the established large reputable track record via Angie's List that provided us a solid assurance of a quality job at a fair price. It turned out to be a very zero stress and a professional pleasure to work with Shawn Burnett from the initial discussion and estimate process through the 3 days it took to do the work to satisfactory completion. Chase answered all my questions and any concerns quickly. The crew that did the work were very competent and professional, were very approachable and respectful throughout the work and did a very good job cleaning up all debris especially nails each day and at job completion. We experienced no damage to fences or bushes as the crew performed the old roof removal which is a very labor intensive and messing process. Shawn did an excellent job in explaining in detail all the options to be considered and then how the work would be done....it occurred exactly as he described so we experienced no surprises. The final cost paid was exactly what we contracted for.
Description of Work: Removed old and installed new roof on our large ranch (single level) home.

 + -1 moreShawn showed up for the estimate right on time and was very thorough when explaining what they were going to do. I did not schedule the job the day of the estimate because I had some other work being done that I wanted completed before the roof was replaced. When I called Shawn he had me scheduled within a week. They removed shingles down to the decking, repaired some damaged wood, and removed a box vent that was no longer in use and covered the hole with new decking. Installed 30 year architectural shingles along with synthetic felt and pipe collars with silicone sleeves that won't dry out and get brittle. Even with the upgraded felt paper and pipe collars the price from Chase Roofing was well below the other roofing companies I had spoken to. The biggest difference for me in making my decision to go with Chase was not the price it was their payment policy. They don't ask you for a cent up front and don't bill you until you personally meet them at the site to inspect the job. To me that says a lot about the quality of their work. And to top it all off you get a 15 year labor warranty in writing. I will definitely call Chase first for all my roofing needs in the future and have already recommend them to several friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: Replaced a full roof of 8000 sq ft with an intricate structure, many valleys and steep angles. The owner, Jose Lomeli, came to the house and spent considerable time on the roof assessing whether a new one is required and provided his recommendations and estimate on the spot. He submitted a plan for high quality shingles, improvement of ventilation and structural changes to eliminate trouble spots of the past, and providing safeguards against critter intrusion. Estimated work time 7 days which extended by 2 as the weather was not fully cooperating. His work crew showed up in force and on time and worked diligently moving from area to area making sure late afternoon thunderstorms caused no damage to the house. A foreman was always present to to keep us posted, and the owner made frequent inspection visits to keep the project on track. Upon completion, the entire area around the house was thoroughly cleaned as well as the attic. And finally, the owner spent considerable time inspecting the roof from the top and the inside to confirm the integrity of the work. We felt well served. We admired the acumen and dedication of everyone involved. This review is provided in appreciation for the work done and Chase Roofing LLC deserves our wholehearted recommendation.

 + -1 moreThese guys are great! They're honest, prompt and dedicated to customer service (their dispatcher even offered to schedule our inspection for Labor Day!). I was really impressed by their integrity; they could've said we needed major repairs and we wouldn't have known otherwise, but they didn't. Instead, they said the roof looked good and only needed one new shingle. I can't say enough good things about this company!
Description of Work: We took advantage of an Angie's List coupon for a roof inspection and $100 toward repairs. Our roof was inspected on 9/2, and a week later, a roofer came by to make the only repair needed: replacing a shingle.

 + -1 moreExtremely pleased with Chase Roofing! Very prompt in contacting us and setting up appointments. The staff was kind and courteous. They contacted us via phone the day after we purchased their deal to set up an appointment. Came out the next day to look at the roof. Called the following day to set up a follow-up to do the work. It was only a week after initial visit that they came out and performed the work. Price was very reasonable, and even more so with the deal. We had spent around $350 just a few months ago via our property manager to get flashing fixed and replacing of shingles on just that one spot. So to get both roofs looked at in their entirety and fixed (several spots), with debris swept off, for $164.75 (that's taking into account the $100 credit) it was a deal in our book. Will definitely be calling them in the future!
Description of Work: Purchased an inspection/tune-up of roof for $49 with $100 credit towards future service. Came out and looked at the roof and made recommendations -- replacing some shingles, removal of pine straw. Came back a week later to replace the shingles on both the main house (2 story) and 600 sq ft detached garage, and remove debris on both. We provided the shingles.

