Alonzo was very prompt and professional. I explained what was needed and he started right away. He work very hard and was very efficient. He was finished in an hour. He walked me around to show me the work and made sure i was satisfied. Outstanding service, will definitely use them again ?

I phoned about 8am on a Monday morning and the answering service called me be back within the hour and told me that they would be there probably be mid to late morning (I was 3rd on the list). showed late mornin Joe was terrific, found the problem right away, explained to me what the problem was and proceeded to fix it. I asked him to check the 2nd toilet and he did. He also explained how much water I would save by replacing the toilets with current models and how much more efficient they were.

The plumber, Moe, arrived on time and repaired all the items that I had requested. We were having a very large event at our house and I needed all the toilets to be working well! On Friday ( the following day) at 3pm, I discovered the main toilet was not working correctly, the inside chain was jamming around the other parts. I called Gene's and was first told that they wouldn't be able to send anyone until the following week, but the person who took the call said she would see what she could do to help us. Within an hour, Moe as back and repaired the toilet ( it needed another new part). I would recommend this company to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Found them on Angie's list, they had all of the services we required. Called. Nice people but they advertise service in Warren County and admitted that it is "only when they are in the area" and could not meet any of the requested dates/times. Their service area description should be more accurate.

We called them for a leak in our shower that was occurring inside the wall. From our call to describe what we needed through the finish we were positively impressed with everybody we dealt with at this company. They responded promptly, politely, and professionally, and the plumber they sent quickly and expertly diagnosed the problem, which thankfully was one that could be quickly and inexpensively repaired. At other times we've used two other local plumbing companies, and both were competent, but based on this experience Gene's plumbing will be our choice for future plumbing work.

A very efficient hour long project; actually it took almost an hour and a half but only charged for one. Very helpful description of what was being discovered with valuable recommendations to correct the issues.

It took several visits by the plumber to figure out what the problem was and what to do about it. After the work finally got started, it went well and seems to have solved the problem. The only problem was they sometimes did not show up when we were expecting them, or came without warning. The final cost was about $200 more than the estimate.

Everything went well. It is working fine. They were very polite and professional. I have used them since for a leak. They were very fast, which was terrific.

Came approximately when scheduled, but didn't call first as requested. Did ok at diagnosing and fixing problems (but this was easy).

He was extremely professional and arrived on time. He also replaced the vanity very quickly and fixed a leak we mentioned to him in the shower at no charge. Great service.

I had used the company one other time in the past. The technicians do fine work, but were under prepared because they did not have a latter. They had to borrow some of my tools. Scheduling is okay in terms of their commitment to be out. They were supposed to be out in the morning, but I needed up being the last appointment of the day. I am not sure I would recommend this company to others, but I would consider using them again.

Was quoted on the phone bare minimum $125 Plumber arrived and cut out the rest of the area where the ceiling was coming down due to the leak He went into the ceiling and determined the cause was not actually a leak, but a broken seal at the base of the toilet upstairs Fixed the seal, leak is gone, and it cost less than quoted :) We intend to call them back for two other plumbing needs in the next week or two (less pressing)

I've used Gene's several times over the past 18 months or so when I've had plumbing needs at a condo that I rent out. Both the office staff and the plumbers are responsive and friendly. The plumbers that I've met from their company have taken the time to discuss the problems with me and explain possible solutions and tips for plumbing maintenance. They are an easy and fair company to work with.

They were good. They were prompt, efficient, pleasant, responsive and seemed very knowledgeable about plumbing.

Called at 08:00 and, although they could not promise service early in the day, said that they would make it out to me sometime in the afternoon. John arrived around 11:00 and was very courteous, and knowledgable. Not having a clue about these things he went about diagnosing the problem (leak in Delta shower mixer unit) to be a simple case of the finish cover plate having a bad gasket. Water had seeped in over the years, had built up deposits of corrosion (green/blue), and started leaking out from the bottom of the cover plate directly below the unit. Very relieved that it is a simple repair and not a major problem. Very thankful for hiring an honest professional. We will call them again!

Long story short ,I waited 3 days for Gene's to evaluate the clogged main sewer drain in my basement. After evaluation, the plumber decided he needed to use an auger to unclog the main sewer drain. Instead of starting the process immediately he informed me that he didn't have an auger on the truck. This unfortunate incident caused me 4 days of shop vacuuming sewage out of my basement simply because he had more pressing jobs that day and it would have taken him over an hour to retrieve the auger and return to my home. He made it clear that it would have been an inconvenience. This caused me to vacuum sewage 4 additional days and caused further water and sewage damage to my finished basement. Four days after the assessment, Gene's Plumbing sent out a different plumber, and he was able to fix the clogged sewer drain that day.

I attempted to use this company, but after a couple of attempts, I couldn't get anyone to respond.

Gene and his team were great. They came and handled the emergency in record time. We have used Gene for all our plumbing needs for many years and based on his history with us, we would never call anyone else.

The plumber was very professional and worked carefully to remove the old sink so that none of the surrounding ceramic tiles were disturbed. I had bought a granite composite sink at a local chain home improvement store because I couldn't find what I was looking for online. The plumber went with me to the store so we could discuss the one that would be best for my needs and ensure the dimensions would fit properly in the existing cutout space. He carefully sealed all connecting parts, as well as the sink to the counter, to ensure that there would be no leak, since that was why I had the sink and faucet replaced. The biggest cost of the project was the high end Delta faucet I had chosen, which accounted for half of the cost. As it turned out, I am very happy with the sink, which will not stain or become dull like the glazed sinks and the price was much better than I could find at the large plumbing showrooms. This company has done work for me before and I was very pleased with them then, as well. Although they were not as quick to meet my needs as they had been several years ago, and I had to call remind them that I was still awaiting an installation date, (they have become so popular that they are in high demand), I will continue to use them as my only plumber. I had also recommended them to several friends recently who told me that they were very pleased with their work, too.

It took a few hours for him to install the piece because we had broken a part. He went to Lowes for us to get a replacement part. He showed us how to clean the filter on both the shower head and already existing shower hose. He cleaned it for us this time and our water pressure has greatly improved in tht bathroom. He seemed apologetic for the cost being so high even though he was just there to install a shower head. Considering he had to go get a replacement part and went above what he was required to do, by showing us some tips to keep our water running smoothly, I'm ok with the price. He cleaned up after himself and was friendly.

This company responded immediately to my call for help after a sewer back up incident. He showed up promptly, gave me an estimate and installed the device all within 2 days. No surprises on the bill. It was just as quoted.

I called Gene's to schedule an estimate on a bathroom renovation job and took a half day off of work so I could be there for them when they arrived at the scheduled time. Nobody from Gene's bothered showing up or calling me to let me know that they would not make the meeting. They did not call on Monday to address the fact that they had completely missed the appointment. When I called them on Tuesday they explained that another job ran late but they'd be happy to reschedule for another date with no recognition of the fact that they had missed the scheduled appointment. I had seen the mostly positive reviews on this site for their service and so it was an extremely disappointing first impression. I am not sure if I will bother rescheduling with them as most contractors are better before they sign the contract than after. Disappointing to say the least.

The company repair rep explained the issues with the new home builder-mounted spigot and promptly replaced the broken unit. The price was quite fair and the quality of the work was excellent. Had the rep not arrived 30 minutes late, the company would have received straight "A"s for this review.

They have done many fine jobs for us over several years. I would highly recommend them.
