Perfect Ins

Omar was wonderful and I will definitely use him again for future projects. He and his assistant also nicely tolerated my four dogs barking almost nonstop from a nearby bedroom. I am going to do my best to explain what he did. I dont remember what type of tv installation it was called but I know that it was much more difficult for him to do because we live in an older home and we dont have standard drywall. They arrived at my house 10 minutes early, which was great because they spent the whole day here getting our tv set up. Omar got started right away cutting squares out of our wall to fish the wires through. That part took a really long time because the wall was very hard to cut through and they were being very careful not to mess up the wall. After that and some other stuff that I missed because I was in the other room trying to keep the dogs calm, they put the TV mount up, which took lots of extra time because he had to drill into the brick to make sure th tv was secure. Then they put the tv on the mount after Omar assured me by showing me that the mount was strong enough to hold our 60" plasma. He hooked up the sound bar, cable, bluray, PS3, and cleaned up thoroughly. He did a wonderful job. I wounld highly reccommend Perfect Ins to anyone that needs his services. P.S. They extra $40 on the cost of service was a tip for Omar and his assistant.

Everything went well. The gentleman was very personable, and he was more than happy to do as little or as much as requested.

He provided very neat cable management and cleaned as he went, including vacuuming the mess left after installing both A/V outlet boxes. He verified the heights of both tv's before mounting and was very polite during the whole process. I only have good things to say about Omar and this overall experience.

Omar performed a very quick fix on a cable issue which prevented me from getting a picture on the TV and provided good insight on a couple of future TV installations. I will certainly use Omar for my audio/video projects going forward.

Omar responded quickly and scheduled an appointment with us. He arrived when he said he would and installed our new video equipment in short order. He was very nice and easy to work with. He did not leave until he was absolutely sure that everything worked properly. We would not hesitate to recommend Omar nor to call him for assistance again.

Omar provided the best price of all the estimates that I obtained and was able to do the work on a saturday. The project involved running HDMI, Cat6 and Coaxial from one wall to a closet about 40 feet away. The drywall holes he cut were small in number and size and were well patched. Both terminal ends were beautifully finished and he worked well with issues in the existing system. While e-mail communications were a little slow, I won't hesitate to call on him again and will definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have similar work done.

Omar was fantastic. He was so friendly, super knowledgeable, quick and affordable. He moved a cable jack in my son's room then also helped me connect my receiver to my surround sound. I will be using him again soon to do wiring and mounting of a t.v. My best angieslist find!

Omar does neat and excellent quality work and alsways listened closely to my input before recommending solutions. His recommendations were very helpful in making decisions about equipment purchases. He may not the lowest price alternative but in my mind the overall outcome was worth a few dollars. I will definately use him again for future work as needed.

I live in an older split level home which (until Omar performed his work) did not have many coax outlets. We wanted to have a flatpanel hung with the wires concealed and did not have a coax cable in the room. Based on great reviews on Angieslist, we contacted Omar to get an estimate. When he visited our house he explained to my wife his exact approach to running the wires, which was great. Also, very impressed with what a nice guy Omar turned out to be. On the day of installation he showed up ready to go and did a very professional job. While he was working behind the walls I asked him to run an ethernet cable with the coaxial. No problem! He also ran a coaxial to an additional room, while he was here. They also repaired the drywall in both places required to fish the wires. Definitely will recommend him to others and will probably contact him again in the future when we buy another TV for our basement.

Based on positive reviews and recommendations on Angie's List, I contacted Perfect Ins for advice and help with upgrading my existing home theater setup. Its components were aging and, in one case, failing, so I wanted to bring everything up to date at the same time I planned to convert from cable to another service provider. Omar Fikrine, the owner, came to the house to evaluate the existing setup and discuss options. He then made recommendations of appropriate electronic equipment, which was very helpful, because I didn't know where to start. On the day of installation, Omar and an assistant swapped out the old items and installed the new ones. They also did some cleanup of the previous setup, by hiding speaker cable in the ceiling. Omar made sure that everything was working correctly and programmed a new remote control device. They cleaned up everything, including patching ceiling holes. They even re-located a TV, made excess by the new setup, to a different location in the house and connected it, as well. I was very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend them to others.

Perfect Ins. did an excellent job, my surround sound system sounds great, better then ever and no more ugly wires showing. All the components are now hidden inside a cabinet.

