This was a deal. It took about a 10 days for them to come and they left a statement on the door as I was not home. Very good job. Would use them again.

5/1-a fairly routine trip to cleanout clogged gutters but they verified a suspicion I had of rotten Fascia board under my gutters in the back area of the house. Their gutter cleaning was top knotch $99 job 6/23-I gave them the business of replacing my back gutter Fascia board after receiving a quote from Hyland and another contractor. It took Hyland all day to remove the gutter, rotten Fascia board, replace the board w/painted board and return the gutters to working condition. All of the work was done on time and according to their quote. A $1000 job! I wouldn't hesitate to use Hyland Home services for other gutter and roof related repairs.

Excellent service! I just bought my home and the previous owners had not cleaned the gutters in years! Hyland did a great job of getting all the debris, oakleaves and other items out of the gutters and did it quickly and efficiently. Great cleanup work afterwards! Didn't even know they had been there other than my gutters now functioned liked they should!

I purchased the deal for gutter cleaning on June 3 and the service was completed on June 21st. Hyland Home Services was very prompt and courteous with responding to my emails....and there were a few....I didn't realize that I would have to wait so long before the service would be completed and truth be told, patience is not a quality I possess well :). However, they did what the deal offered and they did it very well, we have no complaints at all. As for hiring them again, absolutely!! Thank you for your patience with my lack of patience :). I purchased the Angie's Listing: $99 Gutter Cleaning (For Homes Without Gutter Covers up to 2,5000 Square Feet). Before buying this Angie's List deal, I initially reached out to Hyland Home Services before purchasing this offer to see if he services the Northern Stafford Virginia Area. Jim from Hyland confirmed that he did service my area so I purchased the deal for $99. I traded messages for about a week to schedule a date and due to some strong storms that were coming through the area and not ideal for gutter cleaning but I needed them done for that same reason. After 3 weeks after purchasing this deal, Hyland finally showed up on May 6th after multiple emails and message to get services which were already paid. I never received a call day prior or day of showing of cleaning see if anyone was home. I received an invoice for $175 I followed up with Hyland and this was the reply "Your gutters were filled with granular dust. The shingles are too slippery to walk on at that pitch without a safety harness although I did try. Consequently we had to ladder around them to properly clean them. Also the deal is for homes located in Fairfax and Prince William counties. Your location is quite remote. I did not check but it appears your home may be more than 2500 sq ft just as a final thought. The job took me nearly 2 hours to complete. Nevertheless your business is appreciated." Hyland was very responsive to get the additional money for their necessary services and on small paper invoice which was left out in the rain which I could not read invoice address. Instead I get a message like "Please let me know your intent to pay the balance to avoid further collection activity. Thanks." I personally measured my outside of my home and it is just shy of 2100 sq ft. I did honor and pay the extra invoice amount but I will NEVER use Hyland Services again. Lack of communications and sudden change in costs without a single call to home owner to confirm those additional cost. Alarming questionable business practices such as hand written paper invoices are acknowledgement for additional payment? Be-careful with all of Hyland "fine print" it may surprised with the final invoice in the end. On a side note: After the next rain, I had to go back to each down spout and clean out the debris that was in dumped into my grass,paths and driveway. I feel that is something that should have been taken care of at the time of services. Extremely disappointed customer and best of luck!!!

I purchased the Angie's List Deal for $99. Very easy and good communication. I didn't need to be home for the service to be performed, which was great. I had a note on my door one day saying they'd been here and it provided recommended other services. Very easy transaction. Will use again.

Great! I had to wait 10 days because it was peak season, but it was WELL worth the wait. I didn't have to be home and he didn't expect payment, on the day of, allowing me to inspect the work first. It was fantastic! It rained two days later and no overflowing gutters anymore! The exterior of our home was beautiful after the wash, and no damage to the house, lawn or external wiring. Punctual, they contacted me the day prior as a reminder to close windows and have my bibs on. Will definitive use them again AND recommend to friends and neighbors. Unless it's an emergency, it's worth getting on their schedule and waiting a couple of days!

Hyland offered a great deal for gutter cleaning and I took advantage. They were swamped because I was not the only person to jump on their deal but they were always responsive, and performed the work within a reasonable amount of time after I purchased the Angie's List deal. Hyland gets an A+ because they could have just cleaned the gutters but instead followed up with concerns about the roof and other issues.

On time, thorough inspection and full clean.

Jim Hyland was true to his word and was certainly quick to respond considering Spring is such a busy season. We were in his queue to be cleaned, but with one of the bad rain storms, a gutter was clogged above our bay window and caused the water to leak into our home (minor waterfall). Jim was out the next day to clean the gutters and the leak issue has been fine ever since. He was efficient and courteous. The job was well done and we will certainly be using him again.

As always, it went great. Jim arrived punctually, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly. He had pointed out some repairs that needed doing on his last cleaning which I never called him back on, so he left me another estimate for that. I plan to schedule that repair when he has time. Excellent provider all around. No complaints at all and reasonably priced.

Took a while to get the service provider to come out due to snow. Otherwise service was fine.

Gutters were cleaned while I wasn't home, waited for big storm to finally review. Work was performed well and gutters are now cleaned.

Took a little longer than I hoped to schedule the work, but when it was done, it was done well and without hassle or headaches. I purchased through the Big Deal and I was pleased with the price and the job.

Jim cleaned and secured all gutters and downspouts and inspected my roof and told me its condition. He was very polite and professional throughout the visit. I would not hesitate to use him again..

I bought the big deal for gutter cleaning for $99.This covered 2500 sq feet. It turned out that my house was bigger than that (4600sqft) so they told me that it would be an extra $99. This was reasonable so I was fine with it. They were swamped with other jobs so they could not get to my house right away but that was ok. They did a good job and they even fixed a downspout that was blown down by heavy winds at no extra cost. Will definitely use again.

Since we were satisfied with Hyland Home Services cleaning our gutters we hired them to clean and seal our deck. Mr. Hyland meticulously pressure washed our large wooden deck, railings, and stairs. Not a spot was missed. He responded to my communications in a timely manner and was very professional. We were very pleased and would use Hyland Home Services again and recommend them.

I would not hesitate to use his services again. He kept me informed of all aspects of the job

Jim is very attentive to customer satisfaction, making sure the service not just met, but exceeded expectations. And my expectations were indeed exceeded. Pride is certainly in his work. While cleaning the gutters he took care of a few loose gutter nails which practically gave me a functional update for better rain capture, in addition to the benefits of the cleaning. Now I see how properly maintained gutters are supposed to work. Thank you.

Mr. Hyland was very friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever I left a message he always returned it as soon as he was available. I asked for an additional service of removing a satellite dish which he did for a small additional fee. He was very thorough in cleaning out the gutters and clean up the debris and side of the house. I would recommend contacting him early as he gets really booked up which means he is popular. I will be asking for his services again.

I could not use the service because the provider does not work in MD. They were very courteous and made sure I got the messages promptly so I could search for another provider.

The service provider cleaned our gutters when he was in the area and just left a receipt. So we did not have any scheduling challenges. Worked great for us!
