He was on time and that helped. He seemed to be more inclined to help me understand some of the difficult things and making sure that I didn't have to repaint. He was trying to find all sorts of ways of doing things. I felt that he was a little busy and rushed. He has been in the business for a long time. He was very responsive.

I wanted to remodel an old bathroom on my first floor. Mr. Roth came over to do an estimate on the same day I called. I asked Mr. Roth what I would need, and he provided me a general list. I ordered a vanity, granite top with sink, mirror, light set for over the mirror, sink faucet, shower and tub trim, and a new rough-in valve for the shower and tub system. Within two days after my last item arrived, Mr. Roth was able to come over to do the work on the day I wanted. He had to tear out the old vanity, make an access opening from a wall to the rear of the shower/tub enclosure (one piece), remove the old valve for the shower/tub, remove the old lighting system, and remove all the old switches. He then re-plumbed the shower/tub , added the new trim set, and closed the access hole with a plywood panel that can be removed easily if needed in the future. He then installed the new vanity along with its granite top and sink, re-plumbed the new faucet and drain. He re-installed a new GFIC that had to be moved and reinstalled at a higher location. He installed the mirror. He then installed and wired a new light set. He finished up by installing the shower rod, towel racks, and robe hooks. All of this went smoothy with only minor unforeseen glitches that were solved quickly and professionally.

We have used Mr. Rothman on several occasions. His carpentry work is especially skillful. He repaired a wood front porch column that looked good as new. He suggested a change to the original requested custom bathroom inset shelving unit that we are very satisfied with. He is a very professional craftsman. He works efficiently and will provide estimates. He works to be sure that the customer is satisfied. Finished job area will be as clean or cleaner than started. If necessary, will come back to make adjustments without additional charges.

they came for the estimate and then shrtly after came to do the job which was all completed in 1 visit.

My boyfriend called Mr. Roth and left a message and he called back within a day. He came to give us an estimate and was very professional. We had scheduled a day for the repairs but had to reschedule, and that was done with no problem. On the day of the job he was a little late but it was raining and the traffic was bad, and he called to let us know he was running late. He was professional and polite and did a good job. We will use him again for handyman services.

Mr. Roth cut the door to the correct size (to match the other one) and replaced bottom wood of my hollow bi-fold door and re-installed door. He ensured that the doors were in good working order. Mr. Roth did an excellent job and we are very pleased with his work.

Mr. Roth arrived on time. He cut the dry wall in three areas to determine where the vent was not connected. He explained everything to me and he determine the disconnection was not as bad as he first thought. He explain how he planned to repair the connection and when he finished he showed me what he did. He then closed the dry wall and cleaned up the work area before he was paid. He did a great job and I would use him again.

He was prompt, professional, trustworthy, responsive to our concerns, and had good advice on how to prioritize and approach problems. We would be happy to hire him again. This was our first experience hiring from Angie's List, and we were very pleased.

Mr. Roth responded promptly to phone messages. He arrived promptly both for the appointment to make estimates and on the day scheduled to do the work. He gave very clear and detailed estimates for the work, and then did exactly what he said he would do. He offered a creative solution to our broken Lazy Susan; since we could not find a replacement for our model, he suggested replacing the broken shelf with plywood that he cut to make a perfect fit. Now the shelf is stronger than ever and we are so relieved to have our storage space back. Also, when he tried to replace the brass faucet in our powder room, he warned me that an interior element was rusted so that twisting the faucet handle might result in breakage. I gave him the go ahead, and indeed it did break. But he discussed the problem by phone with the faucet company, and his explanation helped convince them to send all new replacement parts for free. Throughout Mr. Roth was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, articulate, and businesslike. Over the years, I had tried numerous times to find a handyman. Many never returned my phone calls; some offered to come out and give estimates but then never showed up; others came out and gave estimates but then didn't show up on the appointed day and didn't return phone calls. So my wife and I are thrilled to have finally found someone who can take care of repairs to our house when needed.

Job was done in a professional manner. Wood was primed before it was installed allowing for easy painting. Woodwork was professional, job was started and completed on time and there were no changes to initial estimate. Work exceeded my expectations.

Roth from Roth?s Handyman Service Company is very professional. He is very upfront with what needed to be done and what he was going to charge for it. What he charged us and what he had estimated before the work started was the same. He did a good job. I would use him in the future and I would also recommend him to others, for handyman services. The quality of his work is good. I had contacted other handyman companies in the area for this work and I thought Roth?s price was the most competitive.

The interaction went fine. He seems like a really nice person. I thought he did a good job. He had to come twice. I found the second leak after he had left. I called and he was able to come back early the next day. The first leak was fixed by simply tightening the valve and he fixed it in about 2 minutes so he only charged me $20 and did not charge a service call. The second was more complicated so I was charged a service charge then. I thought the price was reasonable, considering everyone charges like that. I think anyone else would have charged me the service charge for the 1st easy issue.

We have Mr. Roth all the time. He is always excellent and top of the line. He'll do the job right and if he doesn't he'll fix it right away without any charges. He is extremely meticulous.

He asked lots of questions just to make sure he understood the scope of work. He did a beautiful job. Love it...

We had a short deadline. Mr. Roth was able to complete the job even though we were not there to supervise. He did exactly what we agreed to and the work he did was exactly what we requested. I would use Mr. Roth again for other handyman service needs.

Area prep was excellent. Installation of material excellent. Area clean up was excellent. Mr. Roth gives the customer a complete understanding of what work will be performed prior to start. The cost of the work is clearly written out on the estimate and explained in detail. I have used his service twice and plan to use him again in the future.

Mr. Roth did notify me the day before that he may be arriving about 30 min late from the agreed start time, which wasn't a problem with my schedule. He arrived well prepared for the work, and went through the list of projects and the estimate with me again before he began. He has his projects well planned, and clearly explained how he was going about his repairs. He informed me if he had to deviate from his original project plan and explained his workaround before proceeding. Mr. Roth told me that he would treat my home as if it were his own, and he was true to his word. He made sure everything worked to my satisfaction, and the cleanup was on target. I would recommend his service to others.

Went very well. He told me the cost before coming out. He brought the necessary fan, motor, and other parts with him, and completed the job in less than an hour in a single visit. No pre-visit for estimate needed. He's done it hundreds of times over 23 years and knows exactly what he is doing.

I picked him from Angieslist because he had lot of good ratings. He seemed extremely honest and helpful in giving me feedback over the phone. He even gave me his email address to send some pictures to him so that he can look at those and give his feedback. He returned my phone call promptly. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining the pros and cons.

It took a little more time than expected, because he had to trim the molding for the door, but he did not try to raise the price because there was a little more labor involved then he had estimated.

I am satisfied, as I have used them multiple times.

Mr. Roth was very professional and courteous and was very amenable to doing even the smallest jobs (which I have neither the time nor talent to do properly). He was also very helpful in suggesting ways I can save $ and trouble in the future through proper maintenance, etc. I am already making a list of all the things I need done around the house and will definitley be contacting him again in the near future for some additional help.
