Everything was done on time. I don’t usually go in and out of the front door and coming through the garage. About a week later, I was showing someone of my new storm door. Then, I realized that instead of the brass hardware that I ordered, it was polished nickel. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a light bulb. I stopped by the door department and said to them that it has been 10 days since it was installed but I realized that I had a nickel polished hardware on my door and I thought that I ordered brass. They looked at the order, said that I was right, and that I ordered brass. They’ve changed contractors. They’ll have the new contractor call me and make an appointment. They called and asked if I had the replacement. Then the technician had to go by the store and pick up the brass hardware. He did a fabulous job. He came out and replaced it. I said that the door was only opening to a 45-degree angle. He fixed that. He removed all the plastic covering to protect the door from getting scratched and removed all the stickers. He said that now it looks like it was supposed to. He was nice as he could be. He came out when he said he was going to. I think that may be the reason why they switched contractors. They were very good and sent someone out. It didn’t cost me anything. They fixed what was wrong without question. The first guy was fine until the second guy came out to replace the door hardware.

I ordered some kitchen cabinets that were in stock a couple of weeks ago. They have been out to my house no less than six times since and every single time they have something wrong. They have repeatedly just been bringing out the wrong cabinets.My contractors show up, drive down from Washington D.C. to Woodbridge, VA and then have to turn around and leave becuase the cabinets are not what is on the design. My cabinets should have only needed one day of installation and now they are on their third day. Home Depot is horrible at kitchen cabinets. Another thing that was of issue is that I am remodeling my whole house and I did an over the phone quote for garage doors. I asked if I could get some with windows and they said I could, it would be $100 more and I had to special order them. I went to order them from the store and instead of $100 more, they told me they would be $250 more. They told me they would meet me halfway, charge me $185 for them. I said that is not what they told me it was going to cost, but they just said they shouldn't have told me it would only be $100 more.
