Description of Work: Removed an existing intercom system and installed a new retrofit system, including room and door stations. Omar, the owner, was very punctual and installed everything to my satisfaction. When the door chime failed a month later, he diagnosed it as defective and replaced it for no additional charge. Everything's working fine now.

Description of Work: I had a 58 inch Panasonic Plasma TV mounted to the wall. The price included labor, and the cost of the mount which they provided. The house was already pre-wired, so there was no wiring required. However, Omar found a problem with the pre-wiring and fixed it, which was a nice surprised.

 + -1 moreOmar is pretty unbelievable. He's friendly, fast, knows his stuff and his rates were low. He works neatly and cleans up after completing the job. Our cable company had visited half a dozen times to fix a problem with one of our flat screens, and another installer couldn't find the problem either. We just wish he would do other work too, like plumbing or painting! There are too few Omars in this world.
Description of Work: Ran cable for a new flat screen TV, mounted TV on wall, hooked up boxes inside closet behind wall for "invisible" look, programmed remote. Also fixed a problem with another TV that had our cable company and another installer stumped for years. Combined 3 remotes into 1 and taught us to use universal remotes for new and old TVs.

Conduct of 2-man team was quiet and professional throughout. Cleaned up perfectly after install(included in time estimate). Price was as stated in spite of 2 cables missed in his original estimate(Note: He made no mention of under-estimate in parts listing, but I observed them being taken from parts box. Since I knew the cost of each, I added to my payment + handling cost. Installer was appreciative and surprised-once again, he never brought up the subject).
Description of Work: Unpacked, inspected, mounted and installed 46" Samsung 655 wide screen LCD TV.

He fished the wires up from the basement. 2 of them were extremely difficult and took as long or longer than the other 4 combined. Omar worked through the challenges and finished up the job. He cleaned up extremely well and the home theater is working perfectly. The job took longer so the cost was higher than the estimate. However, it was still a very good price considering what he had to go through to get it complete. He's a true professional!!
Description of Work: Omar wired 6 speakers and connected them to the wall. He also set up the receiver and center speaker.

After the initial contact we communicated by email, I told him what I needed and he set a convenient time for us both, and he was flexible with his schedule. He showed up on time, he was very helpful with suggestions of ways to make it work and sound better without costing more money. My husband decided he wanted to upgrade our tuner and so Omar came back a few days later and installed that is well. He was completely comfortable with the task, very polite and cleaned up after himself. We would definitely use him again and I've already recommended him to a friend.
Description of Work: I had Omar disconnect a TV, DVD player, Tuner, CD player and Cable connections and install new updated equipment. It was complicated by figuring out the wiring to about 10 built-in speakers from the previous homeowner and after construction to the house.

 + -1 moreOmar was terrific to work with. I had originally thought we would go with a 37" TV and downsized it without telling Omar. He showed up with a 37" mount, installed it temporarily and came back a second time with one more suitable for a 32". This meant a second install basically. He did both for the original estimate, but I added additional dollars to cover his time and travel expenses. The quality of his work is excellent. He is not lightning fast, but that is a good thing. He also cleaned up nicely after his work.
Description of Work: Omar mounted a flat panel LCD TV, and a wall-mounted shelving unit for media components. He also installed two wall-mounted Bose speakers and moved another. All wires were run through the wall, and the wiring on the TV and media boxes were tucked away and hidden.

 + -1 moreExcellent work. Omar was responsive to my initial contact and we quickly arranged for the estimate. He showed exactly on time, surveyed the situation and we came to agreement on price. I was impressed he brought all the tools he needed for the survey - many estimators try to guess - Omar checked. The day of the work he showed on-time, worked throughout the day and got the system in. He offered excellent advice on repositioning speakers. He stayed later than planned to finish the job that day, explained the system and its set-up and did a complete check. He's the guy to use.
Description of Work: Installed four in-ceiling speakers, ran CL2 wiring to speakers and ran HDMI to TV. Installed TV on the wall attaching it to metal studs.