I dealt with the owner (I presume) for the estimate, then on the day set for the repair a gentleman arrived ahead of two workers. I thought he was going to stay but he must have been their supervisor as he left and never came back. The two workers did the work and left without exchanging a single word with me. The work seems to be very well done, and I would recommend this company.
Description of Work: Removed valley shingles and installed ice & water shield valley underlayment; installed new 25 year CertainTeed shingles at the entire valley; installed new aluminum flashing at the valley bottom. Installed a aluminum rain diverter to divert rain water away from the lower valley.

They scheduled the roof replacement and were on time and ready to work....My roof was replaced in one day and they also repaired some rot on my front porch. I am so pleased with this company. The owner explained everything that was to be done and when. They returned the following few days to add some much needed vents - I feel this service was excellent and it seemed they went above and beyond! We had questions and concerns and they answered the phone right away and were out to help right away. I would highly recommend them to all of my family and friends.

 + -1 moreFrom the start, working with the owner, Jose, was great. He came and gave us a free estimate. He didn't pressure us to buy with them, just told us what options there were and what the price would be. We had an estimate from another company that was almost twice as much, so we went with Chase. Jose has a heavy accent, but he understands English and speaks it just fine. I wasn't worried about him misunderstanding what we wanted. The workers were very polite and arrived as scheduled. They worked very hard in the heat. The job took two days. They were very detail-orientated and added things we didn't even know we should ask for. It looks great and we're very happy with the job they did. I can't say enough good things about them. They took several trips to Home Depot to make sure everything was perfect! They didn't hurt any of our plants along the house. They cleaned EVERYTHING up. You can't even tell they were here. It was a noisy two days, but that's to be expected. I'm already planning our next project with this company.

Did have pictures to show. I really liked that. also caulked around pipe collars and flashing.  + -1 moreThe estimator John showed up right on time as scheduled. After hearing the issue climbed up onto the roof and identified the problem taking pictures for me to see. He also did a quick survey in the house as part of the problem resolution. He wrote an estimate and also indicated they had the singles needed locally and stated a team was in the area he could pull to do the repairs immediately. Within an hour they were back and started the work with no delay. John stayed on site to supervise and they completed the work and cleanup within 45 minutes. Super job and customer service. Will use them again if needed.
Description of Work: Had leak around a ridge dormer due to split singles. They replaced the singles not only on the leaking dormer but also others that would have been a issue shortly. Upon completion they did a complete inspection tapping down nils and chalking them in place to prevent future leaks.

His price was more than competitive for the scope of the work done - I think I've had 6 - 8 quotes in the past 16 months! Roof went on very quickly with no problems. There were some delays with materials that stretched out the vinyl wrap job a bit, but overall I couldn't be happier with the process and the results. Fantastic!
Description of Work: New roof with 30 year shingles, vinyl clad aluminum wrap of all exterior trim (house is brick faced rancher), and added stair rail to front porch.

I was a little disappointed a week after the repair when I still noticed leaking - but they made no excuses and came back the very next day to do additional repairs at no extra cost. Even though extensive storms we haven't had a problem. We plan on using them again later this year to replace the whole roof. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs.
Description of Work: Performed roof inspection and identified where leak was coming from. Came back the next week and made the necessary repairs to prevent future leaks. The week after we noticed more leaking, so he came back at no extra charge and re-inspected and re-repaired the area.

 + -1 moreThey were punctual, provided photos of major issue locations and talked to us about the characteristics of our roof. He brought roof caulk and fixed obvious locations. We were expecting more from the experience. They did not make any firm recommendations, did not go into our attic to inspect the roof from the inside and did not help us with our biggest issue, a leak in our roof. We didn't expect him to fix it, we expected him to look at the issue and make a firm recommendation on what we should do. For the money, we expected a little more before making a large financial decision to possibly replace the roof.
Description of Work: We purchased the $100 Roof tune up and inspection. We were looking for general roof diagnosis and repair of any obvious defects and hopefully some that were not obvious to us.
