Fantastic! I cannot recommend this company enough. Jose showed up on time, had an incredible work ethic, put in a full days work every day -- even in the heat of a Virginia summer, was meticulous and the final product is beautiful. Bryan gave us a fair estimate and explained everything that was included. He also came and did a final inspection and met with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything that was done besides checking in a couple of times throughout the process to make sure all was going well.

We have used Professional Painting on at least six different occasions, and this most recent experience was just as exceptional as those in the past. I started using Professional Painting approximately 2 years ago. I emailed Bryan and he responded back within a few hours and scheduled the estimate. He provided me a written estimate wtihin 24 hours of his visit to my home. When I awarded him the project he gave me a rough estimate of the week of my job. As the day of his ETA drew closer he touched base again to give me a firm date. As that day grew closer he reached out again to tell me the time of his arrival as well as get my paint choice colors. The day of the project Bryan showed up with his crew so that he can go over the project with you and his foreman so everyone is 'reading from the same page'. He visits the project periodically and provides status updates along the way. On the final day he does a walk through, leaves you your invoice and asks that you email him when you get home to let him know you were satisfied with the project. I have used him 4 times now and every single experience has been just as noted above. I have had projects done at my house over the years and Bryan has been the most professional of any contractor big or small. His work speaks for itself and once you use him you will never use another paint company.

I've been using Professional Painting for 8 years now for gutters, and they always have good, fast service. I had my gutters cleaned in April, then we had a bad storm that had leaves/branches flying everywhere. The next big rain, I was having issues. Bryan got someone out the next day to redo my gutters before the next round of storms. I also used them in the past when prepping a house for sale with both inside and outside painting. Bryan worked with me on the price to stay within my budget, and as always, did a great job, and it was done quickly.

They did an excellent job -- very professional. When they removed the wallpaper, they had to put an oil base on the walls before painting. They covered everything with plastic and blocked off the doorways with plastic so the odor wouldn't spread so much. After everything was painted, they cleaned up afterwards and even put the towel racks and shelves back on the walls. We have used their services many times and plan to use them again in the near future.

There are no "Don't" when it comes to this company. Always very reliable, fair, very knowledgeable about their work, high quality material and work always preformed. Nothing but the best!!

This company is exceptional. Bryan was very responsive in getting us an estimate swiftly, and he and Jose were terrific craftsmen in building the deck, and later in installing the gazebo. These gentlemen know what they are doing, are professional, courteous and very hard working. They wanted us to be satisfied, came up with helpful suggestions, worked with ideas we had and we are so blessed that we have met them. They also do many other things, including general repairs and I know we will be calling upon them for years to come. Great company. Decent folk! So very pleased

Three (3) months after drywall work was completed it has cracked. After emailing them twice, I received a response they will not fix the work. Not happy at all. No other cracks in my houses except for the repair work that was done.

This provider starts his jobs on time and finishes them on time as long as the clients don't add to the list of things to be done. Provider arrives the first day with his the crew and along with the homeowner explains exactly the work to be done. We had all the furniture out of the room with the exception of one piece, which they moved. After preparing the area, taping off adjacent rooms, etc. the drywall was down in about 90 minutes. The crew showed up on time everyday and put in a full day. Supplies are picked up at the end of the day. You can ask your crew any questions and they always give you an answer. The provider comes out during the work to check on how it is going. He is always here at the end to inspect the work that was done. The crew moves your furniture back placing it where you want it. This is a fantastic company and we will not use anyone else. The crews are clean, polite and have respect for the homeowners and their property.

It went fantastic. We first contact Bryan last spring, but then started finishing the basement which required putting the paint project on hold. We stayed in touch and Bryan worked us into the schedule in the fall as the basement was finished. He came out and obtained our paint colors, making recommendations on finishes. The team showed up as scheduled and kept us informed as they progressed from room to room. This allowed us to move the little things when necessary instead of trying to empty the house. They moved the large items and covered everything. Plastic was hung between rooms to keep dust from moving from the areas where they were sanding the walls. In each room they went over the walls and ceiling looking for defects in the drywall and repaired them. They were very meticulous in their painting, identifying and fixing defects in the paint that I could not see but that were not acceptable to them. This was not a two day process - the team worked 8 hours a day for 2-weeks and did the job right. They take great pride in their work and did not leave until they were sure we were completely satisfied. Even then, we were told to call them if we found something wrong after they left. We have not had to take them up on this. We will definitely be using them again this spring for some exterior work that we need done and recommend them to everyone.

Bryan Barb, the owner, visited to review the work I wanted done and to give me an estimate. He was pleasant and professional--and there right when he said he would be. On the day of the job, Bryan and his crew again were there right on time. Bran walked the crew through the job in detail, checking with me about some details that hadn't previously been discussed. I am SUPER pleased with the results. The work was beautifully done, and the room looks great. In addition to really nice painting, Marvin and Jose left the area even cleaner than they found it. They worked steadily through the day and checked to be sure I was satisfied before leaving. Altogether a good experience.

