Everything went better than expected. The schedulers were super sweet and sympathetic to my unique needs (potential animal removal) and the on-site lead technician, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining all the issues associated with the work required. Lucky for the animal, the removal service was not required. Awesome team. I highly recommend!

Prompt, started and completed when stated. Went above and beyond by putting up tenting above the scaffolding so they could work in rain and keep whole side of the house and roof dry. Friendly, proffessional workers. Pricing was very competive.

Employee did not cover windows or shrubbery. Both were damaged. Chimney doctor made it worse by scraping window glass in attempt to remove the film. It ended up looking like vandalism. The company admitted their responsibility but never provided financial compensation. Beware!!! If it goes wrong you will end up paying for it yourself.

We needed to have our chimney replaced from the roof up, including a new liner. The bricks were matched perfectly to the house and the job was completed quickly. We were selling our house and needed the work done before photos and the Chimney Doctor was wonderful in meeting our deadline, skipping a day when the movers where coming, and completing the job on time.

The team did excellent work. On time. Cleaned up. Found cost-effective solutions. Easy to work with.

We had to get a chimney liner installed and also needed a partial rebuild of the chimney. They did a very good job repairing the chimney and the work was performed quickly and on schedule. It was a costly repair, but necessary on our home that is 50 years old. The hardest part was finding a match for the bricks since they were so old. They worked with us to provide several samples and the final result was a very good match. We had a few estimates for the work and their price was very fair compared to others. We would use them again.

I was called in advance to let me know of the technician's arrival time. The gentleman that came to our house was very professional, and took care of matters quickly and efficiently, let me know about some issues from his inspection, and even took photos so I could see what he was indicating. He gave me an estimate for some repair work that we should have performed and gave me the option to have it performed right then. Very helpful!

Crew was usually early - were extremely careful not to damage outside plants or dirty the house inside. Very professional job - during initial visit and estimate, explained all aspects of what they would do and then did it as promised - both time wise and cost.

We had a good experience with them. The priced seemed fine, it didn’t seem outrageous. I thought they did a great job. We had tried to put a damper on before and other places had told us they couldn’t do it because of the configuration. These guys figured out how to do it. They were creative. I thought they did excellent work and were very easy to work with.

To date it has gone well, I am waiting for a return call to check on one item.

Great. They arrived early and were cautious in their work to minimize the mess or damage to the home.

Long story short I called them out to get a cleaning estimate on my fireplace. They gave me a $6k estimate to reline and re-tile 2 flues. Had 3 other people come out including one person I knew and trusted and they all said the tiles were fine but the oil flue needed relining. That's it. A cleaning and a liner all for $1600 which included a cap. Chimney Doc even charged for the cap. Shame on you.

This is a fantastic company! I am so glad i picked them. I watched the two men, led by Robert, get after it immediately upon arrival. They were clearly competent and efficient. They did a top to bottom clean-up of my chimney, then Robert showed me some pictures of deficiencies in my chimney cap. I authorized them to repair it and they immediately resolved the issues. Clean-up was excellent and I will definitely be recommending this company to my friends and neighbors. Awesome experience!

I am a detail-oriented person and they were responsive to my detailed requests. Their estimate and recommendations were considerably more extensive and therefore expensive in total than the other companies I interviewed, but I felt the other companies wanted to do a smaller job and not really be aggressive enough in ripping out the water-damaged masonry. I feel I made the right choice in paying more for a better job; for one thing, after demolition, Chimney Doctors found a very dangerous hole in my old flue liner well below the area that the other companies thought was OK to leave as is. The masonry crew worked incredibly hard under a blaring sun for about five days so I hope their boss appreciates their work, too.

