They initially had scheduled to do it Friday evening but they had some truck problems and we had to reschedule for Tuesday morning. They were punctual, professional and done within an hour. Curtis was very professional and explained everything he did and his recommendations. They had to install an extra piece, so the total price was $1200.

I found this gentleman off of Angies List, called him but he was in the middle of something and said he would call back. HE CALLED BACK. Came out as soon as he could. Explained my options without trying to over sale. He replaced the unit FAST AND explained in detail what he did. He is curtious, honest, and very efficient. Thank you and I highly recommend.

If you are looking for the cheapest you can quit reading now. For others, it was Sat am Holiday July 4th I discovered that water heater was leaking (and probably had been for week +). I made several calls to Angie List company's. Water Heater LLC said I would have a call back in <30 minutes. I rec'd call 8 minutes later and tech said he could stop by in ~ 2 hours. Since I would be out of town Monday, it was important to get things fixed (a wife and 2 kids w/o hot shower while I am at the Marriott is not a good situation for this dad). Water heater was installed with finish at 10pm Sat night. I felt guilty about tech missing July 4th fireworks but he was great. No shortcuts taken by tech due to Saturday, Holiday, Fireworks. No one else called me back but I did get email from one company advising they were closed for the weekend and I should call Monday. No need as the wife already got her hot shower. I'm good. And so are these guys.

I called in another highly rated contractor to replace a broken water heater, and they refused to do the job because of a code non-compliant flu pipe attached to the water heater. Curtis at Water Heater Services, however, reviewed the pictures I emailed him, made a visit to take a personal look, conferred with other technicians, and developed a solution for the problem. Very prompt, professional, and pleasure to work with. Price was very reasonable too. I would highly recommend.

The experience with Curtis and his company installing a new water heater for my home could not have been better. First class on all accounts. I contacted Water Heater Services on Tuesday to inquire about a new water heater. My existing water heater was still working, but it was getting up there in years, so I was starting to think about replacing it before any problems developed. Did some researching and reading of reviews on Angie's List, and decided to give Water Heater Services a call. Curtis provided great input on what he thought would suit our needs and was able to get us on his schedule for installation the next day. Normally, this is the type of job where I would have called at least several other service providers before deciding whom to use, but Curtis and the reviews on Angie's List instilled so much confidence in me, I just decided to go with Water Heater Services. And, it helped that the price was lower than some of the other "big deals" I was seeing on Angie's List. Curtis and his assistant arrived the next morning and had my new water heater installed in about an hour. Everything went very smoothly. Afterwards, Curtis took time to explain my new water heater to me, including some of the parts he used to connect the water supply lines to the water heater - granted, I'm no plumbing expert, but I got the impression that Curtis really knows his water heaters and does not cut corners on installation. It's only the first day with our new water heater, but it is working great. I really could not be more satisfied at this point.

Mr. Witherspoon definitely knows his business. He found solutions as of course there were some issues with my older house. He explained everything. The emptying and removal of the old water heater and installation of the new one were done very professionally and quickly. I was very pleased with the entire experience from my initial phone call to the end of the installation. I definitely and highly recommend using Water Heater Services.

My water heater stopped producing hot water on a Friday afternoon. I called the water company but they said most likely it was a bad hot water heater and it would have to be replaced. I looked at Angies's list and I called a few companies but no one could repair it or replace it on the weekend. I would have to wait until Monday. I received a quote from one of the companies that I had called but it was extremely high. I was quite discouraged since the prices were exorbitant in my opinion. I called Water Heater Services because it is their specialty. All that they do is repair/replace hot water heaters. I sent in a message via Angie's list to Water Heater Services and I received a phone call immediately as a result of submitting my information through their website. I received the call on Sunday and spoke directly to Mr. Witherspoon. He was very courteous, understanding and willing to work with me to correct my situation as soon as possible. We proceeded to discuss approximate price for a 65 gallon water heater and we also set a date and time for him to show up at my house. He was at my home with the water heater and required equipment to perform the job as we had agreed to on the phone. I cancelled the other appointment that I had made with another company that advertises on tv and does a variety of jobs that include replacing water heaters. Mr. Witherspoon arrived at my home ahead of me since I was at an appointment. He was very thorough in his explanation of what work was required and what actions he would take in order to replace my water heater. He and his assistant moved some items in the basement to make room for the water heater and they did put them back in place. Mr. Witherspoon finished the work in record time and knew exactly the tools and techniques of his trade. He gave me a quick briefing on the new water heater and provided a warranty card. From the start of the work, he was very open and clear as to the cost of the work. There were no hidden charges or jargon that was confusing for me to understand. He was very knowledgeable and it was obvious that he was not interested in providing additional charges because I was not an expert in hot waters. The water heater was operational immediately upon completion of the work. It took only one hour for the hot water to be produced for use. This is a great small business and very customer friendly. Mr. Witherspoon is professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He solved my broken water heater problem and the price was totally reasonable.

They confirmed the work to be done, the final price and then performed the work in less than 2 hours. Curtis the business owner did everything right. Was a good communicator and gave me confidence in his abilities to meet the needs of the job. I chose the company for two reasons, 1) replacing HWH's is their specialty and 2) their pricing was spot on with two others I spoke with providing the same scope. We went through options in advance and came back to the best solution.