I received two large HDTVs and was also interested in moving from cable to fiber-optic internet service. I also has an outmoded audio system and wanted to upgrade. My goal was to have one integrated system for my home, and, therefore, I was looking for an installer who could understand what I wanted to see at the end without me having to be an expert too -- in fact, I was looking for an expert who could use my rudimentary ideas as a starting point and built a system with features that could stand the test of time, at least for the next few years, without breaking my budget. One need I had was to find a firm who would help me decide on components that would make the most sense for me.--- Omar responded promptly to my request for information on Angies List, and arranged to meet with me after work to understand what I wanted and to develop a plan of attack -- this kind of customer service ended up being a true hallmark of Omar as he continued to go out of his way to try to work around my schedule throughout the project, making communications very easy and straightforward. --- With his long and varied experience with many kinds of telephony, cable, internet, stereo, and computer technologies, Omar worked with me to develop a concept for my home system that meets my needs now and can expand in the future; he used my equipment where it made sense, but also provided me with a complete and comprehensive list of components and parts to purchase to implement the plan, and even helped me replace some items (like the mobile mounts for the TVs) to find the right equipment. --- Omar began work about one week after we agreed to start; he and his crew, over a period of about two days, wired/rewired my house, repaired walls and ceilings where the wires/cables had to be passed; installed the connections for the cable box and all the cable jacks needed around the house; installed the TVs and stereo/audio systems inside and outside; and then provided me with detailed instructions for what to ask/look for for when the internet company came out. He mapped out all the wires/cables and components, making it very clear what all the connections were.--- Within a few days after the new internet was connected, Omar returned to complete all connections, finish tidying up the system, ensure everything was working properly (which meant he had to redo some of the work of the internet company) and trained me on all the systems, programs, and controls. He also met with me one more time after I had a few days of practice to ensure I had the hang of everything. In wiring the home and connecting the system, Omar and his crew were very careful and competent, running the wires through walls and ceilings, replastering all holes/breaks, installing new jacks and the mounts, and bundling/labeling all the wires and connections in a very professional manner. In terms of customer service, besides working with me to meet at mutually convenient times, Omar remains easily accessible by email and answer questions I have had over the past few weeks. In the end, I could not be more pleased -- what I got is so much better than I even imagined. Working with someone as professional and expert as Omar has been a complete success, and the return on such a modest investment has been impressive. I am already planning to extend the audio/sonos system throughout my house and can't imagine contracting with any other firm. I recommend Perfect INs without reservation to all of my friends and colleagues.

The intercom system was no longer working affecting the intercom, radio and doorbell for our home. We have tried to find several contractors to repair. We initally contacted another contractor that was highly recommended by Angie's List. They diagnosed the problem, but tried to sell us on a more expensive solution rather than the solution we wanted (replacement of the existing system with the newer model). Omar was the second contractor contacted. He arrived well within the agreed upon time. He was very familiar with the system and immediately diagnosed the problem. He listened to what we wanted to do and worked with us to order the proper equipment. Due to two shipping errors by the company, Omar made two scheduled appointments to install and was unable to do so. After receiving the proper equipment, Omar installed al equipment and ensured it was operating. While the installation was straight forward, what impressed me most about Omar was his patience during the two appointments in which the work could not be completed. Additionally, he was very respectful of our home and meticulously cleaned up after the work was completed. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Omar didn't have a replacement power supply, but suggested I just buy one with the exact specs as the old one on line. When I asked him what I owed him for the service call, he said "nothing, I was in your area anyway." I bought a new power supply for $30 and it fixed the problem. Needless to say, I'll call on Omar in the future!

Omar and his assistant came on time, worked efficiently and quietly, and had it up with no mess. They programmed our remotes and stayed to make sure we knew how to operate them. He is a gem.

Omar and his assistant did a great job of understanding what I wanted done and then executed the work perfectly. He was flexible and was able to make some minor adjustments after the work started without any problems. They cleaned up after the work was done and did not leave any messes behind. I paid a very high fee to the seller of the theatre system to install it; however, when the installers came to the house, they stated they were unable to perform the installation. They suggested I hire an outside contractor to install the wiring, and when the work was completed, they would do the work they were able to do (which was to hang the television on the wall). Needless to say, I wasn't very happy about this arrangement. I checked Angie's List and found Mr. Firkine. He responded very quickly to my email, came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate and did the work he was hired to do. In addition to being very knowledgeable, Mr. Firkine is very professional and pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. By the way--I received a refund from the other company.

Omar was an extremely nice person and was very professional. He worked quickly and ensured I knew how to operate my new equipment before he left. I did check around and he was by far the most reasonable service provider for what I was looking for. I will be using him again in the future.

He was an exceptionally friendly and pleasant man, but most important he knew what he was doing. He went right to work,; cleaned up as he went along and explained what I needed to know.
