+ -1 morePrice is the best. They came to conduct measurement and scheduled for two installer team who showed up on time and finished without any problem. The quote was clear and did not have travel cost that another company quoted. Overall, I am very happy. The only minor blemish is the measurement was conservative around the show bench and they have to use extra chaulking at the edge. I think it is reasonable as I built the bench seat with a bit more sloped downward. I forgot the exact cost but I think it was around 1300- 1500

Description of Work: A good product for the price -IF- you want to do the follow up and quality control yourself. I had to call twice to get someone to talk with me about replacing a broken window. Then I had to call a few days after the salesman came out to the house to get the estimate and called AGAIN the next day, only to be told the window had already been ordered. It was at that time I was given the price, which was actually a little lower than a quote from another company. So I decided to let Woodbridge Glass go ahead and do the work. The installers were right on time and did a good job, BUT the double pane window inside trim was the wrong color and I had to insist they order another. The new window arrived a few days later and was installed without incident. My house is on the market and this was something I did not need to deal with right now. I would consider using them again ONLY if I was not in a rush, and ONLY if theirs was the best price out of at least 3 bids, and ONLY if I was willing to do the follow up myself and make sure what was ordered was what I needed.

+ -1 moreSalesman came out on a friday, measured mirror, wall and door areas, said he would call next monday. Did not. I called several times in the next two weeks and did not get call backs. Finally after three weeks my call was returned, repair date and time was set, service men appeared promptly, efficiently cut the mirror and placed it on door, new mirror was hung and all is well.
Description of Work: Cut down existing wall mirror and mount on back of door. Install new wall mirror.

+ -1 moreI went to major outlet(Lowes and Home Depot) for a frameless shower stall. At the time the prices were high and I could never find anyone in the departments. I found online one major provider http://www.bascoshowerdoor.com/ referred Woodbridge Glass Co as a certified installer. I went and the prices were half the major outlets. The only thing they are not one stop shop. They don't do any repairs once the old unit removed. After third part repair of damage marble. The frameless shower stall was put in. It's beautiful. However, I had issues with the bottom d*** and water coming under the door. I had to go back to Woodbridge Glass Co multiple times but they finally made good.

+ -1 moreAppointment was on March 26, with a promise for an estimate the following day. Called them three days later, and was told I'd hear back shortly. Called them two days after that, and was told, again, that I would get a call back. Made one final attempt four days after that (on a Friday), was passed to someone who may or may not have been a manager, and was promised a response by that Monday. Never heard a thing from them. Wouldn't waste my time with them again.
Description of Work: More like what the provider didn't do. I was seeking bids for a fairly good-sized residential project--a dozen window units for our house. Except for an initial visit from one of their reps, no response or followup--ever--despite repeated phone calls to them.

+ -1 moreCalled company on October 9 to see about someone coming out to give a quote, 3 days later still haven't heard from the company. On the other hand, called White Supply and Glass in Fredericksburg and they came out that very day. Already have a quote less than 24 hrs after they came out.

Even though it took them 2 days to completely rebuild the window, they still only charged me what was quoted when they thought it would only take 1 hour. Window was repaired and looks like it did before.

Description of Work: Had the insulated glass replaced in a garden window. The glass was sent to me by the Softlite Window Co. under warranty so this was not a large order for this company. I called because they were recommended by a local distributor for their work. The office explained the costs in detail ,and set an appointment for 2 days later,saying the rain was supposed to stop by then. gave a 3 hour window for the appointment which in No Va is amazing. Then asked where it was located on the home to be sure that the needed equipment ( ladder ) size was on the truck and all other items for that type of installation. Time frame was 8-11 they arrived at 8:15, checked to make sure the office had explained everything, checked the glass for sizing BEFORE starting as it was sent by the manufacturer directly to me.The work was done ,area cleaned, crew was super. Probably the best home repair experience I have had period.
