Francisco was very good, came on time, explained everything as he was going along. He was extremely efficient and helped me diagnose what needed to be done. He cleaned up, provided information about the installation and cleaning the floor that I hadn't heard before when I had another new toilet installed. I asked a bunch of questions and he answered them and didn't mind the interruptions. I will be doing more work with them in the near future.

Francisco examined both problems and clearly explained the diagnosis. He described a few options, including pricing. We were not charged for the initial diagnosis visit. He left us with a list of characteristics to look for while shopping for a new toilet that would suit our needs. We purchased a new toilet separately, which Francisco returned to install for us, as well as repair the valve/hosebib on the front of the house. At the same time, he replaced the master/secondary valves inside our home, which had worn out. He always explained and demonstrated his work. The appointments were on time. I would recommend his work and call upon the company again.

I had to call after hours the night before the appointment to request a change to my appointment time, and they were very accommodating to that as well. Called me as promised 30 minutes prior to arrival, and again shortly after to update me on the situation and quote me a final price (I was out of state at the time). Excellent, professional work at a reasonable price provided by a courteous and professional staff. I couldn't be happier with my experience using Mr Rooter.

I had a prompt reply after writing to the Mr. Rooter plumbing company on their website because our bathtub was not draining. I had a call from Andrea who was very friendly and set up an appointment for me the next day. I received a courtesy call when the plumber was 30 minutes away from my home. This call was from Michelle, who was also very polite and friendly. Francisco came on time and assessed the problem right away. He explained everything to me and even opened up the wall so that I could see the pipes. Since our house is 40 years old, the pipes were rusting and very fragile. He explained that since the overflow valve was missing and the drain was clogged, pvc piping was a better choice and a preventive measure to avoid a leak that would cause more damage. He even showed me pictures on his phone to illustrate his explanations. We agreed to have the work done and an appointment was set for the next day since it was a 3 to 4 hour job. Francisco arrived in the morning and completed all the work in a professional manner. He was personable and responsible and has a high level of skill. He had to cut into our ceiling and did the work neatly and with very little disruption. We were very impressed that he assessed what was wrong even before he opened up the wall to take a look. It is very reassuring to have such a skilled professional work on our home. We highly recommend Francisco to you as an excellent professional plumber. From the first contact to the completed work, we were very impressed with the Mr. Rooter plumbing company. We will certainly call them again if we need any plumbing work on our home!

Francisco found the source of the leak and put in a temporary patch for future pipe replacement.

Service was great. Francisco arrived on time and completed the installation services in a timely manner. He also cleaned up the area after he was done, explained what he did, and provided maintenance info on the new items.

The plumber showed up quickly and got right to work. Very professional and honest. After finishing the work he even took the time to explain some best practices for installing the new toilet. The only negative and this is probably an regional and/or industry wide issue is the price. The only part required could be purchased for $6.95 at any big box store. Expendables (glue, primer) would be less than $2.00 for the amount used. I provided the electricity and even some of the tools used for the job. The entire job took less than one hour. So... subtracting that from the almost $500 dollars I spent means that the plumber and/or company was making about $490/hr. That is twice the pay of a senior captain at a major airline and 1.5 times the pay for a good attorney. I am not sure why the plumbing industry gets away with having this type of stranglehold on the American public. I agree they are skilled workers and should be paid an appropriate amount but this seems excessive in comparison to other trades requiring similar skill and training.

Mr. Rooter was very friendly and helpful in answering my initial questions and setting up an appointment to perform the repairs. On the day of the appointment, the technician (Francisco) called ahead of time and arrived promptly. Not only did Francisco fix the pipes, he reinstalled them properly (since the builder failed to). While doing this, he explained what he was doing and why. He also provided me tips on maintaining our plumbing throughout the house and how to avoid frozen pipes in the future. I truly appreciated his professionalism and thorough explanations. This was one of the best (if not the top) experiences I've had with a contractor. Kudos!!!

Mr. Rooter has proven to be a very responsive and professional company, which my husband and I are happy to trust with our home. We recently bought our first home and, upon move in, discovered several plumbing issues that seemed like they needed to be addressed. Mr. Rooter dispatched a practiced professional to our house to assess our needs and provide recommendations. At no time did we feel like we were being "upsold" and the pricing was easy-to-understand and reasonable. We had two minor follow-up issues - no fault of Mr. Rooter - and they quickly addressed the issue and even offered us a credit for our inconvenience! Great company with the nicest people!!

