Perfect Ins

Very good job, as this was a difficult place to hang the TV and run associated wiring. Very tight fit, particularly as my home is a small townhome with thick beams and bricks; but they did it, and professionally patched the holes. Unfortunately one of the HMDI cables had to be replaced as the head was defective, but they came back and re-wired free of charge.

I called him Wednesday - he said he would send me an email with estimates and when he could come out. He never did. I called him again Friday. He said he'd send me something by day's end. Never did.

Great experience overall. As several members have indicated in their reviews, Omar seems to prefer scheduling/correspondence via email, which I actually prefer as well, so I have a record of the appointment. He arrived as scheduled and got right to work. He mounted the TV and concealed the cables neatly in the mantle. He drilled some holes in a built in bookcase to route cables to the power source. During the install he discovered a safety issue - the mantle was extremely loose and could have fallen at any time. He repaired the mantle and went to Lowes to get brackets to make sure the problem did not reoccur. He spent a long time on my install to make sure everything was just right. A couple things to note: 1) If installing a flat screen TV you will need to get your own mount. I got mine at Amazon for FAR less than the big box stores. 2) If you are putting the components (Dvd, cable, etc) a little ways away from the TV, as I did, you will either need to buy longer cables or Omar will need to make you some. He made mine (he has the materials on the truck) and that actually was better, since they all match and are an unobtrusive black. This plus the mantle work took the price up over the cost listed on the website, but I thought that was perfectly reasonable. In terms of customer service, they were careful with the TV, using moving blankets, and also were very good about cleaning up cable bits and sawdust after the work was done. I noticed that several members indicated that Omar wasn't friendly, but I did not find that to be the case at all - I thought he was perfectly pleasant and professional, and I consider myself a bit of a stickler for that sort of thing. The only drawback with Omar was that I had to schedule for a few weeks out as he stays quite busy. But given my experience I would say it was worth it!

I have not heard anything from them.

I sent an email and recieved a response within a couple of days with a selection of dates. I was unable to make any of them and I proposed a new date. I received a confirmation email and Omar showed up at the scheduled time. I am a non-techy female and have no clue how to wallmount a TV. I wasn't even sure if the mount I had would work (I bought an extra one just in case). Omar looked at them both, told me we could use the one I had (it was missing a screw but he had extras) and told me to take the other one back to the store as it wasn't going to be necessary. 1 and 1/2 hrs later, he was done. Professional and extremely courteous. Definately Recommend.

Overall, this was a great experience. Omar was on time, and did what seems to be an excellent and thorough job. He installed the drops, patched up my walls without leaving any signs of damage. He took the time to explain the setup to me and everything worked beautifully when my connection was set up by comcast. Omar was difficult to get a hold of at first, but I think it's a small business with just him and an assistant, so I'll give him a pass there. I feel it was worth the wait. He did an excellent job and I would refer him to anyone requiring this type of service.

I have to say I was put off a bit in the beginning as he likes to do everything by email, but I have to say I couldn't have been any happier with the whole thing! I think Omar can be a bit dry on the personal touch but if you can look past that he was honest and went the extra mile on every step. We discussed the basics, he showed up gave me a quote for $750. I agreed, we set the date. Omar shows and right away starts having problems with one of my studs having a nail right in the area where he is drilling a hole for the wiring, poor guy went back and forth to his truck at least a dozen times for more tools, by the time he got through it and was able to start the rest he had been there over an hour already. Long story short, the job ran long, he ended up having to rerun my cable wire 10 times further then we estimated ( he was honest and said the wire had been split too many times and it would give me a bad picture, and he didnt want that reflected on his work), he routed additional cables then what I paid for, made it all perfect and wonderful, cleaned the tv and even gave me the cleaning kit brand new in the box, then took all the trash from my tv and put it in his truck to dispose of it for me. All in all, at the end I felt bad, poor guy had worked really hard and Im sure I was going to pay a bit over what was quoted. To my shock, when I asked him what the final total was he said $675...$75 less then what was quoted. When I asked why, he only said that is what the job was worth. I actually tried to pay him the full $750 at least but he wouldn't take it., said the $675 was fair. So I have to say the guy is honest beyond reproach and will definitely go the extra mile for you. Just dont judge him on his quiet and distant demeanor and you wont be disappointed.