He returned my initial call quickly and after coming to the house to review the project, he gave us an estimate which (after everything was said and done) is exactly what he ended up charging us in-spite of several surprises along the way (the cabling was tough- he fished the wires through the existing holes rather then punch a million new ones). I think the job took longer then initially estimated but Omar was amazing calm and thoughtful the whole way through. We decided the way the universal remote had been set up was not "user friendly" for our young children and Omar came back a 3rd time and worked with my husband to create a more friendly system. He's clever, and always positive minded when it comes to problem solving. I can't recommend him enough!!
Description of Work: We recently renovated the basement and made it into a playroom for our children. Omar installed a home theater system in the basement. He installed 6 ceiling speakers and moved the "old" 50" plasma TV that was in the living room to the lower level and installed a new 50" plasma TV in the living room. He had been having problems with an existing sound system that channeled music to living room, kitchen and family room areas. Omar ran new cable and fixed the problem. He also rehung a 42" LCD TV in our bedroom that had been placed to low and rehung the 37" LCD TV in the kitchen because the hardware the original installer used was too big and was unsightly.

He returned my initial inquiry call quickly and came as requested, scoped out the work and gave me an estimate which matched the price he actually charged in-spite of several surprises along the way. I have a finished dry-wall on top of the brick above the fireplace and it was difficult to judge how much space there was for wiring. Our hopes were dashed when it turned out that there was not enough space to accommodate all the wiring we needed so Omar came back a 2nd time and channeled out the brick and installed a conduit to feed the wiring. I then had my dry-wall guy come and dry wall the open area and re-paint the wall. Omar then came back a 3rd time to finish the wiring and mount the TV. Throughout Omar and his workers were total pros - very accommodating, courteous and well-mannered. My wife and I are totally thrilled with the finished product.
Description of Work: Omar installed a new 52" Bravia LCD TV above my brick fireplace. He used the Sony bracket I purchased. He ran wiring for my existing satellite box and also added extra wires to allow me to add a DVD, game system, audio etc.. (he installed 2 HDMI cables, 2 optical audio cables, 1 component cable and power cord for the TV). He also at my request fished an antenna cable for my XM radio in my basement up to a first level window. He hid all wiring. Total cost included the Sony bracket ($200) I ordered myself (at my choosing). Omar's charge for his work including the cables he gave me came to $575 - spot on his estimate.

 + -1 moreOmar was very efficient, clean, and willing to make changes to the placement of the shelf, even after drilling the holes. He provided an estimate of $300 and, even though he was at our house for over 3 hours doing the work, his price didn't change. Other estimates were over $500 and one installer said they weren't sure they could install into brick!! We had to reschedule a couple of times and he was very flexible and came at his earliest opportunity. We highly recommend Omar and Perfect Install!!
Description of Work: Omar came to our house to install a 42-inch LCD TV into a brick wall using a wall mount, component shelf, and cord covers we provided. He also wired our cable box and X-box. He also made it easier to use one remote instead of two different ones for the TV.

 + -1 moreOmar Fikrine did entire install; excellent work, attention to detail, customer oriented, excellent price. He arrived at 8:00 am (as promised) and worked until 3:00 pm. First attached wall mount to TV and wall, and hung the TV. Next he set up the entire home-theater system and then set up the TV inputs, etc. He had to wait around about 30 minutes while I got Verizon tech support on the phone to activate our new HD DVR box; no complaints about the wait. Omar even took the time to program the Onkyo remote to run the Toshiba VCR/DVD player, Samsung TV, Verizon DVR box and Technics CD player and explained to me how to use it. Did a great job wrapping all the wires, attaching them to the molding, etc. Everything was neat and professional; did anything I asked. Left his card and told me to call if I had any questions. I can't praise Omar enough; very knowledgeable, very professional, focused on customer satisfaction, extremely reasonable rates. Top Notch! Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Mounted one Samsung 46" LCD HDTV above the fireplace; installed Onkyo HT-SR800 7.1 home-theater system (connecting wires to the Onkyo Rx, hanging speakers, etc); connected DVR, CD player, and DVD/VCR combo to Onkyo tuner and "fished" wires through the walls for 2 of the home-theater system speakers. He even spliced extra wire to two of the home-theater speakers so I could put them where I wanted on the walls. Bundled all wires neatly. Talked to 3 other providers about just TV install; one was $400 for standard wall mount & connecting 3 components; one was $500 & included tilt wall mount, the last didn't give an exact quote, just $85 for coming to house and $85/man hr. Perfect Installs charged $250 for a basic TV install above fireplace, $135 for the tilt wall mount, $100 for installing the home-theater system and $40 for "fishing" wires in wall for 2 speakers. For all the work done, and being here 7 hours, his price is extremely reasonable compared to others I talked to.

