It went great. Ryan was prompt and polite. He used tarps to cover the areas he was working in. He explained everything to me and showed me how to light my fireplaces. He answered all my questions.

Wish there was a grade higher than A.- Bill was easy to schedule, arrived promptly and did a fantastic job with this overdue cleaning. He replaced the remote batteries and the "rock wool", cleaned the unit and tested it for leaks and CO2. He was courteous, cleaned everything up and answered my questions clearly and completely. I was so impressed that I arranged for him to come back next year. Highly recommend!

If I could give them a higher rating, I would. It started out well with them accommodating my schedule and only got better from there. Bill came in and serviced and cleaned 3 fireplaces. They came out beautifully with no mess in my house at all. One fireplace needed a new part which he installed and then spent the extra time to “mix and match” the remaining parts I had so that I did not have to buy another set of parts for another fireplace. Very Honest! Price was fair and I will never use anyone else again.

He was very thorough and professional. Both fireplaces were cleaned and tested. He also measured the carbon monoxide levels coming from both systems. He completely cleaned the fake logs and vacuumed all the dust from the gas line areas. Very pleased with the service.

only after a few months use, the film on the glass returned. I used a different company to conduct the same work in January and the glass has remained film free. Noticed the embers were covering the gas vent inside the unit.

I can't say enough good things about Wammoth. Everything from scheduling to service was impeccable. The technician, Bill, was excellent. I have an older gas fireplace that requires manual lighting of the pilot and Bill took time to show me exactly how to operate the controls and explained safety instructions. Due to his thorough cleaning and maintenance, my fireplace works better than ever now.

From the receptionist who took our initial call through the services rendered, this firm did an excellent job. The appointment was scheduled quickly, the rep arrived at precisely the appointed time, the problems were explained well, and although the firm does not do the type of work needed to fix the problem, the rep told me who to call and what the options would be. He even returned my later call to him when I had a question. We highly recommend Wammoth for gas fireplace inspection, cleaning, and repair and will call again when in need of these types of services

Bill arrived on time and did a great job. The place we bought is 10 years old and I am sure the fireplace had never been properly serviced. Wammoth provided the most courteous and professional service i have ever received from a contractor on any project. This is a mom & pop operation whose owner, Bill Watson, is presently the sole representative and servicing agent. I know little about gas fireplaces except that the one that was in my home when I bought it had stopped working. I contracted with Wammoth through Angies List on the assumption that inspecting and cleaning it would also restore it as a working fireplace. It proved to be all of that and more. Bill arrived on time, introduced himself, and went straight to work painstakingly hand cleaning every log, rock, vent line, valve, etc. Throughout his hour and a half of work he explained each detail to me, educating me on every aspect of the operation, including safety considerations and the cost-effectiveness (or lack of same) of every gas heat and fireplace insert option I had ever heard of. He is an exceptionally competent and well-informed gentleman (a term I do not use loosely) with whom I unhesitantly scheduled a follow-on cleaning appointment for a full year out. Ten stars on a scale of five.

I first contacted Wammoth Services through Angies List when I purchased their Gas Fireplace Safety Inspection & Cleaning package. Wammoth contacted me shortly after that to schedule an appointment window. The day before they called to confirm. When the appointment time came, they arrived just as expected and got right to work. The level of detail in the work was great. Great care was taken to control the mess of what is an inherently messy job. When things were done everything was perfectly clean. Equally great care was taken during the work inside the fire place. The previously haphazard arrangement of logs, embers and even burner settings was carefully gone over, cleaned, replaced or adjusted as needed. Also a couple items, like cracks in ceramic logs were pointed out as well for future reference. Overall, top notch work

Great! Bill Mammoth, the owner, arrived on time and immediately got to work after a brief introduction and explanation of what was going on with our fireplace--basically, the pilot light was lit, but the burners would not come on. He put on shoe covers and put down a drop cloth to protect our wooden floors and the cream-colored carpet in front of our fireplace. He was very thorough and methodical in removing the materials and assessing the functionality of our fireplace. He diagnosed the problem as a possible bad solenoid, but also remarked that the batteries could be dead in the receiver. They provided us an estimate for replacing the solenoid, but recommended we check the batteries first. We did, and it worked great! Overall, we were very happy with the service we received and will call on Mammoth again should we need any further service for our gas fireplace.
