Description of Work: My water heater thermo coupler went bad. I replaced it myself, but after replacing, it did not appear that the pilot light was lit. The technician came and immediately discovered that the light was lit and that I merely needed to turn on the gas and adjust the thermostat.

Description of Work: I used Water Heater Services to replace my failing 50 gallon AO Smith power vent water heater. After receiving estimates from several companies ranging from $1650 to $2400(!!), Water Heater services' estimate of $1800 was in the mid-range. I chose to use them based on their top notch customer service, professionalism, responsiveness, and candor. | After emailing Water Heater Services on Sunday evening, I received a phone call on Monday morning at 7:30am from the owner. He was friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented. After a brief discussion about my situation (leaking water heater), he assessed a replacement was required as opposed to a repair based on the area from where the unit was leaking. He recommended a Bradford White power vent water heater as a replacement, and based on my independent research, I was reassured at the recommendation. | On the day of the installation appointment Water Heater Services called to inform they were finishing up a job and estimated their time of arrival at my house. They arrived right on time, looked at my water heater, and confirmed it needed replacing. They were in and out in an hour, and as someone who works in the trades I can confirm that the work was excellent. They put down tarps to protect our flooring from dirt/debris/water, and took care in the house. Water Heater Services recommends a solder-less compression-type connection to the water supply, which seems to working fine three weeks after installation. | Overall I had an extremely positive experience and I have no reservation recommending this Water Heater Services. Although $1800 is a lot for a water heater, water heaters is all they do... they know their business, and their professionalism and customer service is unparalleled. |

Description of Work: We had no hot water over the weekend and called on Sunday to leave a message to hopefully be first in on their service calendar on Monday. We then called first thing at 7am Monday morning to ensure we could get service and I was told they would call back in a half hour. An hour later they called. We were availble all morning but they could only come between 2 to 4 pm but we had other obligations. We were available after 5pm but that was too late for them. Then was told their offfice was closed for the rest of the week for training in Texas. Who does that? We had another contractor give us a quote to install a new tankless hot water heater the next day and could not be happier.
