Alex Manzano returned my call immediately and came by and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work. Alex and his workers were punctual and worked until everything was done. Whenever I called, Alex got right back to me and promptly scheduled the work. He weeded my yard (it was in bad shape), mulched, removed at tree and planted flowers. In the rear of the house he weeded, put a tarp down and put river rocks on the tarp. He did a beautiful job. My neighbor is so impressed that he is going to call Manzano Landscaping.

They arrived early, worked all day, and the results were beautiful! I already have plans to have them back in the fall (when it is more appropriate to prune some of the holly's) and to do a late season cleanup. I have one tree that is very ill, and they recommended a deep nutrient treatment and referred me to a company to do the treatment. If we save the tree, great, if not, they can come back and take it down and remove the stump. Budget permitting, I have plans to have a stone retaining wall built on the side of my house, and to plant some additional trees and shrubs this fall. I have every confidence that I can rely on Manzano's to provide proper care of my plants and yard, to answer my questions and advise me on most suitable plants/shrubs. Manzano's did a great job at a fair price. They have my recommendation.

He is very helpful and reasonable. He fixed the lawn. So far I have been really happy with him. He was very honest.

I contacted Manzano Landscaping through Angies List on 5/7/12. Alex responded immediately letting me know he would come by to take a look at the yard and provide me with an estimate. I explained to him that I was looking to change lawnservices b/c my current company's work had slipped and I was no longer happy with the results. After further email communication - Alex and his crewed came on Thursday 5/10/12 to do the yard. I am IMPRESSED! They were polite, professional and very quick! More importantly, my yard has never looked this good and I am extremely impressed with the work quality for the price paid! On the spot, we scheduled them to do some minor landscaping repair and I look forward to continuing to use them for future projects.

An e-mail was sent by me on March 5th for an estimate on mulch and edging of my yard and beds from his ad on Craigslist. Alex (owner) sends me an estimate via e-mail and I replied with an offer. Past yard work was done by another local landscaper whose service went down in which Alex was informed about. Job is accepted and Alex will be able to meet me at the house between 7:30-8:30 am today. I told him I would like to meet him prior to the work to discuss the scope and nature of the job, show irrigation pipes and lighting cables as to not damage them. I also inquired about licensed or insurance. He replied that he was insured and this type of work does not require license and he has a A rating on Angie's List. So I do my due dilignece and decide to go for it as long as we can meet prior to the work being performed. So today, he does not show up on time, I call him and he ends up being a hour late which forced me to miss some work. To top that off, the amount of the mulch in his truck is not sufficient. From observation, he probably had enough mulch for the front and side beds. This is a million dollar + home professionally landscaped with numerous flower beds which requires aprroximately 15 yards of mulch which he should have estimated. I personally do a lot of gardening and yard maintenance and have ordered bulk mulch in the past. Upon asking about the lack of mulch, Alex informs me that he does not want to damange his truck and would get more if required. From that moment, I did not trust his competence and judgement and decided immeduately not to use him, especially after him mentioning the price we agreed upon. If you did not want the job, then just say no, it's that simple and if you want to rip-off someone clueless on yard work, then do it at your own leisure. I told him there are other companies which would gladly accept and have accepted the job but I just happen to use him as he responded first and had decent reviews. On a side note, the yard was completed by a landscaper for less $.

