Description of Work: They did a great job. Once they got there they were fast but careful and nothing was broken. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: a 3 hour moving service for $349.00 ended up costing $649.00 for 6 hours. I think this is a deliberate scam. first the movers were to start work at 8am to 10am, but didn't show up till 12.45pm. then they worked very slow, and as a result security could not let them into the new resident because they arrived there after hours. we agreed to be there at 8am the following day, so they can unpack by 1pm [ the latest time permitted, since the following day was THANKSGIVING DAY, and the condominium management was giving its workers an early time-off.]. well, they didn't show up until 10.30am, and worked slowly as they did the previous, finishing close to 1pm, thereby giving them enough time to charge me an additional $300.00. I protested the fee and brought to his attention the punctuality of his workers, his responsiveness to my situation, and his overall general professional responsibility. I suggested to him that I should hold back at least $100.00, and his comment was that he should be charging me more for having to come back the next day. AS IF THAT WAS MY FAULT! The actual time spent on the job was under 5 hours and I paid him for a 6 hour service. he did not care about my time and money wasted. he was more concerned about ripping me off. please do something about this.

Description of Work: GJ Moving came to my home packed my household goods and personal property and moved it into a Public Storage site. they move went extremely well. I highly recommend them toother customers.

Description of Work: I paid for three men and a truck. There were two men and a truck. They were professional, however, less manpower resulted in them charging more for working longer and so it was not a bargain.

Description of Work: This is the second time that I have used G&J Moving LLC and I am very pleased with the service. I had to move furniture from a heavily furnished two bedroom apartment. The G&J Moving guys wrapped up and carefully moved everything to my new apartment. They were very professional, on time, and pleasant to work with. I will definitely hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: Starting with a Big Deal, we had G&J Moving do two moves in one day -- two grown children had stored all their belongings in our house while they were living outside the area, and both were moving back to the area. Circumstances required both moves take place the same day. G&J managed to keep the two loads separate, doing one move in the morning and the other in the afternoon, same crew. They were hard workers and got it all done with no breakage or problems. I really appreciated their willingness to work with us on an unusual move and give us a good rate for all we had done. Would call them first for future moves.

I received updates by phone and e-mail. The Owner and employee did an excellent job. I believe the Owner was Alex and the employee was Joseph.

Description of Work: G&J movers were punctual and professional. We ended up moving more than we thought, so we went over the Angie's List deal, and paid an extra $300 or so. Unfortunately, the movers did break one thing - our treadmill - but they were patient and flexible in deducting the fee to get it inspected by a tech and ultimately repaired from our remaining moving balance. The one thing I would say is that we did kind of feel pressured to have the mover fix it, but we hold our ground and insisted a professional technician fix it instead. The breakage aside, they did a great job - wrapped and transported everything perfectly.
