I bought the deal "$99 Gutter Cleaning (for homes without gutter covers and less than 2,5000 square feet)" from Hyland Home Services on May 18, 2013 and they came out to mu home and cleaned out the gutters on my home. They did a terrific job and it was a wonderful deal on Angie's List. I would definitely use them again.

No issues, no gunk or random stuff left behind. Note that these guys don't actually make specific appointments per se when using the deal, they just come out to your house when they're in your area. Pretty normal for gutter cleaning services, and doesn't really matter since you're not required to be at home for them to do the work.

He was very busy so it was hard to get him scheduled. His price was great. Everything went well overall.

I bought an Angie's Big Deal for Hyland Home Services to clean out gutters. Mr. Hyland did an extraordinary job. I was looking for a new provider to clean our gutters because the company we were using previously was OK, but for the price, the service was not great. We have trees that shed a ridiculous amount of leaves in our gutters. Mr. Hyland got them so clean I noticed it driving up to the house. He is very responsive, he came during the time period he indicated he was available, and he did a superior job. You really can't ask for more than that. We are am so pleased that we will use him as my new provider.

Excellent experience. This was my first time buying a deal on Angie's List, and it turned out great. For $99 we got our gutters cleaned. I bought the deal on Monday and by Thursday the job was done. Hyland did an excellent job -- they were thorough and efficient. I was home when they cleaned the gutters so I was able to see all the leaves and debris that came out. Per my request they were very careful when placing the ladder to access the roof -- I didn't want my front landscaping to be crushed. I was very impressed with the clean-up afterwards -- they cleared away all of the leaves that had fallen on the plants, the deck etc. from the gutters. In fact, my house looks a little neater now than before they arrived! I would highly recommend Hyland and would definitely hire them again.

Hyland made the best bid by far. Showed up when promised, did the job to expectations, and used quality paint and materials. Very happy with the service provided. House looks great. Will use again, definitely.

It was fantastic! There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The total approximate cost was $200. Their customer service and price was great!

The work was done rapidly and efficiently. Although my son had cleaned the first floor gutters annually, the gutters on the 2nd floor had not been cleaned in quite a while. I was glad to be able to get it done for such a reasonable price. He also pointed out an area where my gutters were not sloped properly and unable to drain completely. I was grateful for that information and will take steps to correct it.

Now, when it rains, I can hear water running through my gutters and not see a wall of water running off my roof and past the gutters down onto my flowers and bushes that catch a waterfall. HHS has always been prompt, professional and helpful. I have used them for years and have recommended them many times to friends and neighbors. They have completed other work for me. Other services HHs has provided for me in 2012 are: was power washing my home prior to painting the trim on my home. Prior to painting the trim on my home it was HHS that replaced the existing gutters on my home with the newer and wider gutters and down spouts. Once all of this was done (year- 2012) he power washed my driveway and it turned from a dark charcoal grey to a light beige matching the trim on my home. My home looked fresh and clean (I had forgotten the driveway was beige cement). It has been a year and my home still looks freshly painted and well kempt. I will continue to use HHS because a sense of pride and quality goes into whatever project they do. I have come to trust that they will do what they say. I have learned that over a period of many years.

After a little bit of communication difficulty, everything went well and I haven't had any issues since the service.

It was easy! They showed up on time and got the work done. They were polite, professional, and had a great price! I will use them again in the future!

I was not at home when the gentleman came. I've requested that they call me and they called me. They told me that I didn't need be there during the work. He came out and left me a note at the door that he was there and I haven't had a problem since.

The service was great. Scheduled my appointment by email. You don't really have an "appointment". They will come to your house when they are in your area and doing other houses in the area. Only waited a week or two from the first contact. Gutters were cleaned well and they cleaned up the mess too! I will be using them again in a couple months once all the leaves fall off the trees.

I was rather surprised that they came on a Sunday. I would have preferred a call to ensure that I would be home. They used my garden hose which was in place to water my garden. I usually keep it in place in a pattern so I don't have to lift it as it is 100 feet long. I had to reset it when I came home. Other than that,I believe they did a good job and would probably have them back if they keep the price the same.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for gutter cleaning at $99. It's a new home so I was not sure what additional charges would be applied. I know now that my roof pitch is usually an up charge due to the extra ladder work required, but I did not know it when the provider came to the house. Hyland Home Services called me and explained their service. They asked pertinent questions about my home and accepted "I don't know" as an answer without my feeling foolish for not knowing. They showed up on the day in question and performed the work. I received a call back with a report on how it went, what they found, and future concerns along with the explanation about my roof pitch, which he did not make an issue of. I found them to be professional, punctual, NO HASSLE, and understanding of the customer. I will definitely use their service again and, though they didn't know it at the time, I will be using them for other homes I own in the area as rentals. I have used other services in the past that cost more and sent out workers who couldn't speak English, which makes it difficult to communicate with the customer. Complaints were handled through a call center. This company handles their business on their own and they do it competently. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It was good. They seemed to do a fine job for the price and I didn't have any complaints. They seemed to be a small company, but they took care of everything really well.

He was on-time and did a great job of cleaning our gutters. We would definately recommend him for gutter cleaning or gutter guard installation.

Responsive. No hassle. All went well. I was in a bit of a time crunch and he came out within a couple of days and did the work.

Purchased the service through Angie's Lost because it was a great price. Jim got back right away, saying he'd be in touch when he was on his way to my area. The weather was horrible, which I know messed up his schedule, so I stayed in contact via email, just to get an idea of when the service would be performed. I didn't find out until a couple of hours before that Jim was on his way, thanks to a break in the weather. I was not able to be home, but Jim came and took care of the job while I was out. No muss, no fuss.

I have used Hyland Home Services several times and always impressed with the quality of work - clean gutters and no mess.
