We could not be happier with how the power washing of the exterior of our home turned out. What a difference! This was definitely money well spent. We knew we had a lot of green algae, but we didn't realize how generally dirty the siding was until we compared it to how it looks now after washing. The stairwell leading to our basement looks so much better, no more green goo. A bonus is that Hyland washed out the window sills. I wasn't necessarily expecting that. Now if I finally get around to cleaning our windows, Hyland did all the heavy lifting by getting all the grime off the outside and the dirt out of the sills. They also washed out the gutters. Coming to agreement on price was easy and straightforward. Jim Hyland was able to develop an estimate based on my description of square footage and using a picture from Google Earth. He arrived at the scheduled time and introduced himself and we talked briefly about the details. Next time, we will not wait so long to have this done, but rather will have Hyland come back as part of regular home maintenance.

I pre-arranged this service in advance as we live in a wooded area and I wanted to make sure all of the spring time detritus had fallen off the trees. Mr. Hyland was punctual per the agreed upon schedule, professional and did a thorough job.

Punctual and responsive to owner requests over 2 day period. Professional assessment of drywall condition and which sagging panels required repair/replacement. Skilled drywall taping and joint compound process. Noteworthy for patience to do job right including cleanup.

Everything went well. It was a pretty straightforward job on a townhome.

He called and made it clear he didn’t want to do it. He made lots of excuses and didn’t want to come out and see the deck. He asked me how old my deck was, what size it is, etc.. It became clear that he did not want to come out do any stripping, even though I was clear that half of it was already done.

Hyland came within the timeframe requested, and even though I was not at home, did a thorough and detailed job. Excellent service and they even went above and beyond. Definitely would used them again and would recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs the same service.

Their pricing is extremely reasonable - lower than other companies I checked with - and the work they offered, for the fascia board replacement, was more complete than what others offered - i.e. Jim made sure to paint the trim so it matched the house, while others would not do so. Additionally, it's a pleasure working with Jim - he is very responsive and communicative (i.e. providing notification when weather changed the schedule; keeping us informed of progress). We will most definitely contact Hyland Home Services again.

Great work. We had a lot of leaves which we had gotten down to curbside but needed to be picked up from there. We like to reuse wherever possible and so we asked them to leave about half of the vacuumed and mulched leaves with us. "This is a first!" Jim said, but he happily did it for us. 30 minutes later we had a nice bed of mulch spread over our front gardens. Well done and will certainly short-list these folks for the future.

Jim was very responsive in setting up the appointment and answering my questions. I requested he check the fascia and soffits when he came to clean the gutters and he happily agreed. I also asked him to please contact me the day before he came out so I could turn on the outside spigots (since they leak), which he did. When Jim arrived I explained my concerns and spoke with him about the problems we were having with the gutters overflowing. He noted the gutter was lower on one side and when I asked him to adjust it for me he happily complied. He also was going to remove the gutter guards we had since they weren't very good, but in the end we left them on (even though he had removed some of them to clean the gutters, which he subsequently put back). He also let me know that the roof would need replaced in about 2-3 years and that the soffits and fascia should hold until then when we could have it all replaced at the same time. All in all, he was here for about 2 hours working on my gutters. Jim is very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. I will not hesitate to contact him when my gutters need cleaned again or I need any other services that he provides.

Hyland home services was very accommodating and got us scheduled on short notice even though it was a very busy time of year. Team arrived as scheduled and did a great job with cleaning and removal of debris from our property. Will use again - thanks!

Went well. The two workers showed up on time and were pretty quick.

They did a great job. Was actually surprised at how much time they spent making sure that each surface was spotless before moving on to the next.

Wonderful job. They not only cleaned the gutters, but took down the downspouts to get them clean as well. It's a small company, which I'm convinced is the way to go; low overhead and all of that. Good communications; on time. And...clean gutters! At a reasonable price.

Jim showed up within the time window provided and proceeded to clean our gutters He further informed me that the gutters, downspouts, and gutter "guards" were all in good condition, and further advised me which portion of the gutters were not provided with guards. He further informed me certain portions of the gutters had not been properly caulked or sealed to the siding. Coincidentally, we further agreed they would come back out later to power wash the siding, at which time the gutter caulking would be completed, as well. He further observed our roof was presently in good condition, which is helpful to know in light of the pesky "storm-chasers" continually coming through our neighborhood.

Fine- Easy experience. Called and let Mr. Hyland know it was time for a gutter clean. He came while I was at work and it was all done.

I paid $99 to have our gutters cleaned using a special I purchased through Angie's List. I could have paid others less to do the job (my neighbors later told me that they pay $75 to a different company), thus only the B rating for price. However, I would hire them again. I found the people who came from Hyland Home Services to be very professional, pleasant, and thorough. All of our downspouts were clogged with leaves; they made sure that all downspouts had running water coming out of them when tested with the hose.
