It was a separate bill for infestation. 3 treatments for $150.00. They are good.

It is an annual subscription so it is four times a year. They keep a schedule of when your next service is. They call you to schedule it as opposed to you having to remember to call them so they get you in the schedule. The tech always arrives on time and gives information about anything that he notices that is going on the environment. He is always on time within the time window.

Inspector found termites in the soil out in back of the garage and in front of the house in the soil. Technician wrote up a service agreement as termite "treatment needed". He was ready to start right away to the tune of $800. When we said no, we wanted to get other quotes, he went away and as far as we could tell, the company was done with us because we didn't contract treatment with them. We had to GO TO THE COMPANY to get the inspection certificate for which we paid. We had to have the company amend the report to clearly state that the termites are only in the soil outside of the house. They didn't seem to understand or care about the implications of a broad statement regarding termites found and a home sale. It's not worth the come-on price of $35 to get a cheap termite inspection. Here in Virginia, there will always be termites found in the soil. We did have to get treatment, because when the buyers heard the words "termites found" they were freaked. The cost for termite treatment by Perma Treat was also more than $150 higher than other companies that gave us treatment quotes.

I have used them for almost 10 years now, and I like them fairly well. I still occasionally have a bug in the house but certainly not anything too unusual where I live. I am not really in the country but in a semi-exclusive development which has lots of trees; in fact, I have the oldest tree in this county in my yard. I could expect to have more bugs here than where I used to live before. I haven’t tried any other providers, and I don’t know if there are any that are better, but I think they are very good; I don’t think I would consider them excellent. Since I have been using them, I have had only one very small price increase, which was just this year. They are very responsive if I have a problem. I have had the same guy come out for about three to four years. I can talk to him about a particular problem that I have, and he will tell me what he can do about it. They are always professional, uniformed and punctual. I would recommend them to others.