They were professional, did an awesome job, and cleaned up everything before they left. It was a small job but we had a very good experience.

Omar did an excellent job. When he came to give an estimate he gave detailed information on preparing the area, such as location and type of electrical outlet needed, etc. On the actual installation day he was prompt and efficient in completing the task.

Perfect Ins promptly responded to my inquiry on their website. My questions were answered professionally and left me no doubt as to the manner of installation and what was required of me. Also- I was able to utilize a already purchased flatscreen mount based on our email dialogue. The day the installation was scheduled- they gave me a 15-minute heads-up call and arrived on time. In my home they kindly removed their shoes (much appreciated with my light color carpet) and set up a drop-cloth underneath their work areas. Both were extremely professional and courteous during my explanation of the manner in which we wished to utilize the A/V systems in both rooms. The installation went flawlessly and both workers were focused and completed their work quickly yet thoroughly. They even installed an additional A/V component that I had indicated I was planning to install later. After the work was completed, they cleaned and vacuumed the debris and dust that had accumulated. Finally- they offered expert tips on use of the peripherals I had chosen and gave sound advice as to challenges they had encountered with a particular item I was considering to add to the system. This was by far the best interaction I have had with a contractor of this nature ever. I would gladly recommend Perfect Ins to anyone seeking their services.

Omar arrived promptly and was well organized and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit concerned as my condo is an older building circa 1911 and wasn't sure if LAN and coaxial cable could be concealed within the walls and ceiling. Omar and his assistant worked diligently to install every run as planned. All work was completed on schedule and within budget. All LAN jacks work perfectly, electrical work was done perfectly, and the flat panel TV was installed perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised when Omar installed a nice patch panel in a central closet for the LAN and coaxial connections. Omar even connected by Apple Airport Extreme router and cable modem to the LAN - an unexpected bonus. When installing the flat panel, Omar installed an in-wall surge suppressor to make sure components were protected. In short, outstanding work and a very good value. Care was taken to frequently vacuum and keep the work area neat at all times - an unexpected touch. I give Omar and his crew my very highest recommendation!

He was really great. His name was Omar. He showed up earlier than we thought he was going to show up. He was very, professional, very neat and very clean. He cleaned up after himself. We were very happy with the service. He explained everything he did and how to use the system following installation. We were very, very happy with him.

After having a less than great experience with another installer for the family room TV who installed items I did not really want or need, and then charged me for them, and whose labor rates were insane, I found Omar on Angie's. He came out and did a walk through and gave me a quote I thought was fantastic. We set a date, and discussed the importance of working around my baby daughters nap schedule. He arrived promptly, and he and his assistant were quick, effective and efficient. They did everything I requested, plus a few extra items and were done with time to spare! They only negative was that one of the HDMI cables he installed in the bedroom was faulty, and it took a while to isolate the problem, but since he charged for the job, not the hours, that was not an issue at all. It is a spare for now, so he said he will swing back and replace the cable soon.

Omar and his assistant did an excellent job - they came the day of the big snow storm here in Northern VA - completed the job (except for one Bose cable that I needed to buy), ran a new cable run and the next week came back to connect the above mentioned cable. Easy to work with, great suggestions as far as unit location and options and kept a very clean work space. I would definitely recommend - a great value.

Omar was great to deal with. He showed up to run wires through walls, set up area above fireplace for TV mount, and installed electrical for TV and components on Tuesday. He patched up all holes and I had painters paint room the following day. On Friday, Omar returned to mount TV and speakers, install shelf, and then set up all components. I am extremely please with his work and I will use him again to set up my next home theater system!