My experience with this company was horrible!!!!! I was told on several occasions that my lawn would be serviced, but no one ever showed. He agreed to do the work, but just didn't show up. I contacted the company via phone on March 16th stating that I found them on Angie's List and wanted an estimate for basic lawn work to include mowing, trimming,edging,etc. He said that he would be in my area the following week and asked me to send an email to get on the schedule.? He also said since my lot is less than 10000 sq feet, the lawn service should be $35 - $40. So, I sent an email requesting to be added to the schedule for the next week for a lawn mowing. After the email, I heard absolutely nothing so I sent another email on March 26th asking if he had an opportunity to look at my lawn while he was in my area the previous week. I also asked when he could begin servicing and requested that I be added to his schedule. I needed to know because I had scheduled my lawn fertilization and needed to coordinate the mowing with the fertilization. They responded on March 27th stating that my property was on the route for the next day, Wednesday. I would have never known had i not contacted the. Unfortunately, this day was the same day as my fertilization, so I sent an email asking to be put on the schedule for the next week, the week of April 1st. The agreed via email to skip my house and add me to the route for next week. As the end of the week approached, I didn't hear anything, so I sent an email on April 5th asking if my home was on his route for the week. I heard nothing. So I sent another email on Friday, April 6th asking if my lawn would've be mowed. He followed up later that night via email with an apology stating he got backed up and would take care of my lawn on Sunday morning (Easter Sunday). So, I said okay. I appreciated the apology. So Sunday came and no one showed. So, I got really frustrated. I sent him an email on Sunday stating that he said he would show, but didn't. He responded on Monday, April 8th, apologizing again and stated he would get my lawn the next time free of charge. He stated that they would be mowing all day Wed, April 11th if it didnt rain too much, but if it did rain, he promised to take care of my lawn on the following day, Thur, April 12th.? So, I said okay again and appreciated the free offer. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday came and passed without rain and without my lawn being serviced. Once again, he never showed up to take care of my lawn as promised on multiple occasions. Neither did he contact me to tell me he wasn't going to show. I have given up! This was absolutely the poorest customer service I've ever experienced. I never had a company agree to do work and just didnt show up. This company obviously doesn't care to have any additional business. I wouldn't recommend contacting this company for anything!

I contacted Manzano Landscaping and requested an estimate for sod installation in the front yard of my townhouse this week. A representative stopped by my home later that afternoon, provided a very reasonable estimate, and scheduled a time to come by and install the sod the next morning. The crew was prompt, courteous, and very detailed. In addition to installing the new sod, they also cleared out debris/old leaves from all of the flower beds in my front yard. The job was done in about an hour. As this company also offers other landscaping services, I plan to use them again this spring.

They were great. They aim to please and they were timely. Any time they had a question they would come find me to verify what I wanted to do.

This gave us a great feeling to have lawn service so professional with great quality for the price. I have asked his for certain details and he carried through with no issues and no up charges.

It was a terrific experience working with Manzano Landscaping. Prompt and professional, Alex Manzano made communication easy through email. I look forward to hiring this service in the springtime for smaller yard work and possible landscaping projects.

The work went well, and the workers came on time and did an adequate job. Rather then remove the grass, they skimmed it with shovels and then used a weed whacker to cut it down further. With several inches of topsoil over the remaining sod it should be fine and not sprout through. We were told the trees were guaranteed for a year as long as we took care of them. When one tree died six months after it was planted I emailed Alex, and he replied that he'd come back and replace it. It took a little time (couple of weeks), but we now have a new tree. I understand the delay with all the rain we've had this Spring...

Fantastic work, prompt, and professional. Quiet, quick, thorough, and the cleaned up everything when they were done. 4 hours start to finish. I was very happy with the results and would recommend this company to anyone, any time.

I communicated with Alex via email. Received estimate for work requested. Was given a start date,(they came earlier than stated), and they completed the job in a day, and I was extremely satisfied with the results. My yard was neat, with a professionally manicured look that I anticipated.

Manzano Landscaping has been great each time I have hired them. They are affordably priced and do good work in a timely fashion.

I've used Manzano Landscaping twice now. The latest job was to clean front yard beds, level, mulch, etc. They even raked the front yard as our trees had been serviced by the power company and lot's of branches and debris were left behind. (Thanks Alex!). I had a new fence installed and a lot of clay was left behind, from all the post holes that were dug. They removed the clay, cut a 100'x 6" trench along back fence to keep bottom of fence clear and to provide drainage, installed drain pipe to extend neighbors drain across my yard (to inhibit pooling during rain on one side of back yard), seeded, installed ground cover over new topsoild. I provided the seed and ground cover. They provided the mulch and topsoil. Very professional job. They've responded diligently both times I've used them. Alex comes out to walk the job, repsonds in email with quote and time he can begin. Very good communications and very happy with the job and cost. I highly recommed this company.