I called and spoke with Curtis, he was professional, explained to me my options, and made several recommendations. I found the initial conversation to be an open and honest discussion. He provided me a price over the phone which he honored when he showed up to do the work. Decided to use them and he showed up the next day. Curtis explained to me what he was going to do, what pipes would have to be changed and explained the operations of the water heater. He did a great job, left the site clean, provided me a good price, and was easy to talk to as he worked on the system. I was totally impressed by the price, performance, and professionalism. Curtis is very friendly and professional. He has a solid knowledge of plumbing and water heaters and is always willing to answer questions and assist his customers in any way. He is punctual, and treats a customer's home as if it were his own. I would not hestitate to hire him...he is top notch!

Our almost 20 year old hot water heater broke down on a Sunday. First thing Monday morning, we called the contractor who installed it back in 1995. We were shocked at the price quoted over the phone. We found Water Heater Services on Angie's list . We called and Curtis picked up the phone right away. We gave him the model number of our hot water heater and he quoted a price. He suggested a different model, for the same price, and explained thoroughly why the Bradford White power vent water heater was better. He also explained that, because of the age of the old water heater, we may need a new pressure regulator and some valves might need replacing. We also had to have an expansion tank installed to comply with the new County codes. When he inspected in person, he found that we did need these additional items. He demonstrated that the pressure valve was not working at all and showed us the valves that were stuck and needed replacing. He also referred us to the Fairfax County code stating we needed the expansion tank. We called him about 9am and he made an appointment for 10:30. He and a helper showed up on time and got right to work. We had hot water by lunch time! We highly recommend Water Heater Services without hesitation. Even with the additional valves, gauges, & tank, they were still $500 cheaper than the first contractor we called.

Our water heater died Sunday night. I called Water Heater Services at 8:00 am. They were on their way to there first job of the day, but said they would come to our house around 11:00. They showed up at 11:25 which was great. They would have just replaced the water heater with the upgraded elements, but they found several things with our water line that seemed to need attention. There was no pressure to have the additional work done. However, Curtis explained what replacing the water pressure regulator and adding the expansion tank would do for us. He even offered to let me read the Fairfax County regulations that require an expansion tank. They were done doing all the work in 2 hours. It was wonderful. I couldn't believe they could come in the morning. I was expecting to have it done by evening, at the earliest.

Curtis was prompt,(first appointment of the day) and in a couple hours he had the new tank in. The last time I had the tank replaced it took them all day...so I was very pleased that by 10:30a.m. the job was done! I made my decision to go with Curtis based on the very positive reviews an Angie's List and the fact that all he does is water heaters. His price was less than the other two quotes I obtained and then he also gives a very nice discount to Angie's List members. I would recommend Water Heater Services to anyone needing a new hot water heater.

I contacted Water Heater Services in the morning, reporting intermittent issues with my residential water heater (water was not hot after several hours idle). Curtis called me within 30 minutes to discuss details of the problem, and was at my house ready to replace the water heater just a few hours later. Service was prompt and reasonably priced, and the servicemen were very professional and courteous. They talked me through the work performed, and made sure I was satisfied before signing off.

He attempted to replace an external valve, but because of how the unit was manufactured, the replacement part sent by manufacturer could not be replaced. Provider discussed alternate options for repair and reduced his price when he could not make the specific repair we had requested. He was very knowledgeable, professional, honest and diligent. We were very pleased with the work he did for us and would definitely hire him again.

Our old water heater had a drain valve leak. I called and scheduled the work to be done. The work was professional, fast, and clean. They also did a good job explaining how to maintain the new water heater.

Contacted Water Heater Services and Curtis was at the house within an hour. Within a short period of time Curtis determined that we needed to replace our water heater. Definitely unexpected as our water heater was less than ten (10) years old. I nearly fell off my chair when Curtis provided me an estimate of $1,800.00 but as soon as I did some quick Internet research I figured out that the bulk of the cost was the water heater itself (Bradford White Model M1TW50S6FBN, price $1,100.00). Curtis explained that Bradford White was one of the best water heaters brands on the market today and far exceed my old State water heater. Curtis was extremely professional, explained each step in the process, and even checked the warranty on our old water heater to determine if it was still covered. All this being said, when Curtis came back with the new water heater, he noticed a small cosmetic scratch on the new water heater. He immediately contacted his supplier and was able to get us $100 off the price of the new water heater, which brought the total price of a new water heater and installation down to $1,708.00 (this included a 25% off labor coupon that was available via Angie's List, which he applied without me even asking). The only thing I would be mindful of is that he does charge a $100 service fee for coming out and diagnosing your issue. If you choose to use Curtis, there is no fee as the $100 is put toward his labor and parts. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him again in the future.

I called Water Heater Services and spoke to Curtis. I thought I knew what kind of water tank I needed to replace and Curtis was very professional and asked me to send him an email with all the model numbers and he would' give me a quote. Sure enough. The next day after I emailed him ( emailed him Sat night and had an answer Sunday ) he responded and we emailed and phoned back and forth to setup and appointment. I hadn't actually took possession of the property needing the water tank yet and As soon as I did, I emailed Curtis a photo of the existing tank. Turns out I needed a different tank, but Curtis had already obtained the one I originally requested. No problem. Curtis worked with me to get me the right tank for my installation. I truly appreciated his flexibility and patience. His installation was clean and he took the time to explain the tank and certain aspects of his installation. I would use him again in a second and would recommend him to friends.
