K-Construction

Description of Work: Mahesh Kumar (owner of K-Construction and Liquidators Inc) was hired as a general contractor back in May of 2010. The remodeling was to be completed by June 17th of 2010. It's now May of 2011 and not complete! Delays are always someone else's fault when speaking to Mr Kumar, this I learnt comes down to his poor organization skills and wanting to play the blame game. The workmanship is very poor, with little to no attention paid to detail. People and safety are not his first priority it's simply all about the money and moving onto the next victim as quickly as he can. As I found out first hand, one of Mr Kumar's subcontractors who laid the hardwood floors in my home, called to say he was going to put a lien on my property because Mr Kumar had not paid him in months for the work he had done on the house. I explained how unfair that was to put me in the middle of it. The gentlemen had no other choice in order to recover the outstanding balance owed. This has been a common occurrence with Mr Kumar's subcontractors calling me about walking off the job as they have not yet been paid for work completed . It has been an extremely unpleasant experience dealing with this company, think twice before hiring Mr Kumar to work on any of your projects. DO NOT trust this company with your home!
