Jeff and Charlie came when my new gas stove was delivered. They connected the gas piping and installed a missing shut-off valve. It was professional, quick, and very reasonably priced. Jeff is an experienced old-time plumber--a refreshing change from the big franchise guys. Iwould certainly call them for other plumbing needs. There was a slight communication problem with phone texting.

I want to leave a fair review. Cons: I had to constantly follow up after the initial call from the company, and service was a bit gruff. They also had not asked us whether we had propane or natural gas which requires a conversion kit - it came with the range, but they were unable to install it so had to call an appliance person to do that piece. Overall, it cost us double. Pros: they arrived on time and did call the appliance person to come install the conversion kit. They were not rude nor friendly. I wish they would have told us up front that they would not be able to complete the job due to the conversion kit piece, but they connected the range and then told us. In addition, the range sits about 2 inches from the wall because they said someone would need to come to create a hole in the wall to fit the pipes back into in order to fit flush against the wall. I do not know whose job it is to know or to make space for pipes when installing, so I did not know how to rate the work quality. The stove is connected to gas and works, but is not flush. I am not sure where the gaps happened; but as someone who did not know anything about installing a range, I would wish that professionals (not just this one, but all of them) would know what questions to ask homeowners before coming out. I am sure they do fine work, but based on this experience I would probably try another company if I needed this type of work done in the future.

I entered my info for a new hot water heater when mine shut down at 9:30 pm not expecting to hear back from anyone until morning. Greenacre called me within 5 min and were at my home the next morning installing my new hot water heater. Great guys who do great work. Even when I found the slightest of drip leaks the next morning there were back within an hour of my text to them to take care of it. I highly recommend them.

They did a good job fixing and installing my metal roof. I gave 3 stars because the metal roof was not as dark black as I would have liked it. Wish I could have seen a sample of the metal before they installed it. The siding was damaged in the process of them installing the roof that was not put back the way it was supposed to. Attention to detail was lacking in that department. They said I would have to pay extra to get it back to normal. The roof looks ok but not as good as my neighbor s roofs like I wanted. It almost looks like it was used because of all bends, nicks, dings, and scratches.

I asked Jeff, owner of Greenacre Plumbing, for a installation of new track sliding doors to be replaced and installed. Also I used Jeff for electrical advice. He is very knowledgable in many areas of home improvement and repairs. Jeff provided me with quotes and his pricing is very fair. His timeliness and professionalism are on par and up to standards. When his team was finished with a project, they take a lot of pride in the clean up of the project aftermath, which can be messy. His team listened to my request and provided the service beyond my expectations. Having the ability to speak directly to the owner and receive exceptional service is above and beyond the call of duty in the customer realm. I will continue to use Jeff and his team for future projects as I know I can trust and depend on them for anything.

My townhouse is located in Woodbridge, VA. It was pouring down rain when I got home, and as soon as I opened the door, I was overwhelmed by the smell of gas. I called the fire department, Washington gas, and Greenacre plumbing. Jeff came over immediately to see what was going on and what had happened. There were two gas leaks at the connectors, one at the stove, and one at the furnace. Wow, I was in shock because of what could have happened. He repaired them quickly and at a reasonable price. The boy that was a relief. He also was the connectors need to be checked on a regular basis. Jeff showing up right away show he cares about his customers. Thanks, Jeff. Update: 09/22/2020 I had a new faucet put in because my other one was leaking. They did a great job, it looks absolutely beautiful and I am very satisfied with it. Also, I had a device put onto my plumbing pipes that are called the Grundfos man submergible circulation pump. It is used to help save water, So when you turn your fault instead of getting cold water you wait about 20 seconds, and you will start getting all the hot water that you need. so I have measured this over the last three months and I am saving thousands and thousands of gallons of water my bill has gone down. I am glad I had this equipment Installed onto my plumbing and I would highly recommend anybody to get one installed.

