Description of Work: Replaced a shower cartridge. The job was not as easy as it should have been and the technician spent more time here than was initially thought. He didn't charge me any more than he originally quoted me. He was on time and courteous and professional.

Description of Work: Everything from the scheduling to the technician followup was great. Scheduling was easy. The technician called as promised when he was on his way so I could get home from a child's soccer game. He inspected for some issues we want fixed with a couple toilets as well as outside water spigots. He provided straightforward recommendations and honest suggestions that were cheaper but he felt would be better. We haven't scheduled to have the work done yet, but that's only because of our schedules. We would definitely use and recommend Mr. Rooter.

Description of Work: I do apologize for not being responsive to Angie's List members, but I will say that I do remember that the repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not and push me into buying anything that I didn't need or ask for and his work was top notch. I highly recommend them and if I have an issue in the future, I will definitely use their services again.

Description of Work: We has some issues in a house we just bought and Mr. Rooter coordinated with us quickly to get some minor plumbing issues resolved/ I was very happy with their responsiveness and followup. They worked on our dishwasher (wasn't installed right), and our well water filter, and also rehooked up our washing machine (leaked).

Description of Work: I scheduled service for Saturday morning and was given a window of 8 to 10am. They didn't show. I called the company at 10 and the technician called me 1020, explaining that they had an emergency job that morning but could be at my house between 12 and 1230. Once again, he doesn't show and this time I can't reach him. After waiting 5 and a half hours, I cancelled and will go with someone else. I understand that things come up, but don't make the customer chase you for information. I will say that the reception was very nice and apologetic.

Description of Work: Received frantic call on a Saturday from tenant about water pouring from kitchen sink onto cabinet and floor. Some plumbers don't work on weekends; some will come out but charge you double their weekday rates; others simply tell you you have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. When I called Mr Rooter, I received an immediate call back from John Blaine, a field rep/plumber with Mr Rooter, who said he would squeeze me into his busy schedule -- and he did! He arrived when he said he would, indentified and fixed the problem quickly and only charged the normal weekday rate for his service, not the double-charge other plumbers charge. Everyone I dealt with at Mr Rooter was professional and very responsive. I am a property manager and will certainly call Mr Rooter in the future when plumbing problems arise at our properties.

Description of Work: Called for emergency service over the weekend and the owner answered the phone. He was professional and friendly and told us that we would see a technician that day. Although the technician arrived approximately 30 minutes after the window promised, he was terrific. John had been working all day but was friendly and professional and went to work right away. The problem was fixed 2 days later as we needed to provide a part from Home Depot. We were very pleased with Mr. Rooter especially due to the excellent customer service provided by John. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Description of Work: We accidentally lost a doll's fork down the garbage disposal in our rental house, and the disposal was jammed. We were frantic, and the company sent out a repairman within an hour (the other company we tried was not even open). This was around 6:30pm. The gentleman who arrived was professional and very knowledgeable. He gave us an initial appraisal, noting that if he turned it on and there was something jammed, it might be further damaged and would result in needing a new disposal, but we gave him the approval to continue. He was very skilled, and was able to extract the fork (we did not know that anything had gone in and thought it had simply worn out). He noted our good luck, and was very personable while working, even taking time to explain to our daughter what he was doing (she was entranced). He was done very quickly, and cleaned up all the mess. Great service.

Description of Work: In the middle of our newly purchased home's kitchen deconstruction, the crew encountered a problem with the water pipes while trying to remove the sink. None of the water shutoff valves worked for the sink's pipes, and they would need to be capped before they could remove the sink (they were not under contract for plumbing). It was late afternoon and, after called a company in my town, I remembered my great past experience with Mr. Rooter in our rental house. Although they were about 40 minutes away from our house, they responded that they would be able to send someone out right away, and would call me back in 5 minutes with an approximate estimate, which they did. The technician came in only 25 minutes, was very professional and personable, and very fast. His work was nicely done, and he left a clear estimate for another leak I found in a separate pipe, so that I could do it at a later time when it was more convenient for me. As with my first experience with their company, I was extremely pleased. Would highly recommend to others.

IN LESS THAN 45 MINUTES THE JOB WAS COMPLETED.HE WAS EFFICIENT AND INFORMATIVE.HE ALSO INSPECTED THE WATER HEATER .HE DID NOT WASTE MY TIME OR HIS. A GREAT JOB A FAST WORKER I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
