Installation of bamboo on first level (livingroom/diningroom) and 3 stairs in foyer (treads, risers, stairnose). Also stairnose was installed on step that separate living/dining rooms. The job was done in one day with the exception of the installation of transition at kitchen doorway. The workers were not neat. I have glue, colored puddy and stains on my floors. Also, the stairnose that separate the two rooms wasn't installed neatly. The bamboo wasn't cut properly. The workers did not protect the completed areas as they work . Also, the workers didn't cover the bottom of their shoes to avoid tracking from walking outside. Geovanni is returning this coming Saturday to complete job and reinstall bamboo where stains are located . He was at my home yesterday 9-7-14 to finish the job but he didn't have the correct transition (the color wasn't right). Geovanni appears to be committed to correcting the mistakes that were made. Unfortunately, to reinstall wood in certain areas, I have to use some of the wood that I have for my second level. Also, I had to order two additional stairnose from lumber Liquidators because he has o replace that too. NOTE: The brand that I'm using had discontinued. Lumber Liquidators had two stairnose in stock. Geovanni agreed to pay for the cost. Also, he was not on time Saturday or Sunday. Saturday he arrived 2 hrs, after appt. time. Sunday he arrived 3 hrs after appt. time, with no notice. He is a nice person but I think he needs to pay attention to details and his workers. He left the scene of the job, for at least two hours.

David and Geovanni are very professional. Their prices are great compared to most in Northern Virginia and went beyond the normal 80% quality I associate with most Northern Virginia contractors. They showed up on time, installed the hardwood in a professional manner, and did an OK job of cleaning up afterward. I had them remove and reinstall the base moulding and they did an excellent job of reinstalling. I wish they had paid a little more attention to detail on the stairs - they the gaps unfilled where they had to remove the lip of the previously installed stair tread. I was painting the stairs afterward anyway so it really didn't bother me that much. They followed up after about two weeks to make sure everything was going well. I have recommended them to several friends and they have done a good job by all of them.
Description of Work: David and Geovanni Berrios installed approximately 500 square feet of 5 inch Brazilian Walnut hardwood floors I purchased through Lumber Liquidators. They also installed a Gunstock colored wood (possibly Bruce) on a staircase that had previously been carpeted.