The work went well, but my review reflects some miscommunication and poor communication between the company and myself, with fault on both sides. The Chimney Doctor's were very responsive when I called for a second opinion on some chimney repairs. They came out quickly and thoroughly inspected my chimney, independently confirming the amount of repairs and quoting a very competitive rate. When we paid the deposit we were told they had a 3 week delay and would call in 3 weeks to schedule. They agreed to try and schedule weekday inside work on a day I am typically home. Three and a half weeks later they called back to say they STILL had 18 days of masonry work ahead of us. Then I missed a call attempting to schedule work, so they moved on to the next job. I called back to get in their schedule, and I understood they would start the following week. When I called on the day we'd discussed they would do the inside work, they told me they hadn't finished the previous job in time to do the outside work at my house, so I was skipped again, and it would be 2 more weeks (it's now been 2 months since we paid the deposit). When I expressed my frustration they were able to rearrange their schedule and accommodate us sooner. So the first two days of work began and went well. Then, they did not show up in the pre-arranged time window for the inside work. My husband called and was told they were on their way, so he continued to wait for them. When the window passed, he called and indicated he had to run an errand and agreed with the office on a new time. Then 30 min later, while he was out, the team called to say they were at our house. Frustrating for both sides. All in all, it is quality work and we are pleased with the company. Just wish we'd had better communication through the process and less delay. Nevertheless, I recommend them.

Quote was best of 3 by a lot. More than half as much of 1 of the other quotes that basically were identical scopes. They explained what we needed well and were easy to schedule and work with throughout the process. Definitely had a good experience.

The estimator was on time and very professional. He took pictures of the top of the chimney so I could see the full extent of the rust and damage I was dealing with. When contacting the office to schedule the repair, I found them to be very responsive and able to accommodate my schedule. Most importantly, they took "after" photos so I was able to see the finished work without having to climb on my roof.

Excellent experience. From the owner to the office staff to the crew, this company has their business in order and they provide great service at a fair price. I had the work done in the summer and it has held up very well. We used to get water in our firebox during rains and the chimney was very drafty. A new crown and liner solved our issues, and the removal and replacement of spalled bricks make our chimney look new again. We just enjoyed our first fire-- the work was worth every penny.

Hired The Chimney Doctor Nova Inc for the 3rd year in a row. Victor came out on Oct 14, 2016 with an assistant to clean and inspect my chimney. Services were completed. On Nov 7, 2016 I used my fireplace for the 2nd time in the morning and a chimney fire occurred. If a proper cleaning would have been completed I am 100% sure this would not have happened. My husband phoned the The Chimney Doctor Nova on 7 Nov 2016 and spoke with Elizabeth and explained what had happened. She answered the phone from her home and told my husband she didnt know when she would be in the office to be able to send someone out to complete what they didnt do the first time they came out. Elizabeth proceeded to yell at my husband because he was wanting a time someone could come out. I will never use this company again. I am lucky there was not real damage done to my home. I will make my homeowners association aware of what happened with the company to ensure my neighbors dont us this company and have this happened to them. Customers beware. The pictures attached were taken 2 hrs after the chimney fire occurred, and taken directly up from the firebox. As you can see from the them there is a significant build up of creosote, this build up does not occur after two fires which is number we have built after our inspection and supposed cleaning. "The inspection includes the fire box, flue and exterior of the chimney. The inspection of the chimney flue is critical as this is where chimney fires originate due to the build up of creosote." Everything went extremely well! We were going through natural gas conversion from an oil furnace and had to get the chimney relined and inspected. Elizabeth was super helpful and even went out of her way to speak to our natural gas contractor for some permit coordination. She understood we had a strict timeline and worked out the scheduling so that Victor and his crew came as soon as possible for the work. The technicians were punctual and very professional. They did a great job cleaning up the workspace after the job was complete. The stainless steel lining came with a warranty and a maintenance schedule for the next 10 years. We're not familiar with the brand but the warranty is through M-Flex and is for 25 years. Mailed in shortly after install. This was our first time dealing with a chimney and the whole experience with the Chimney Doctor was very educating and we will definitely go with them again for our annual cleaning. We really appreciate their patience, especially Elizabeth and Victor who had to answer all our newbie questions.

It was a difficult job because of the narrow dimensions of the chimney, but they did an excellent job of repairing the damage and installing new stove pipes. They also had to remove and replace brickwork.

Very well. They matched up the color of my brick exactly. Great communication with Elizabeth-she always kept me informed of when the crew was coming and what they were going to do (project required several steps which could not be done in one visit). I am happy with their work and would use them again and I would also recommend them.
