On time and structured. A team of two came and had a game plan on how to do this within the 2 hour period. At the end they walked through all areas and vacuumed behind their work.

I have no idea as I can't get on the roof to check the work. However, only one man came and he left after ten minutes.

The chimney for both our wood burning fireplaces were done properly and then the technician did inspection and also explained us the stuff found in inspection. Job done nicely.

Technician showed up on time, was pleasant, knew his job, and completed the work in less than an hour. I am a satisfied customer.

I live in a townhouse and do not own a ladder, so I am unable to see the finished product. I will say this, we scheduled the service for a specific day, and they rescheduled to the next day because that particular morning was too cold. They ended up rescheduling until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but the service ended not being performed until the Friday after Thanksgiving. We were not in town that week but had a notification letter on our door when we came home that it had been completed then. I am happy with the service from what I could tell and the day it was performed is not a big deal, but I am a stickler for punctuality and things getting done when we requested them to be. For this reason, their overall service is being graded as a B.

Tech was within their arrival window, did the job quickly but well, and gave us useful information. Thank you!

Great! Worrel called and told us he was coming 30 minutes ahead. He arrived at the appointed time and did a quick ground visual and let us know the estimate and what he planned doing.. After he finished cleaning the gutters, reported what he had done and had found [including a birds nest] during the cleaning and inspection. including further non-emergency work and an estimate for that work. He worked quickly and thoroughly took and several photos of the current work and needed work areas..

The guy came out right away. The reason they came out was because we were selling our house. The man came out and left the review of the chimney estimate out on the counter. He wouldn't have known this, but the buyer's agent came in later that day and was able to see it, they used that in negotiation against me. My realtor was quite upset that the other side had the information before we did, as we paid for it. We expected the estimate to come in through the mail. He estimated four or five thousands in work; we were on the phone with someone else who was an actual mason and said the guy was basically a chimney sweep on steroids who had no idea what he was talking about and that the actual work would only cost around sixteen hundred dollars. The mason went out and gave us an inspection/review for free. I explained these facts to Angie's List, and they apologized and gave us our money back. I think they did a good job resolving an issue with me. If you're going to pay for estimate, the price is okay. But most masons would come out to give an estimate to free, so I'm not sure why you'd have to pay. I would absolutely not use them again in the future.

I was very pleased. The guys were very good. Their work was complete. I thought they did a very good job. They went out of their way to do a little extra for me trying to get some stains off. I was happy with them.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for stainless steel chimney cap. Within seconds of my purchase, the manager called to be sure that I understood that the chimney cap in the deal was only for brick fireplaces--not the siding fireplace on my home. I appreciated him being proactive and said that I would like to have them come and give me an estimate for the type of cap I needed, which he said could run $1,000. I scheduled my appointment two weeks out. Yesterday I received a call confirming my appointment for today between 8 and 12. At 10:30 I got a call saying they were running late because the technician was stuck on another job. I explained that I had an appointment at 1 so needed them here as close to 12 as possible. The gal told me she would call me back at 11:30 with an ETA. By 12:15, no call and no estimator at my house, I called her and she said she couldn't reach the technician, so she offered to reschedule. I said I wanted my Angie's list deal refunded because I'd find a more reliable company to work with. She told me I would have to handle that via Angie's List myself. So--1. The coupon was a bait and switch; they don't honor service windows; they don't even return calls as promised; and they don't make refunds when they fail to show. What I really don't understand is why they don't do the estimates first thing I the morning. The time required for an estimate is predictable. So, I have now wasted my morning and I may miss the deadline my HOA gave me to make the repair because I wasted time with this company, Not happy.

We purchased a deal they had going on Angie's List for Chimney Sweep and Inspection -- Plus Dryer Vent Cleaning for $198. The appointment went great. Dennis was the technician that was sent out. He arrived on time and we appreciate his hard work. We had a few questions about the what he was doing and he was happy to answer the questions. He removed an unbelievable amount of lint from the dryer vent that we didn't know was there. We'll definitely use Sixpenny Chimney Sweeps for any future work that needs to be done.

Very well. Quick response, good price, good technician. He even identified some masonry problems i need to get fixed on Chimney. I will be calling them back.

They did an ok job. But, one of the gutters remained completely clogged. I noticed after the the first rain... It seems they did not do a thorough job of checking each gutter. I emailed them about this problem but they did not respond.

Excellently. The workman arrived ahead of time and pulled a bucketful of debris out of the front and back gutters of my townhouse. He also spotted cracks in my chimney crown that needed fixing. When he was finished, he poured a huge bucket of water along both gutters to make sure the gutters and downspouts were working properly.
