Matt was very punctual. He quickly identified the problem with the overhead fixture and repaired it, then took the time to check other electrical outlets to make sure there were no other problems. In addition, he patiently answered my questions about the different types of overhead lighting fixtures that could be installed in rooms where lighting was poor (plus gave some estimated costs). Matt was extremely competent and also very friendly. The work was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I originally found Mister Rogers Electric due to his positive reviews on Yelp, and then confirmed those reviews on Angie's List. There is a good reason why all the reviews are positive. I highly recommend Mister Rogers Electric, and will definitely use Matt again when I have need of an electrician.

Victor began troubleshooting and within an hour, Matt came over to double-team the process. By the third hour, after a time-consuming process of elimination, crawling in the crawl space, etc., they discovered the source of the problem, made the necessary repairs, completed the other items and cleaned up after they were finished. I was so pleased with their work, I requested a couple of more items to be done (replace a non-working recessed kitchen ceiling light fixture) and they returned within a couple of weeks (my availability was the issue) to do it. They are a pleasant team of professionals, and just as importantly, they are honest and fair. I recommend them 100%!

Matt did a wonderful job and we would recommend him to anybody. He actually told us that if we would have waited longer that we could have had a bad house fire because of the electrical wires. The furnace kept having an electrical trip and thats why we initially needed an electrician. Our neighbor used to work with Matt and that's who referred him to us.

Victor arrived for our appointment, on time, and had many excellent suggestions. He was courteous and professional at all times. When I mentioned that I was having problems finding light fixtures that used standard incandescent bulbs, he dropped off some catalogues for us to look at. Many of the fixtures, that I was looking for, were in those books ... at very reasonable prices. We received a clear, itemized statement, by email, within three days. After we received the estimate, I had a question about LED light bulb wattage conversions (from incandescent to LED). I called Victor and he answered all my questions and told me to feel free to call him if I had any more questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any electrical work.

We were introduced to Matt by referral from our realtors. Our first experience with him was to replace a flood light; we were so impressed, we asked him to come back to install recessed lighting and replace a photocell unit on an outside light fixture. Matt arrived on time, utilizing a door mat and booties upon entering the house. He completed the work quickly and cleanly, erecting tarp around the work area to minimize dust. Which, by the way, there was literally NO trace of dust or debris after he left. I suspect he wrangled pretty intensely with our outside light fixture which must be over 40 years old, but he only humbly mentioned that it was "a little corroded". Matt is always very responsive and friendly. He is incredibly timely, clean, and courteous. Matt offers thoughtful and knowledgeable recommendations. I thought his pricing was very fair and I love that he mixes a modern approach with old school service values. We plan on contacting Matt with additional projects. We have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so. Thanks for a great experience, Matt!

Mister Rogers (aka Matt Rogers) was excellent from start to finish. Estimate - I contacted the company via Facebook on a sunday night around 9pm. An email was waiting for me the next morning around 8am asking to schedule an estimate almost immediately. Matt arrived on his scheduled appointment on time, iPad in hand to do the estimate. The rough estimate was $100 per recessed light (incandescent) and $200 per LED recessed light, plus about $50 for each dimmer switch. We asked for about 23 lights, which was 2 days worth of work, and all quotes included labor and parts. The quote was emailed to me before he even left the site. Work - Matt completed the job in 1 day, bringing in an assistant so that we would not have to take an extra day off work to facilitate the work (greatly appreciated!). What stands out about Matt's work - extremely polite, prompt, and CLEAN. Each light was installed beautifully, and he promptly cleaned up his work space quickly. My house was cleaner at completion than when he arrived. His work came in right at estimate, plus he hung an extra fixture for me at no charge. Matt also realized that I qualified for a discount that I had not asked for (didn't realize that he offered it) and refunded me the amount without me even asking. This is rare in a contractor. In short, Mister Rogers would be an outstanding hire for anyone. His professionalism was outstanding and his integrity is noteworthy. You *MAY* find better prices (I could not), but I doubt you could find someone better to trust in your home for your electrical needs.

Perfect! Matt's first words when he was a kid were "Light On" and he played with electric plugs, recepticals, etc. that I would pick up at the hardware store. At the age of 2 he knew the difference between AC and DC. I know this because I'm his Dad and very proud of him. My wife and I always knew Matt was going to be an electrician and we sent him to school to get his Journeyman's license. Many years latter, Matt is now a licensed Master Electrician with a true vision of what services he wants to provide AND how he wants to avoid the "Worst Practices" of his competitors. I highly recommend Mr. Rogers electric and Matt, my Son, because I KNOW he'll provide an honest assessment of what needs to be done AND an honest value of the work that needs to be done.

Mr. Rogers was early! Assessed the electrical issue and began work. He wore boots over shoes so that dirt was not brought into house. Willing to do additional work at the last minute.

Mr. Rogers himself did the work. Was very friendly on the phone and in person. Kept my house very clean and was quick.

Outstanding, impeccable and an invaluable electrician!! We have used Matt since 2005. He has upgraded and updated almost every electrical fixture in our home. We are sincerely indebted to him. In 2005, upon Matt's recommendation, we installed a surge arrester on our electrical panel. When our home experienced a massive power surge, the surge arrested was destroyed but our home remained safe--saving us thousands of dollars on electronics and appliances which otherwise would have been destroyed! Matt is honest, extremely competent, friendly and reliable. He speaks English too! Wouldn't use anyone else!!
