Description of Work: We had recently had our chimney cleaned by another company and they had given us a recommendation for some repairs that needed to be made. We wanted to get a few other estimates. However, I was unable to find any companies that would do free estimates. So we found Sixpenny which had a very reasonable offer through Angie's list for a $39 consultation. They were very professional, clean, and very thorough. The recommended basically the very same repairs at similar prices, which was a good sign. Unfortunately, Sixpenny did not recommend relining the flue for the furnace only the chimney. Their service and professionalism was first rate. Their price fell right in the middle. However, the other two companies had recommended that both liners be done. Based on the age of the house, and perhaps a feeling of extra caution, we opted to go with the majority and do both linings at the same time. So ultimately we did not go with Sixpenny for our relining repairs, but we would still recommend them highly.

Description of Work: The work was done very professionally and they were very tidy. The only complaint was that they came out and gave an estimate, then came back after work began and said that an additional $1,000 of work was necessary to do the job. Bricks dont match exactly but I'm not sure that was possible.