Project took about 4 days from start to finish to install crown molding on lower level, paint ceilings on lower level, paint walls on lower level, stairs, and then the hallways upstairs. Painters arrived timely on the first day and covered floor/furniture for protection. They also put up plastic to reduce the dust from getting to the remainder of the condo while sanding and prepping the walls. At the end of the job, the area was vacuumed and cleaned up to look like before they arrived. The cost for the project was the quoted estimate + materials with no surprises. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this company and would use them again for future projects.

I researched Angie?s List and found that Professional Painting had outstanding reviews and was a small business, which I prefer to use instead of large companies who employ sub-contractors. I contacted Bryan Barb and he came to my home a day later to assess the work I wanted to have done. We walked through all the areas to be painted and Bryan asked me several questions and made suggestions about several issues that I had not considered. It was obvious that he was extremely knowledgeable, had a great deal of experience, and was very meticulous. I was so impressed with Bryan that I knew just by speaking with him that I had found the perfect person to hire for the painting in my home. I received the proposal the next day and immediately accepted. Due to Bryan?s already filled schedule, I waited 4 weeks for the work to commence ? but it was worth the wait. On day one, Bryan arrived with his crew - Marvin, the senior painter, and his assistant, Jose. We all walked through all the areas to be painted and Bryan explained exactly what needed to be done. The men absorbed everything Bryan instructed them to do and immediately began working by sealing off all areas not affected so that no dust would intrude on those rooms. All the furniture and ceiling fixtures were covered as well. Bryan checked in with me via email in the evenings to learn if I was satisfied with the work done during the day and he also dropped in every day to assess the completed work. He double checked everything to be sure nothing was overlooked and was done according to his directions. All the interior work was completed in four days. However, due to stormy weather the exterior work was delayed a few days but as soon as the rain ceased and the porch was dry, the concrete and posts were painted in half a day. Bryan came by my home the next day and completely reviewed all the work. It was beautiful and I am extremely pleased with the results. Bryan has a great personality, is patient and attentive to detail. It was a pleasure working with him throughout the entire project and I am so very pleased with the outcome. My family and friends have come to see the finished project and everyone was ?wowed? by the excellent workmanship. Bryan loves his work and treated my home as if it were his own. I am thrilled to have found him and will certainly have more work done by Professional Painting in the future. If you need painting done, Bryan is the man to call. His company is worthy of its name ? Professional Painting - because he is a true professional and deserves a rating of A+++.

The crew sanded and patched ceiling, walls and trim, taking care to ensure a very smooth, even finish. The family room ceiling had significant damage due to overflow from upstairs bathroom. The team completed the work on schedule; cleaned up as one room was completed, they moved to the next. They were careful when moving and covering furniture; they removed all the switch plates and replaced with the new ones i purchased. I've used several other painting companies before, but Professional Painter's are by far the best. Brian explained to me that they would sand, patch and use the bright lights to ensure nothing was missed. Every thing looks great, we couldn't be more pleased. Brian's estimate was higher than the other 2 painting companies I contacted for this job; but I'm really glad I chose Professional Painters. His demeanor and interest in my project gave me the feeling that he is truely a professional in this area and I would not be disappointed. The crew paid close attention to details and didn't cut corners; their finished work is beautiful. I will definitely use them again.

It went great. I received a proposal and the work was scheduled as soon as weather permitted. The power washing took several hours. The job was done thoroughly and included good preparation (moving lawn furniture, etc) to make cleaning easier and also to prevent damage (e.g. to potted plants). I've had Professional Painting here before to paint some interior rooms and they are extremely thorough and attentive to detail. They truly are professional in every way.

They are excellent. They come in and get the job done. the people come in, they move the furniture, take the stuff off the walls, they do the work mostly within a day and they put everything back like they found it. They came in because it got very hot in the summer, he told me what I needed and came in and did the work even after we had gone on vacation. It looked better than new I think. I've done business with them over the years.

It went great from start to finish. I have only good things to say and I'd use them again in a heartbeat. The day I called him Bryan came over to give me an estimate. He was clear about the services that would be provided. He worked around my schedule and was punctual. The painters removed mirrors and towel bars, and made needed repairs to drywall before painting. They were meticulous in the preparation, the painting and the cleanup afterwords. The job took a day and a half because of the extensive drywall repair and because of the size and angles of the master bathroom. Bryan came over with the painters to go over the job before they started and then came over to check their work when they were almost finished. He pointed out imperfections for them to address, that I probably wouldn't have noticed. The bathrooms look beautiful. The company is appropriately named. Their work is great and they are pleasant to deal with. I wish all companies I dealt with were like this one.

The service was very good. The workers were very good. They were prompt. They left the area clean before they left. I have already recommended them to friends.

We were very pleased with every aspect of the work performed. Our home is two stories in front and 3 stories in the rear. We had extensive wood rot on many of the trim boards all of which was replaced with all weather PVC board. The gutters were cleaned and then all of the exposed trim painted. The work was done exactly as promised and the results are outstanding. We were so happy with the work on the exterior of the house, we asked that Bryan return and give an estimate to repaint our kitchen. We were equally pleased with the work done in the kitchen. Jose, who performed the work on the exterior and interior was friendly, professional and an exceptionally hard worker. He was always on time, worked steadily to complete the work and cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day.
