The man who came out was good. He showed up when he said that he would and gave a very clear and accurate estimate. He had a fixed price and there were no surprises. The work was good and I was very happy. I will use him again and refer him to someone who needs the service.

It went great! Wow, the guy knows his stuff. He is a true professional.

Mr. Roth installed a new exhaust fan in the bathroom, reseated the toilet, and installed a ceiling fan in the bedroom. All of this in one day and left the work areas neat and clean. Mr. Roth was extremely personable, professional, and knowledgeable! His installation of the ceiling fan was amazing, I say that, as he had to identify a power source for running the cable to the ceiling location, without causing too much wall damage, he explained all the options for powering the ceiling fan, switch, no-switch, how many holes would be made in the wall to run wiring, which by the way, was neatly patched! He doesn't paint, and he'll tell you up front, I don't blame him, I hate to paint myself, but I don't mind touching up after the great patchwork he left behind! He did an excellent job on the exhaust fan, the old one came out, he had to cut some ceiling out, but better he than I, his cuts were minimal and also patched nicely. He removed the toilet, removed the wax ring, noted that the toilet was just off enough to not sit flat with the ring gone, possibly the cast iron drain fitting or the floor itself, he outlined options, removing the fitting was not a good option, so we agreed shimming the toilet and recaulking was the sensable option. He replaced the old bolts and covers. caulked around the toilet. The molding installation was very nicely done! It looks great. Prior to leaving, he made sure I had the instructions for the exhaust fan and the ceiling fan with the related warranties for my files. He cleaned up, we went over all the work and closed out. Mr. Roth is an excellent "Handyman". We spoke on other work we have int he wings and I certainly will bring him in for more projects.

He gave an estimate by phone and asked good questions in order to understand the job. He also was able to give an appointment day/time without a long wait. Unfortunately, when he came to install, it was noticed that a part was missing. Although this was not our fault, the store we bought the door from made a mistake, I'm sure this was very inconvenient for him but he was willing to come back out on another day once we received the part and he didn't charge us extra when he did. He did a great job on the shower door. It looks professional and it is properly sealed as there have been no leaks. Would definitely rehire for future projects.

Mr. Roth was courteous, prompt, competent, fair in his pricing, and pleasant. His work was done well, and he cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to others. He described ahead of time the work to be done and made sure that I understood all of the details.

Mr. Roth arrived earlier than stated, was very friendly and extremely professional. He spent an hour or so examining our home and preparing estimates for the work we needed. He was quick and efficient and always courteous. He will be returning on the 8th to perform the agreed upon work and I am looking forward to it.

First, three words can describe Roths Handyman service, "Class, competency, and candor." Mr. Roths' work was OUTSTANDING in every aspect! This job of checking and repairing a couple of flood lights was fairly routine, but I was very impressed by his attitude and speed during the job. Mr Roth did many small handyman jobs for us. He responded to my email within a few hours, gave us a free estimate and then finished all the tasks to our complete satisfaction. He provided us with an estimate of the work and followed up with a phone call. Mr. Roth was very prompt in responding to my emails and voicemails. We had decided to remove the three lower rows of tiles in our shower and replace them before re-grouting. We already had purchased a box of the right size tiles to replace the older ones with. Upon removing some tiles out of a corner, we found water damage in the back board in a lower corner. Some of it had completely crumbled away. We decided we need more help and advice, since we were uncertain if the whole wall board needed to be replaced or if a patch would work. After reading all the good reviews for him here on Angie's List, we contacted Mr. Roth through his web site and he called us back the next day. We made an appointment for the estimate, and he arrived promptly. He was more than helpful. He answered a lot of questions for us, and there was never any pressure over adding to the work we wanted him to do or what work we wanted to finish ourselves. While we could have tackled the project ourselves, (and hoped we did it right!) the savings in time and having someone with experience do the actual patch and set the tiles was well worth the cost. We chose to re-grout and re-caulk ourselves, and Mr. Roth had no problem with that at all. He was very encouraging about us being as 'hands on' about the project as we felt comfortable with. We agreed on the price and the repair work, and got a nicely written estimate. He was able to come back the next day and do the repair. He was quick and efficient and left the area very clean. He encouraged us to call his office if we had any further questions. Mr. Roth is very easy to work with, was very good about sharing his knowledge with us. We're are very happy to have someone to call when we need further help on projects that we're not comfortable about doing ourselves.

Larry was a real pleasure to work with. He is friendly and professional and there were no surprises during each phase of the above projects. He was always punctual and his price was fair. He recommended a painter who also did an outstanding job. Larry's final product has helped transform our family room into a much more appealing living area. The beautifully crafted built-in bookshelves and fireplace/mantle wood surrounds bring more "warmth" to the room. sinDuring the estimate, he took his time in explaining exactly what he was going to do and made sure I understood his concepts. His estimate was better then at least two others. When he thought there may be some issues, he identified them up-front and we agreed to a solution or at least we agreed that we understood and accepted the issues/concerns. He arrived on time and did the work satisfactory. If he ran into a issue we did not discuss, he called me prior to continuing the work, especially if it involved additional money. He was very professional and respectable. After the work was completed, we inspected it together and he provided additional comments as to exactly what he had to do to accomplish the task.
