Never show up   waited our time waiting for a phone call

When we moved into our new neighborhood in SE, I came across these guys taking care of a beautiful yard in our new neighborhood and hired them to do ours, which had not been cared for at all before we moved in. It was fall, and the lawn was covered with old leaves, overgrown grass, etc. They came in and cleared out all the leaves (even a dead pigeon in a basement stairwell), aerated & mowed for $375. Since then, they've been mowing our lawn for $45 a mow (we're on a very steep hill, so happy not to have to do it!) and they fertilized ($60), took out a bush ($35, I think), and a bunch of other things. Our latest bill was cleaning the flower beds & fertilizing for $185. Lately I feel like the prices are going a little higher, but we've been very happy with their work. It's a family business, so interaction is very homey & personal, with the pluses & minuses that entails. (Ie: it's not like there's someone answering the phone all the time, but we now know the guys individually and love to have them come by.)