They are wonderful. His name was Omar Sikrink. I've used him twice. He made holes in the wall from the roof and he was neat. He knew what he was doing. The price was reasonable. He went beyond the call; he straightened out my computer so I could stream movies. He explained the whole thing. He was a very sweet guy. He was the nicest guy. The price was fair. I needed some things that he suggested and I bought them at cost from him. Everything was fine. He gave me a top-notch router. He wasn't pushing anything and my stuff was pathetic. He was excellent. He was at the door at 9 am on the dot. I would use him again and I would recommend him.

Omar is great to work with. A very professional person to work and skilled at the entire process (1st interaction, follow up, scheduling and doing what he says he will do)! He even went beyond the original estimate (at no additional charge) by installing a additional HDMI cable from the TV through the wall for when I want to add BlueRay to both TVs. Definitely will work with him again and highly recommend!

Very prompt, courteous and friendly service. Quick diagnosis of the problem and its solution. Very reasonable service charge. This is one of the most reliable and impressive service companies I have dealt with in D.C. for nearly 24 years.

Omar and a helper fished wire, ran wire and cable, hung a large flat screen TV and four speakers. The TV was perfectly hung - square and even - and the speakers are hung quite neatly with the wires running - invisibly - into the walls behind them. Several components (DVD, Receiver, Squeeze Box, etc.) were installed on a rack near and to the left of the fireplace - and the messy wires are all hidden within the rack. Omar and his helper worked for two days straight. We did have to make two adjustments after he left: the subwoofer wasn't working when we tried out the system, and the speakers had been wired so that the right and left and to be switched back to the correct settings. This was a pesky issue to my husband, but one that I took in stride. There is still a space behind the TV - it was hung to cover an alcove and that alcove can still be seen. Omar did point out that we would need to correct that issue and that is more of a pesky issue with me than my husband. This was a difficult install - the wires had to be fished extensively. There are no marks on the wall to show that this was done - it is as if the TV, speakers and components just appeared. Omar and his helper cleaned up perfectly after themselves. Omar quickly answered my husband's phone call when the subwoofer didn't work and talked him through a solution. We feel lucky to have gotten such a fantastic looking TV / speakers / component install. Our living room looks so great we'll have to have a party to show it off :-)

Although Omar's original estimate was lower than his final estimate, I was happy to pay what was asked upon completion. During the installation he made suggestions that were well worth the additional cost. If I disagreed, he dropped the suggestion without question. Omar is prompt, clean, courteous, and professional. Heck, he understood my AV equipment's capabilities better than I. The work looks well beyond the fee paid.

The installation was excellent. This was a long two-day job. Most importantly, there were two occassions after the installation when we had some glitches that needed fixing. Omar came promptly to make adjustments. Even though we were willing to pay him for the extra visits, he refused. That's great service, cheerfully offered, and promptly completed. I would absolutely recommend this company

Omar returned my call quickly and was over the same week for an estimate. We scheduled an appt for the following week to complete the work. Omar was on time and the installation was quick, clean, and very professional. It's always great having Omar do this kind of work for me because I know he will do a great job for a reasonable price.

Omar Installed my flat panel television and sound bar system. I was concerned about the wires touching the fireplace box since it was going over the fireplace. Omar showed me how he would adjust the wires so they would not be allowed to touch the fireplace mechanism. The installation is very clean and professional. I was extremely pleased with Omar and his assistant. This is the first time I have used Angie's list and after a lifetime of just B or C rated service it was nice to get exacltly what you pay for.

Omar and his assistant were highly professional and did a very clean/impressive job mounting a 42" flat panel tv and surround sound system to my condo wall. Omar came by a week prior to the job to give me a free estimate and offered suggestions to improve my plan for the setup. He has a keen eye for where the system should be located for maximum room benefit. The job took 4.5 hours and Omar clearly put extra effort into hiding the numerous cables, running a new power outlet, and hiding the current cable outlet to give my entertainment a clean and professional appearance. I could not believe he only charged me $295 and I paid him $345 to thank him for the many extras of the job. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I received quotes for this project from other companies that were hundreds of dollars more without the type of guarantee/quality Omar provides.