Mr. Rooter's service (through Kevin Tozcko) was exceptional. This was the second time we called upon Mr. Rooter: earlier in March we asked Kevin to install a dish washer and survey the plumbing in our newly-purchased home with an eye toward replacing older equipment. The installation of the water heater, disposer and sump pump was done within a day by two master plumbers. They were on time, efficient, professional in all respects and very easy to work with. We relied on Kevin's advice in terms of equipment brands and capacities and have been most satisfied. We have recommended Mr. Rooter to others in the area (including a son who had an emergency plumbing situation that they solved.)

Francisco was the service manand he was terrific. He did an check to see what repairs needed to be done And instead of having me take off another work day so the repairs could be done he made time for me on his busy Saturday. He did the work and was very through. I would definetely have Mr. Roto come back to fix more of my plumbing issues.

I was very pleased. The technician was very polite and professional and explained that he could diagnose the problem and then would know if it could be repaired or would have to be replaced. Fortunately, it was able to be fixed and he did it right away! Bonus that I was able to use a $40 coupon for Angie's List members. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again.

Both my kitchen sinks would not drain due to clog in drain pipe, I assume. when I would turn on the garbage disposal, both sinks filled with water and did not drain. This happened Friday night. On sat. morning at 7:45, I called Mr. Rooter after reading good reviews on angie's list. They told me a tech would call. Daniel called a short time later and said he would be at my house around 10. Shortly before 10 a.m., he called and said he was on the way. upon arrival, he promptly diagnosed the problem and gave me two scenarios of how to clear up the stoppage. He also gave me an estimate. I thought it was rather high, but he showed me in his book what the charge was for such a project, so I was fine with that. I received a special pricing due to being an angie's list member and also he honored a $40 discount from the angie's list sight. This brought down the amount a great deal. He spent about 45 mins. on the project. I was very pleased with his promptness, knowledge of what he was doing, and professionalism. It was a holiday weekend and I was grateful that the problem could be taken care of during the weekend. I do have another plumbing company I normally call, but they do not work on Saturdays. I will not hesitate to call Mr. rooter for all my plumbing needs in the future. The only B for price is the $10 gas service charge-- I assume this means gasoline to come out to my home. Wasn't aware of this charge beforehand, but it probably would not have made a difference. Thank you again for such prompt service.

I feel all of the appropriate checks were made. This is the third company I have consulted about my master bathroom plumbing problem. The plan is to select the best. This company and another ran the same tests and came up with the same diagnosis. One other was so far off the mark and potentially so expensive until I dismissed him out of hand. I have not decided which of the two giving the same diagnosis I will select. However, I did agree that their attempt to identify the problem was appropriate.

We discovered a leak at 10 pm and called Mr. Rooter. He knew what he needed to repair my leak when I described our problem. He arrived about 30 min. later and had all materials to fix our problem. Was very quick and efficient, and had us repaired within an hour. He was very polite and professional. Was very impressed with the job quality, even though it was late he did not take any short cuts just to get done.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Mr. Rooter Plumbing Of Northern Virginia. We're not satisfied with the service because he just came and evaluated the problems that we were already aware of.

Terry's team did a professional job, and solved the problem. Communications was great, and I knew what was happening the entire time. And, of course, the sewer line is fixed. Great work.

My toilet on the top floor started having water behind it a few days ago. After a couple of days the ceiling on the floor underneath became discolored and began to leak very slowly; I noticed the leak because the carpet was damp underneath it. I realized I needed some fast action. I called a few of the plumbing companies on the list; they were polite on the phone, but unable to come out the same day. I called this company because it was listed as close, the cost were in line with other places and they have good reviews. I called early in the afternoon, just before 1PM. The phone agent gave me a window of between 2PM and 5PM. The plumber arrived within three hours. He was extremely professional and assessed the problem. He quoted me the price and I received the $20 Angie's List price. He then proceeded to repair the toilet and within an hour let me know he was almost finished, but needed a non-standard part which he checked for in his truck and could not find. He went to Home Depot and returned with part very quickly and completed the work. In summary, with extremely fast action, arriving within 3 hours of calling the plumber arrived and completed the work quickly. Everything was extremely professional. The pricing came from a catalog he had with him. He showed me the work after he completed; now my toilet is fixed. I highly recommend this company.
