I have a pretty good sized home with a large, high roof and multiple levels. I’ve struggled to find a gutter company that would complete the job well without being intimidated by the roof. I knew the gutters were full even though the screens are on, and I really needed someone to clean these gutters! I found Hyland on Angie’s List. I called him and he responded that very day. He was actually able to come out the next day! He was phenomenal, spending two and a half hours on the job. He really took his time. He used a blower, and he not only cleaned the gutters, he got into all of the corners to make sure everything was clean. His son was with him, too. When he got up to the highest parts of the roof, he didn’t actually climb onto the roof, but he was able to clean everything. He showed me a large painting bucket full of debris that he cleaned up! They even cleaned up all of the debris that had fallen to the ground, too. Nothing was left behind! He even fixed the screens in a couple of places. I was so impressed with him, and I’ll definitely call him again in the fall.

When I called, the answering machine had a specific service for gutter cleaning (just leave your name and address and they will leave you an invoice!), but I had a few preliminary questions so I had left a message. The company was very courteous and got back to me right away. He answered my questions and I signed up right away. He actually cleaned the gutters that same day and left an invoice in my door with a review form for Angie's List. Prompt and courteous. I would definitely use again.

We were looking for a company to clean our gutters. I found Hyland Home Services via Angie's List and called and asked about their services. They were prompt in returning my call and their price was great, so we scheduled them. They came out the next day and completed the job. They also provided a $5 discount because we weren't aware of a service fee for our area (outside their normal delivery area) when we originally scheduled the appointment. We didn't have to be there when they serviced our gutters and they left the bill in the door. This was extremely convenient for us. We'd definitely use them again.

I called them on 19th December 2011, and there was an invoice on my porch on 20th December 2011. The service was excellent and they left no mess behind. I am a repeat customer.

I called Mr. Hyman on Thursday,left my name, address, and phone number, and my gutters were cleaned on Friday for a reasonable price. Not only was the service quick, there was absolutely no mess left behind. I will definitely be calling them again for additional services.

I called Hyland Home Services on Friday, and the answering machine indicated for gutter cleaning, simply leave your address and contact information and they would come within 5 days, do the work, and leave the bill. I did, and on Sunday Jim arrived and did the work. I am very pleased with the work, and will certainly use Hyland Home Services in the future.

I called Mr. Hyland and left my contact information on his machine requesting gutter cleaning services. At the time, I also informed him that I would need to get an estimate for exterior trim painting. Mr. Hyland promptly called me back and was able to give me a range of pricing for the gutter cleaning before he even saw my house. He did the gutter cleaning while I was at work and left the bill in a pre-addressed envelope on my front door. He included a reasonable, detailed estimate for the exterior trim painting. I have one more estimate to get from another source for comparison but based solely on promptness, quality and responsiveness I would definately use Mr. Hyland's sevices for the painting also. The gutters were cleaned very well and my yard was clean (sometimes gutter cleaners leave all the gunk they spray out all over your driveway). I will use Mr. Hyland's services again for my last gutter cleaning of the fall and again in the spring.

Overall the experience with the company was great! It went above and beyond the call of duty.

Mr. Hyland and his son were very responsive, worked hard, were very kind and friendly and the price was fair. Only complaint is they pulled up a drip hose that was mulched in to use for the gutters, otherwise a great experience and would use them again.

They came out when I wasn't home but they did phone me to let me know they were there to perform the service. It was a positive experience.

Jim is a professional. All exchanges we're polite and professional. We did decide to have the front painted, then he would leave for a family vacation 2 weeks and continue the 3rd week. He never returned...we had to call and inquire. He did return on the 4th week. He was able to start working earlier in the day to avoid the heat and possibly finish sooner, he chose to arrive closer to noon in the heat. We did need to have Jim back for a few places missed he did return immediately and complete the job. I would recommend him, we have often! His work is beatiful!

Jim was on time and reasonably priced. Jim and his helper cleaned the gutters, cleaned up the dropped leaves on the ground around the house and made sure each drain worked with flowing water.

Jim Hyland came out for the free estimate, he was very professional and polite We automatically liked him from the start. He gave us a fair price for the job needed. When we hired him, he came over to give us paint color samples to look over a couple of days. Started work the day promised and finished in 2 days. The job was wonderful, the deck looks beautiful. We will be hiring him to clean and stain our deck flooring, and also interior painting.

Scheduling was easy and work performed on time.

Phone calls were returned promptly, service was done on a timely manner and so far we are pleased with the gutter covers. Only complaint I have was after the gutters were cleaned I walked out onto the lower roof to check those gutters and I cleaned alot of packed sediment from a 6 foot section of gutter where there is runoff from an upper downspout. I felt that should have been removed when cleaning the gutters.

I left a message for a quote. They returned the call the next day with a price. They cleaned up leaves off the deck and yard from gutters and put bag with trash and left a receipt.

My daughter had a leak on the ceiling in the back corner of her living room of a three-story townhouse (that is the middle level). A roofer told her the leak was not from the roof but from her rain gutter down spout. I called Hyland. The owner came the next day. He cleaned the gutters and down spouts, front and rear. He check the fasters for the gutters and made sure they were sloped adequately for drainage. He checked the down spouts. Done. He called before he arrived, was curteous, quick, tidy, and gone. His estimate was for $50 until he found out that I was a subscriber to Anglie's List; membership was worth a $10 discount. My daughter was thoroughly impressed. She remarked that she wished my other contractors doing work at her place were like Hyland. I wasn't a member of Angie's List when I got the other contractors. I learned my lesson.

Went very well. Jim came on time and did a great job. He was efficient and professional. He gave me an assessment of the condition of the gutters and didn't try to sell me anything extra, just did a great job. I appreciate that. I will definately call his company in the future.

Terrific work -- added years to the porch, and thousands of dollars of resell value and curb appeal. Meticulous attention to detail! Punctual and courteous. I plan on using Hyland Home Services again!!!!!!
