Minor adjustments in the installation and the small problems encountered were attended to quickly and simply. |I would recommend them highly. |

Description of Work: TLG Tile remodeled our small but primary bathroom. We had contacted several contractors but TLG won because their cost estimate was within the range of the others, plus they impressed us with their attention to detail (sometimes at their expense). For example, they talked me out of using frameless glass in the shower because it would not make sense in our small bathroom and would be a lot of expense, whereas other contractors made no mention of the rationality of the option and simply agreed with everything I proposed. Also, they proposed moving the vanity and toilet to better suit our goals, which nobody else had suggested. On our initial consult, and the contract visit from Todd, we received a lot of good advice on choosing remodeling options based on the major life change we had coming (new baby). I'm really glad they talked me out of a deep soaking tub as the one we went with instead is plenty deep for a good bath and doesn't break my back leaning over it to wash the baby. They also suggested replacing the wood window frame with tile, since the window is in the shower and was rotting with the moisture. Another contractor had told me "we don't do windows". | |We decided to choose our new bathroom items through TLG, except for the items they don't carry (light fixture, knobs, etc). Everything we chose through their service is top notch. The vanity and medicine cabinet are much better quality, and more usable, than the ones replaced. Todd even suggested replacing the rusted/painted over door hinges with new ones. The old solid wood door looks spiffy now. One thing I regret: I wish we'd added a timer to the ceiling fan, because it is so quiet we forget that it's on. | |We spent a morning at their showroom choosing tile and granite with the assistance of Todd's wife, who has a remarkable eye. This is a true family business. TJ did the initial consult, Todd wrote the contract, his wife guided us through our showroom choices, and his other son was on site doing the work (with several other people). I was only home one day of the project but Todd was on site that day as promised to check on the work. The workers cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and kept their supplies tidily out of our way. Their tiling job is beautiful. They called several weeks in advance of the work date to let us know that the granite we had chosen looked different from the actual, and we were able to visit the granite place to choose a new piece. We have had so many compliments on our new bathroom. | |They estimated a week to complete the work, and it was done on time, even with one minor issue that was resolved promptly and professionally. We had agreed upon two shower niches and when the shower tile was laid the niches were initially absent. I called when I noticed and the niches were completed the next day. The guys worked hard to finish on time, and we are so pleased with the result. We will definitely hire TLG Tile when we renovate our kitchen!

Description of Work: 1. Completely remodeled our master bathroom, including installing a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, new tile floors and walls, new double sink vanity, granite countertops, new toilet, all new fixtures, and painted entire bathroom. The work is breathtakingly beautiful. Todd designed it for us, gave us great advice. Walk-in shower glass is frameless, which gives the whole bathroom an updated, sleek look. Highest quality workmanship, and all work guaranteed. Several months later, Todd's crew came back to reset a couple of tiles that were missing some grout. Perfect repair job at no cost to us. 2. Tiled walls in our hallway where our dogs spend a great deal of time. Added crown molding. Excellent work, reasonably priced. The hallway is gorgeous now and easy to keep clean. 3. Designed and installed floor to ceiling cabinets and bookshelves in our loft. Turned it into a gorgeous office space. Added recessed lights and included granite counter tops. This is a huge space. Highest quality workmanship, reasonably priced. We recently had our house appraised, and the appraiser said this work increased the market value of our home by about $55,000.00. We're getting ready to hire TLG again to remodel our remaining 2 bathrooms and do some additional remodeling. We swear by this company.

Description of Work: I called three contractors who were well reviewed on Angie's List for our master bath remodel. It is a very large space with extensive tile work. We also wanted a jetted Jacuzzi tub to replace the soaking tub, new toilets for each of our 3 bathrooms and a bit of lighting work. Todd Gilbert was unique in that he has his own showroom that is extremely well supplied. The other two contractors referred us to outside vendors that were not conveniently located. TLG's estimate was the lowest which made me a little apprehensive but Todd's clear record and superb showroom gave us confidence. Todd and his wife made it very easy to pick out our tile and fixtures. Their workmen were always on time, polite and kept the work area cleaned up at the end of the day. They worked much longer days than I would have anticipated. They were adept at trouble shooting when a couple of problems arose. Todd came by every day to make certain we were happy with the progress. There were only three very minor items on the punch list when the project was finished. The new master bath is an extraordinary space now and is a real showplace.

Description of Work: We have contracted with TLG, on two separate occasions, to remodel two bathrooms. Todd Gilbert is his own best salesman and the clients best critic-all at the same time. The crews are expert, arrive on time and got the work done on schedule. There were some minor issues. Todd not only took care of everything, but he discovered some problems that we had not noticed, and had them fixed. If you want high quality products and craftsmanship, then TLG should be your choice. We are already working with Todd to return to remodel our kitchen.

Description of Work: He did a complete tear-out bathroom remodel for me.

Description of Work: Master bath remodeling - gutted the shower and replaced the old 4-inch square white tiles with beautiful ceramic tile, floor to ceiling. Removed a tiled bench that took up about 1/3 of the shower and replaced it with a less obtrusive corner seat, essentially enlarging the shower. Relocated the drain to the new mid point of the shower, replacing the old plastic looking drain with a much nicer chrome one. Replaced the shower floor pan with smaller coordinating, multi-colored tiles. Added two corner shelves and a beautiful chrome dual shower head with multi-function hand held and fixed heads. Finished the shower off with a new semi-frameless shower door. Replaced the subflooring and floor tile in the shower/toilet area. Replaced the same white tile around the large soaking tub in the vanity area. A new vessel sink and waterfall faucet was installed in a downstairs powder room.

Description of Work: Our 3-year old condo had a leaking jacuzzi tub with a ceramic tile enclosure. TLG Tile removed the tub and replaced it with a non-jacuzzi tub of the same size. They had to remove a few pieces of ceramic tile, which had been discontinued by the manufacturer for several years. They were able to find a couple boxes that matched, so we did not have the added expense of replacing all of the tile too!

Description of Work: Removed old linoleum kitchen flooring (2 layers), installed new fiber rock subfloor, and overlaid with new porcelain tile. Removed and replaced kitchen perimeter shoe molding and replaced thresholds and transitions to other room surfaces.

Description of Work: I contracted with TLG Tile Inc. for a complete remodeling of my master bathroom. This included removal/replacement of the existing tiled floor and walls, toilet, vanity, sink and medicine cabinet, plumbing and lighting fixtures, and accessories. In addition, the existing bathtub was removed and replaced with a fully tiled walk-in shower with sliding glass doors.

Description of Work: TLG remodeled my two full bathrooms. In the basement bathroom, they put in a new stand-up shower, new floor, toilet and transferred the pedestal sink from upstairs and installed it downstairs. In the upstairs bathroom they replace the sink/cabinet, installed a toilet topper cabinet and new toilet.