I allowed greenacre plumber's to come into my home and service the gas issue to my house it was two elderly men the whole time they were here they were bickering amongst each other one came in smelling of alcohol he immediately went into my back room behind the dryer and started ripping down the pipes and then the other guy said that he would replace a gas line but had to go and purchase one he left to go purchase one and never came back with it the old one is still attached to my dryer the only thing he replace was a washing machine water hose they put brackets on the wall so bad looking some are attached to the piping and some are not they would put in with heavy duty screws and they were done by hammering them in that left my wall unsightly the last thing they done was turned up the water heater temperature where I almost got scalded in the shower not knowing and they wanted to charge me $422 for 2-hour job that wasn't done correctly the only good thing was they tightened up the elbow that was leaking gas. My dryer is still not working right, it took all day to dry 1 load of laundry.

1 JUL 2019 UPDATE Please note that Jeff tried to coerce me into changing my rating for him to fix what he destroyed and he even filed a compliant against me with Prince William County because he failed to do the work with a permit. They allowed him to get the permit if he repaired my home, but working with him became a nightmare and they did not fine him because he got the permit. Greenacre Plumbing summoned me to court for $565 with 6% interest. I am mortified that I trusted HomeAdvisor to recommend a vetted professional who is basically bullying me at this point. I am beyond devastated that as a disabled Iraq combat Veteran, I have the pleasure of spending my 11 September 2019, in court because I trusted HomeAdvisor and Greenacre Plumbing. FYI: I paid Jeff $1050 to do a job last year. I paid another plumber to â undoâ and correct everything Jeff did $2060, and I paid $250 for the electrician I had to hire because of Jeff. This does not include the photography equipment that was ruined, or the lost wages from leaving work and not scheduling photograph You support a dream when you support a small business, and that is what I intended to do when I chose Greenacre Plumbing to solve my basement flooding issue. They came out 25 June 2018 to analyze my issue and offer a quote. Greenacre verbally quoted me $1,000 for a 5-foot french drain to route to my existing sump pump drainage and a sump pump replacement. Greenacre showed up to my home 27 June 2018 and began work prior to issuing the proposal. In my haste, I agreed without thoroughly reviewing it. This was my fault and I own that. I trusted their verbal word without reviewing the proposal in its entirety because I trusted Jeff and because they reported to my home first thing prior to sending the proposal. Greenacre came out for a few days and dug up my yard, but did not finish the work. My basement flooded on 21 July 2018. Greenacre did not complete the work that began 27 June 2018. Greenacre pushed my project aside to tackle more pressing issues. I manually removed the water for hours, but gave up when I realized where the water came from. The water seeped through the spray foam that Greenacre used to seal the hole that they drilled in my brick stairwell in June 2018. I was grateful that Jeff brought a temporary pump to my house on 21 July 2018. He then returned on 22 July 2018 around 1300 hours. It was during this interaction that he insisted that the flooding was not their fault, although the work was not complete and my written proposal did not include a new sump pump. I explained that I chose Greenacre for this project because we vehemently discussed a sump pump installation when Jeff initially came to my house. He also insisted that I should use my insurance to cover the damage to my bamboo floors and my photography equipment, because it was not his fault that the work was not complete in almost a month after they began. Jeff agreed to provide a new sump pump, which he purchased from Lowes and installed 22 July 2018. He gave me the box that the sump pump came in from Lowes. I returned to Fort Lee first thing Monday morning on 23 July 2018 for training. I was content with the installation of the new sump pump even though my yard was still completely destroyed. My basement flooded again 23 July 2018 while I was away at Fort Lee for training, and all I could do was watch the water fill in the stairwell from my security camera. I reached out to Jeff at 1926 hours to inform him of the flooding and insisted that I would have a different company complete the work if Greenacre was unable to complete it. Jeff did not seal the hole that was in my stairwell after he installed the sump pump, and that is where the water continued to leak in from. I explained that the dirt needed to be filled properly, and the drain needed to be completed so that the water would not run back into the stairwell from the drain his company instal...
