Description of Work: We used them for a few years. Then one day they magically stopped showing up, they said we never paid a bill, but didn't call to follow up. | |This summer, because we needed a quick turn around, we signed up again. The guy who came to the house was rude. And demanding of a check before service was done. | |We called to cancel service the next day. A couple of months later they sent out someone to spray. My wife told him we cancelled service and not to do anything. He left, but we got a bill. | |I tried calling to fight the bill. Got a lot of mouth service and put on hold for a long time. Then I was told you needed to cancel service within 3 days. Yep, I did, so then I was told the manager will call me back. I'm still waiting for the call. | |Lots of pest control companies out there. Our neighborhood is changing, I'd stay away from these guys.... | |PS.... I have the in-wall system, and not sure it ever gets filled. Even though no one else uses it, I'll stay away from this company.

We have been using them since we moved here. They seem to be pretty responsive and they come out whenever I have any problems. They knock at the door when they come here and tell me what they are doing. I have been very happy with them.
Description of Work: We use the services of Home Team Pest Defense for pest control and exterminating. They come on a quarterly basis to spray my yard and also around my house. Their last visit to my house was about a month and a half ago.

I have been dealing with them for a long time and they do an excellent pest control work. I am allergic to the spray so, they keep that in mind before spraying around.

They have done okay taking care of the ants and coming back when we see more ants. Because my wife feeds birds and squirrels we have had a problems with rats. We called them about it and they set out traps and it did not seem to have any effect. No one else seems to have been able to do anything either, so I do not think it is a problem on the behalf of HomeTeam. They are very responsive and punctual.

They came on short notice and did the work right away. I thought the price was a little high for just coming out and putting powder in the hole where the bees were, but it did take care of the bee problem.

There are stations placed around the house to detect termite activity. They apply seasonally appropriate environmentally approved chemicals for pests. They always give us a report on what they find.

I have a contract with them since 1978. They come every three months and check the termite centers around the house. I have got seventeen termite centers around the house. The price is reasonable and they haven't missed any appointments.

HomeTeam's customer service is very poor. We called Advance for a supplemental spaying between our quarterly services right as the change of companies was taking place, and HomeTeam billed us for this supplemental service. They were very unresponsive when they inherited our account from Advance. In the end, we had to resolve the issue through Advance since Home Team was unwilling to provide us with information about the services they provided. I do not recommend them.
Description of Work: We purchased an annual subscription to quarterly spraying for ants through Advanced Pest Control. Advanced Pest did the first 2. Our account was transferred to HomeTeam half way through the year. They did the last 2.

Workman showed up at appointed hour of scheduled day to install traps. He worked quickly and professionally to install the traps in discrete locations around our property. Installation of system went well and performance seems satisfactory. Periodic inspection of traps show absence of termites after initial treatment.
Description of Work: Termites were discovered to be active near our house. Home team proposed installing a Sentricon baiting system on the outside of the house.

They have been our exterminators for about 5 years now. They do a thorough job and come automatically. We have no termites and want to keep it that way. I would recommend Pro Tech.

We originally called them to conquer an ant problem that we had. They took care of it, and we were very happy with the job they did. We decided to sign up for a service contract with them. They are really good about coming out if we need some spot treatment with the ant problem, without charging us.
Description of Work: We have them take care of our quarterly pest inspection. They also did a free termite inspection for us.

They are trustworthy and competent. I have not had a problem where I had to call them in between visits. They show up like clock work. I feel they have the best prices and service.

When Pest Proof came out, they said that they could eliminate the problem with a simple solution at a reasonable rate so we had them do the work. They were great as they followed through with their word. I feel that they are honest and did a great job.
Description of Work: They cured our ant and termite problems. They injected a chemical into the ground around our foundation and then sprayed the area.

They are wonderful. They have gone the extra mile for us. They will come out if I see any kind of bug even if it's not our scheduled day. I have been using them for a few years and will certainly keep on using them for a long time.

I have been using them for a long time and they have seemed to keep the bugs away. I really feel comfortable with them. They always call ahead of time to ask me if I need them to spray inside of my house and if I am not there when they leave; they always leave a note on my door letting me know they have been there.

They came out right away after I called. When they came out to do the work the man said he could only find one mouse. I do feel good that I have a year warranty.

ProTech technician came for initial installation, one follow up, and third follow up after I cancelled my contract. NOT ONCE were they on time. My first follow up was a ''no show''. After rescheduling, they called several times saying they would be late, and showed up at 3:30 PM. I'm scheduled for 8-10 AM. The 2nd follow up I got rescheduled 4 times. When tech was late, I called to cancel my contract and asked to have the equipment removed and my money refunded. I have not heard from ProTech, nor has the equipment been removed. I would never recommend this company for termite control. I feel they fraudulantly represented themselves and am considering court action if I don't get a full refund. I'm filing a BBB complaint if I don't heard from ProTech in the next week.
Description of Work: ProTech Technician installed SpectraGuard system for termites and set indoor sticky tape insect traps in the basement, along with a monitor where termite tunnels existed. They also placed a mice contraption near the foundation of my home. I only requested termite protection, but was told regular pest control was required, meaning termite treatment and ordinary pest treatment. I was told I had no choice except automatic credit card or auto payment withdrawal from my checking account. Initial $935 at installation, with $129 charged every other month. I chose payment to my credit card, which I had to cancel after it was stolen. I paid the balance in full by check before the first follow up appt, which was a big mistake.

The people were polite on the phone and responsive. Showed up for estimate right when they said they would, and showed up to do the work on schedule. They brought the right tools - needed very tall ladders for our house, and the bees are gone. They were actually a little more expensive than another quote, but the other company cancelled us or didn't show up at least three times.

WE WERE HAPPY WITH PRO TECH & THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE. THE INSPECTOR ACTUALLY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO & WHY. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT OTHER COMPANIES WOULD WANT TO "CUT CORNERS" WITH THEIR WORK & CHARGE A HIGHER PRICE. HE WAS RIGHT.
