I had contacted 2 other contractors to do the work for me and both came out to provide a quote. Both took weeks to return my calls and then never provided written quotes. I was fed up but contacted Mand K through Angie's list. Mark contacted me back very quickly and came out very quickly to give me a quote. His quote was exactly what I had thought was reasonable for the work. It was professionally written and detailed to exactly what work he would do and what materials he would use. I was a little picky on how I wanted the job done and he was very accommodating. He said he was busy on another job and that he would contact me when we could set up a time frame of when the work could be completed. His other job ran a little long but I understand that he couldn't drop everything to do my job. When he gave me a time frame of when he could do the job and he stuck to it. That was really important to me. He came and did the job exactly as described and with high quality. I will be calling him again when I need a job done. He was honest, timely, and did the job well with no BS. That was what I was looking for and Mand K delivered.

After attempting to meet with (unsuccessfully) with two other contractors recommended by this site, we were fortunate enough to be introduced to Mark through a mutual friend. It should be noted that at the time, Mark was not on Angie's list. He is a and quot;straight shooter,and quot; and was absolutely up front as far as what to expect, length of project, any unforeseen events, and estimated cost. He and Karlo were always on time, and if any issues came up, would drop what they were doing to rectify the situation. We have recommended Mand K to friends and neighbors and they have had similar success. We feel completely comfortable with them working on the house when we aren't around and they are even great with our dog. They are super-clean, always putting out drop-cloths and cleaning up after work is done for the day. Mark and Karlo work closely with several area tilers, electricians, welders, plumbers, etc., so that they can recommend someone great who can provide different services with the same favorable outcomes (when needed). We were so impressed with their work, that we are looking forward to them finishing our basement this fall!
