We was paid via check in July. The check cleared the same day. As of today we do not have a roof. We have not heard from him. We have called and left messages. I cant get a hold of him.
Description of Work: He was supposed to install a new roof.

You may have the wrong person i did a roof in eden and put a sign up I'm wondering if someone has used my name and said they would do your roof. I have all invoice and paper work everyone signs a document before any payment is made. This is my number 434-334-5087. I thank you for your concern and I am very worried about my name being put out there in a bad way.

Beware of David Childress who operates DC Home Improvements. We paid him $600.00 in advance to buy supplies for a simple job andhe never bought the supplies, never did the work & never returnedthe money. He always comes up with excuses and that he will return the money, buthe has not.

To that response I ordered the supplies needed and it was going to take a few weeks. Everything seemed fine until what I ordered wasn't right. This is the reason I was delaying the job. It wasn't my intention to put the job off or keep anything.I tried making other arrangments to pay it back because I was unable to get money back from supplies spent

They did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone in this area.
Description of Work: I had the deck railings and pickets replaced and they power washed the deck floor and sprayed two coats of stain. The deck is 15'X50'.

It went very well overall.They are very easy to work with and to discuss the project with. They want everything they complete to be right and want the customer to be satisfied. They work by the job not by the hour. We were informed beforehand of anything that would increase the price due to problems encountered once beginning the particular job (our house is over 100 yrs. old and we knew there would probably be issues once some projects were started).They went the extra mile in many ways.
Description of Work: General remodeling including installation of hardwood flooring, plumbing repairs and for installation of faucets and commode, beadboard and wainscoting, interior painting, lighting installation including outdoor lighting, kitchen cabinet installation, ceramic tile flooring, backsplash, porch repairs, ceiling repair, interior door installation, drywalling, removal of carpeting. Excellent to work with including discussing ideas and the best ways to proceed (and, yes, they did walk my dog when I wasn't there in time).
