Kevin and Kevin just left my house this morning after delivering a used 8' Olhausen Eclipse I purchased from Higgins Billiards. They gave a fair price for the table, explained every step of assembling and adding new cloth, and showed how they make certain the table is flat and level. Both gentleman were professional and obviously knowledgeable and moved quickly through the process while we had an enjoyable and cordial chat throughout the 2 hours 40 minutes. Kevin of Higgins Billiards Supply provided exceptional service on recovering my 9-foot pool table. Most welcome was his thorough knowledge of pool table construction enabling him to point out various problems that may develop over time, especially with the rails. With the previous company overtightening the rails, he and his excellent assistant, also named Kevin, ensured that no damage would be done to the rails when reinstalling them to the frame. Thankfully, where I thought I had three bad cushions, he demonstrated that the dead sound was caused by a small part of the cushion losing its glue from the rail. With a simple regluing of those small spots, the dead sounds disappeared. Furthermore, he advised me that the cushions are very high quality and should never go bad. I saved considerable money by not replacing the cushions as I had thought was needed. It?s great to work with someone that?s highly professional and has integrity! I strongly recommend Higgins Billiards Supply for any work needed on your pool table!

I called Kevin for a quote on a pool table I was selling. His quote was in line with some others so based on these reviews I went with him - and was not disappointed. He arrived on time, with the cash in hand for the table, and in about a half an hour the pool table was disassembled and out. A very easy process!

Very well. Table was slightly unlevel after assembly by a contractor and our initial inspection didn't catch it. But instead of just providing instructions for the adjustable table, Kevin came out himself.

Higgins Billiard arrived on-time and started to work assembling the pool table. They were very professional and careful with my table. They assembled the base and slate and were meticulous in leveling table and reapplying the felt. I showed him some damage on the rails, which he eventually took back to his shop for some repair. The repairs were well done and made the rail look very nice. They returned to assemble the rails about 1 week later and again were on time and worked very quickly and carefully. I would highly recommend Higgins Billiards for any pool table repairs or service.

Great experience. Kevin Higgins is very knowledgeable about pool tables - you can get a real education if you ask the right questions and he is more than happy to talk and share his knowledge. He is a true pro when it comes to assembly and setup. The pool table we purchased from him was used and the delivered price from Higgins was less than half of the price of an identical new Olhausen 8' table of the exact same model. Although the table was a used table, it was in perfect shape and sitting in my family room is indistinguishable from the new one I looked at the previous week that would have cost over twice as much. He took his time on assembly and placement, and did an excellent setup after assembly - the table plays beautifully, I think he has installed or repaired close to 10,000 tables over the years and his expertise shows. Overall a very impressive experience and I would use him again in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended. Watching him assemble and setup the table was actually fun, as it is when you watch any expert in action.