 + -1 moreOmar did an amazing job from estimate through project completion. For the estimate process, he visited my condo unit and personally assessed the project in depth. His quote was exactly what he charged. He also called out unique installation characteristics of my project: a) steel studs due to concrete ceiling and b) the running of the back surround sound speaker wires under the hardwood floor molding. As for the project execution, he handled both unique installation characteristics beautifully. He also paid great attention to detail and focused on a quality end result, which was achieved and even exceeded. The TV and speakers were placed perfectly for sound and aesthetics. He cleaned up after the project. Equally important, Omar was very friendly and trustworthy during the entire process. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. I WILL use him again if the need arises.
Description of Work: Installation, mounting, wiring and set-up of Pioneer 50" flat screen television and Bose 6.1 channel surround sound system. All wires were run inside of the walls and were not exposed.

 + -1 moreOmar arrived on time. I purchased an adjustable wall mount from him and saved $350.00 from the prevailing rate charged in most electronic stores. I researched previous reports submitted and did indeed find that other electronic stores charged 599.00 for the wall mount. He also disposed of my 27" Sony Wega TV and console as many people did not want the donation of the TV (weighed 250lbs) and/or charged fee for disposal that was more than the blue book value of both the TV and console. In addition to the wall mount, he was able to fix an unforeseen grounding problem to my home. I was glad that he fixed the problem rather than tell me that it was beyond his contractual agreement and refer me to call another service company since my entire house is digital and wired with many things including an audible security system, computers and wireless servers, Bose sound system wired throughout the house. The install took over seven hours and he diligently completed the job.
Description of Work: Wall mounting LCD flat screen TV (i.e. all wires hidden in the walls). Price includes $300.00 for the TV mounting and $250.00 for the adjustable wall mount product.

I was afraid about mounting the TV on the wall (since I had never done it before), but the professionalism of the installer and the installation job enhanced my comfort level tremendously. There was some miscommunication earlier in the week about who was responsible for ordering the TV mount, but by the time the day of install came, the installer had picked up the mount and the install went as planned. Since Best Buy wanted $500.00 just for the install (without the mount), I considered the contractors prices very reasonable.
Description of Work: Had the company relocate my cable connection to another side of the room and install a reticulating arm mount for my new plasma TV. Installation was $250.00 and mount was $250.00.

Description of Work: Reconfigured my audio system that was initially set up by another company incorrectly. I had no sound coming from several speakers, hums being heard throughout the system, cumbersome ways in which to access my audio devices when using my remote control. I never used my Technics turntable due to the static and hums.

 + -1 moreWe were 100% satisfied. Omar worked late into the evening, as we wanted him to do the work while my husband was home. He spent about 6 hours meticulously installing the flat screen and speakers. It is rare to find such a dedicated perfectionist. He was very neat and tidy and thoroughly cleaned up before he left. While his price was not the cheapest available, this is one case where you do get what you pay for, and we feel that we did.
Description of Work: Two flat screen televisions were installed, including speakers. I was not aware, until we had a very bad experience with another 'installer', how important it is to know that the new flat screen plasma televisions are professionally installed. Omar was extremely serious about his work - we knew this immediately when he strapped on his tool belt and headband with a light on it! He even redid the shoddy work that was done previously by someone we had to fire from the job.
